Dragonball: Unforgotten
Chapter One Hundred and Five
“That’s a bold faced lie and you know it,” you said with a hint of heat in your tone as you stared at Goku.
He had the audacity to proclaim that you always used to let him shower with you. Right in front of Gohan and Trunks nonetheless. While you didn’t care nearly as much that Trunks had heard such a lie you couldn’t say the same thing about Gohan. You cared a great deal that Goku was, most likely on purpose, spreading false information right in front of your boyfriend. He didn’t even look that upset that you called him out on his lie. He grinned and shifted his weight from one foot to the other, taking a great deal of weight off of one of his feet.
“But you really liked it that one time we did, remember?” Goku continued. “I helped you scrub down that time and you liked that.”
You had no clue if the red on your face was from embarrassment or anger. All you knew was that you couldn’t believe Goku. It had been a couple of days since he’d come back from the dead, a rocky couple of days, and he was still pulling stunts like this. He kept reminding you of things you’d done with him at the worst time possible in the most suggestive of ways. And he’d always have an innocent face on while doing it too. As though he had no notion of how much tension he was causing.
You clenched your teeth as you gripped on to the towel you brought with you. You could hear the tension of the fibers as you wrung your hands. Without thinking of too much of a retort, you simply grabbed Gohan whom had been standing beside his father, trying not to let his jealousy get the better of him, and pulled him into the bathing chamber with you.
You needed to prove a point to Goku before the ship landed on Earth but so far it hadn’t been going so well. You hoped that the bold choice of pulling Gohan in with you would finally get it across. Only problem was that when you went to close the door behind you, Goku wouldn’t stand for it. His hand was between the door and the doorframe. Gohan didn’t even have a chance to get to the door to help you close it before Goku so innocently broke it off its hinges.
“Whoops,” Goku said with his version of a guilt filled voice.
You’d long since let go of the door of course. He’d pulled it out of your hands when he pulled it off the hinges. And you watched as he awkwardly put it down. As he did so you practically growled, the sound ripping through your throat in the place of words.
“Goku…”
“Yeah?” Goku asked as he finally stopped messing with the door.
“Run.”
His eyes widened. If there was one thing he had learned from his years with Chichi it was that messing with a female’s bathing time was not a good idea. He had effective lunch done messed with your shower by breaking the door. Goku looked from you to the door and then back again. If you were a dragon you’d be breathing fire by this point.
And so he backed away with his hands up in a form of surrender. Gohan, whom had been silent thought this, finally spoke up once his dad was out of sight.
“You took a shower with him?”
His voice was steady as he tried to keep calm. There was tension in his question and his body. He knew that you were angry but he needed an answer at the same time. There had been once or twice this last week when you’d gone off to shower and a Goku hadn’t been in the training room - the memories of those moments had rushed back into his head when his father had been talking. Gohan wanted to believe that you wouldn’t cross that line, that you wouldn’t let his father help you bathe, but he needed to be reassured of that fact. After all you had apparently told Goku that he couldn’t sleep with you anymore and yet Goku had been at the head of yours and his bed the whole week. What other things did you consider little and let slide?
“Not now Gohan,” you said with gritted teeth.
You weren’t angry at him. You were angry with Goku more than anything. It was just that all that anger continued to fester inside of you with an aggressive storm. Your mind fixated on all of that emotion and wouldn’t let go. You just knew better than to try to have a conversation while you were pissed off; even if it was with an innocent party going into a talk mad wasn’t a great idea.
“I think I deserve to know.”
“Later.”
You needed to calm down first. Unfortunately you couldn’t use the shower as a conduit for that. At least not without worrying about Trunks, Broly, and Goku walking and seeing more than you wanted them to see. Training room was also out - the boys were up there in a gravity that might not be safe in your condition. Which just left throwing yourself on the bed (which was returned to the bedroom every morning) till your temper cooled. When Gohan reaches out to stop you from walking away so that you and he could talk, you struggled against him. Gohan tried to still you but when you’d reached around to slap him, practically hissing, he let go in surprise. You stormed away as Gohan held his cheek.
Later you’d feel horrible about doing that but at that point you really didn’t care. You didn’t want to be around Gohan at that point either. Which was exactly Goku’s plan, not that you knew that. He remembered what you told him about getting too angry or embarrassed and used that knowledge to his advantage.
