Duo felt as though he*d slept on moments when he felt a wet sensation in his ear and something firm pressing against his ass. "Hm. Not now Heero it*s too early." He felt Heero*s lips turn up in a smirk.
Slowly opening his eyes Duo smiled and pressed back against Heero*s groin in a teasing manner.
"Your such a horny thing Heero. You are absolutely horrible." Duo gasped as there was a sucking of his ear lobe and the husky whisper of "Dragon*s tend to have a large stamina. Plus your too sexy for me not to be aroused by you."
"Mm. I bet you say that to everyone you want to lay."
Turning over onto his back Duo stared up into sapphire sparkling eyes as he pulled Heero slowly down for a kiss.
Heero groaned at the feel of peddle lips upon his own. His arms tightened around Duo waist as he pressed himself down fully on top of the boy. Their lips continued to move together until Duo pulled away to gasp as Heero*s hand found its way up inside his dress.
"He..Heero."
With a wicked grin Heero continued to fondle the beautiful boy as he shifted Duo*s dress up to pool around his waist. In a quick motion the small under garment Duo was wearing was removed by Heero, who didn*t waste time in swooping down and taking the long haired humans shaft into his mouth.
Duo screamed loudly and yanked up clumps of grass and dirt as Heero pleased him. It felt so unbelievably good to have someone touch him there. Duo sat up with a pained gasp when Heero*s teeth scraped over the sensitive organ that was in his mouth.
"Heero that hurt!"
Heero simply moaned around Duo and shivers ran up his spine. "Mmm!"
When Duo*s release hit Heero didn*t remove him from his mouth until he had swallowed every last drop. Duo laid in the grass unmoving as the dragon-youth put his undies back on and straightened the dress before asking.
"Feeling all right?"
Duo simply nodded but blinked when he finally realized that it was still dark out
"Why is it that you got me up just to do that Heero? I*m tired now."
"I broke the wheel," he said, "so that it would look as though the wood had been stressed then patched while Trieze was making it."
"Yes," Duo said, for this was what they had decided earlier. "Fine. Good night."
He pulled Duo into a sitting position. "It*s almost dawn. And I brought these." He dropped a handful of rags onto his lap.
It took a moment for him to realize that what in the dim light looked like black patches was in fact blood. He flinched and Heero*s grip tightened. "I*m awake," he assured him. If he was going to claim to be injured, it only made sense to have bandages that supported that claim. Still, he didn*t ask where the blood had come from; and Heero didn*t say. He just sat there staring at him.
The blood was still wet, though it had gone cold and sticky. Gingerly he draped one of the clothes of his head and around his chin, inwardly cringing at the touch of it against his cheek.
"Tighter," Heero advised. "You don*t want it to sag, or they*ll see that there*s unbroken skin beneath." He took over, then sat back and evaluated his handiwork. He must have been satisfied, though he*d never have guessed from his face, because Heero picked up another cloth and began to wrap it around the knuckles of his right hand.
From between teeth wich were clenched together from the tightness of the knot, Duo said, "I can*t talk." Even he couldn*t make out his own words.
"What?"
Duo loosened the head cloth. "It*s too tight. I can*t talk."
Heero pulled it up tight again. "You don*t need to be able to talk. You only need to be able to breathe. You CAN breathe, can*t you?"
"Just barely." The words sounded garbled to him, and Duo doubted whether Heero understood. But apparently the fact that he was neither turning purple nor falling over onto his side and twitching satisfied him that he was getting enough air.
"If you talk," Heero said, "somebody might recognize your voice."
Duo sighed, knowing he was right.
"If you sigh around other people as much as you sigh around me, somebody is bound to recognize that too."
Duo blushed brightly.
They reached the outskirts of St. Toby*s as the edge of the sky began to turn pink. Some of the villagers would be just getting up, Duo knew, though nobody was out and about yet. Heero was carrying Duo piggyback while dragging the damaged wheel. In front of Trieze*s Heero banged on the door, much louder than necessary to rouse just Trieze*s household. "Wheelwright!" he bellowed.
The door flung open, and there was Trieze, holding a candle to see what commotion was, looking as furious as a water doused cat. At the sight of him Duo grip tightened around Heero and he was quite glad that he was not standing at the moment.
