\"I cannot believe you, Goku! If you were smart, you\'d leave this instant,\" Chi Chi screamed.
Goku stared at her with wide eyes and a nervous grin. \"Do I still get dinner _AND_ dessert?\"
\"GET OUT!!!\"
\"AIIIEEEE!\"
Goku dashed out the door and launched himself into the atmosphere. He sailed high above the Earth until he spotted Vegeta training in a clearing below. By instantaneous movement, he landed alongside the smaller saiyan only to receive a swift blow to the jaw. The punch sent Goku backward until he landed on his butt.
He whimpered as he rubbed his face. \"Sheesh! Talk about your bad days!\"
Vegeta smirked. \"Sorry about that, Kakarot. You should know better than to spy or sneak up on me.\"
\"I\'ll try to remember that next time,\" he said followed by a nervous laugh.
Vegeta sat across from Goku on the ground. \"What\'s this you say about bad days?\"
\"Chi Chi\'s mad at me.\"
\"What else is new?\" Vegeta burst into laughter.
Goku clasped his hands behind his head and laid back against the soft grass. He joined Vegeta in his merriment.
\"If she were here right now--,\" Goku began.
\"We\'d be killed.\" Vegeta brought a gloved hand to wipe away stray tears.
Goku sat up again and wiped his tears away with the heels of his palms. As the last remaining tears slid down his cheeks, he followed up his chuckle with a sigh. He glanced over at Vegeta who was on his back clutching his stomach as he continued to laugh.
\"Shhh... She might hear you and come after you!\"
\"She\'d destroy you first, Kakarot!\"
The two saiyans stared at each other in silence. They broke the silence with howls of delight. Tears once again flowed down their cheeks.
\"I think her hearing is the least of your problems, Kakarot.\"
\"You got that right. She threatened to take away dinner--AND dessert!\" Goku clutched his tummy. \"I\'m hungry,\" he roared.
Vegeta sat up. \"Clown! You and your stomach,\" he grunted. \"I\'m sure that\'s not the only thing she\'ll refuse.\"
A voice echoed in the distance. \"GOKU! DINNER!\"
A nervous laugh shook Goku\'s frame. \"Uh oh! Gotta fly!\"
