Freind or Foe

In an hour they were all there. Akasha told them that
at this current speed, Taltos would reach earth in 6
months.

“He wants me to know he is coming. He’s that arrogant.
And even if he doesn’t he cant hide his power level. I
keep mine hidden all the time which is why none of you
can never sense me even now as we speak. I have a plan
to on how to stop him.” “ Ok, so what’s your plan
Akasha?” Krillin asked while scratching the back of
his bald head. “I’m going to take my ship on an
intercept course to stop him Taltos from reaching the
earth. When I reach him I will fight him there. If all
else fails and I cant stop him…. I will activate the
self-destruck sequence on my ship. The sequence is big
enough to destroy a small planet” “But wait…. Won’t
that kill both of you?” Yamcha asked. “In all
likeliness I would have to say….. Yes.”

No one in the room could speak. They all new Akasha
was serious and that she would be more than willing to
do so.

“I’m not letting you do that Akasha.” Vegeta said,
which shocked everyone.

Vegeta was showing genuine concern for Akasha. He new
he loved her as well as she did. He had finally found
someone who was his family, someone who had the same
blood in their veins as his. He was in love with Goku
and even though he could never bring himself to tell
him or either of them how he felt, he knew that they
knew how he felt.

“Vegeta you have to let me do this it’s my duty and
it’s the only way I can know that he earth is safe as
well as all of you.” “No we can’t let you do this
Akasha, don’t you see…” Goku began. “You are a part of
all of us now and we can’t let you do this alone.
You’ve been alone all your life until now. And we
won’t let you die. We are going to find another way to
defeat him and that’s that.”

Akasha was touched that they all agreed with both of
them and she realized that if she did it any way they
would stop at nothing to stop her. She told them that
if they couldn’t come up with some other way than they
had to let her go with her plan.

They all began to think and discuss their ideas but
they all reached a dead end.

“Hey wait a sec.” Krillin declared. “Ak he he isn’t
going to be hear for 6 moths right?” “Yes, that is if
he keeps going at his present speed.” Akasha answered.
“Ok then why don’t you just train until he gets here
and defeat him here when he arrives?” “Because
Krillin, even if I do there is no real assurance that
I will win. Taltos has some how double his power
level. So that it just matches my own. I don’t know
how but he has. My power doubled when I healed from
the injuries I got from my last battle with him. The
thing is that the Horde’s power level can only go up
with training. Unlike a sayian whose power level
increase every time they heal from near death
injuries. And it wont be enough to just defeat him
this time I have to kill him.”

They all though for a moment.

“I still say that’s what you should do Akasha. If 6
months isn’t enough then you could use the hyperbolic
time chamber to do it.” Krillin said. “Guys I’m
telling you there is no other way.” Akasha said with a
hint of sorrow in her voice.

She got up and walked out. They all new she was going
to her ship to go on with her plan. They were
beginning to follow her but before they walked out
themselves to catch up Vegeta stopped them. He told
them he would talk to her and this shocked them again.
He went after her alone and caught up to her just
before she was about to take off into the air towards
her ship.

“Akasha stop!!!” Vegeta cried out. “You can’t just do
this. We all care about you and we will not let you
kill yourself. Listen to me, I won’t let you go. You
will teach me and Goku and train with us and when
Taltos arrives we will defeat him together. You’re my
sister and I won’t let you kill yourself.”

Akasha was almost to point of tears. She was so happy
to hear this from her brother. She had longed to hear
him say this from the moment she saw him sparing with
Goku. She ran at Vegeta and hugged him. He let her but
did not hug her back, but she knew it was his pride
that wouldn’t let him do so. She agreed to the plan
and stayed on earth. She taught Goku and Vegeta, and
also Piccolo. She taught them many new techniques on
how to channel there power in different ways and there
power levels increased but Akasha’s power level was
still way too much for them to hope for in such a
short time. They spent every moment they could in
training. Finally, as the months went by it was the
night before the coming battle and…..