"What*s all this?" he demanded, looking straight at Duo.
Duo realized that he was breathing loudly, stopped, remembered that he was supposed to be hurt and that great wheezing breaths might be mistaken for exhaustion as well as panic, and resumed with a ragged intake of air.
"That wheel you sold us broke," Heero said, still overly loud. "My sister Yui, here, has been injured."
Behind Trieze, Relena and Une hovered in the doorway.
"My wheels don*t break," Trieze said.
Duo heard another villager*s door open nearby and saw Trieze glance shift to the left.
"Like hell they don*t! The wheel fucking broke!" Heero shouted. "Just looked at my poor sister. This town was closer than our farm, so we came back here."
Yet another door opened a crack.
"Just"-Trieze held his hands out, indicating there was no need for excitement in front of witnesses- "come inside."
Still glaring darkly at Trieze, Heero shifted Duo a bit as if trying to make him comfortable.
Trieze shoved his daughter in the direction of the wheel Heero had thrown to the ground.
"Get that thing indoors," he commanded between clenched teeth.
Duo let Heero carry him across the floor of the living are to the bed. Trieze looked pretty sour about that, but Une lit a candle from the low-burning night-fire, and brought it over.
Compassionate soul that she was, Relena made a disgusted face and put her back to them to get breakfast started. *Like your some kind of gem. Ugly little scut face.* Duo thought bitterly.
With an _expression that matched her daughter*s, Une nodded towards Duo*s head and said, "That probably needs a fresh bandage."
"No!" Duo mumbled-cried. He couldn*t be sure anybody understood him, and he flinched away.
"No," Heero said quietly. "My sister trusts only me and we had a terrible time getting the bleeding to stop. It*s probably best to leave the wound alone."
For all that she*d gotten closer than her daughter had, Une looked relieved. "If you think that*s best." she murmured.
*Oh for heaven*s sake,* Duo thought at the worshipful _expression on the older woman*s face. * *If you think that*s best.* Who does she think she*s fooling?*
"Never saw anything like this happen to one of my wheel*s before," Trieze said, examining the wheel by the light of the fire.
"Well," Heero said charitably, "it can*t be helped now. We*re just lucky we weren*t both killed when the cart tipped into the ditch."
"Oh my!" Une said breathlessly, never glancing away from Heero, not even to the wheel.
Slowly Heero looked up from Duo, flat on his back on Trieze and Une*s bed, and met Une*s gaze. Even from this awkward position Duo could see his smile was dazzling. He groaned and burrowed deeper into the mattress. * I can*t stand to watch this!*
"Ill make a new wheel for you," Trieze said, heading for the workshop.
After he was gone, Heero said, "I should be going."
"What?" Duo cried, his voice muffled by the bandages.
"Must you leave?" Une asked.
Heero took Une*s hand and held it gently between his own and Duo flared with jealousy.
With a look so sincere Duo wanted to choke, he said, "After the accident, Yui and I just left the care upturned in the ditch by the road, with the ox tethered so it could graze a bit without wondering off. I need to return it to the farm and make sure everything*s all right there. Could you please watch over my sister until this evening?"
"Certainly," Une said, which Duo knew only meant that she wanted to see Heero again.
Between clenched teeth, Duo hissed, "Don*t you dare leave me behind."
"What did she say?" Une was gazing at Heero in a dreamy sort of way.
"He said you*re much too kind," Heero said, still looking deep into Une*s eyes. "And you are. You*re very kind."
Une modestly looked away. "I do what I can," she whispered.
Duo was tempted to demand, "Since when?" Instead he waited for Heero to once again lean over him.
"I*ll be back as soon as I can, Tasuki." He gently patted his shoulder.
With his supposed "good" hand, he grabbed a handful of shirt and , as distinctly as possible, whispered, "I*ll get you for this."
"What did she say?" Une asked.
"I don*t know." Heero turned and gazed at her sincerely.
"After that knock on the head, she hadn*t been making much sense lately. I think you just need to leave her along all day- let her rest."
"Don*t do this to me," Duo begged.
Without a word, he straightened, kissed Une*s hand, and left.
Duo had a flashback of Dorothy and did a full body cringe. *Ahhh! No! Remove yourself from my mind right this very moment! EWWW!*
