Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Edward looked up at Alphonse from the bathroom floor, “Nii-san are you ok?” Alphonse wondered coming to his side and rubbed his back.
“Yeah I am just fine why wouldn’t I be fine!” Edward demanded collecting himself swiftly and pulled his black pants up and snapped them and buckled them. Then he clapped his hands and held his hands over the chocolate and cleaned it up with Alchemy. “There all damn clean come on Alphonse I need to make this up to Roy for smashing his chocolates he grabbed his wrist and dragged him from the men’s room.
“Ok, ok Nii-san I am coming I am coming” Alphonse’s honey golden hair flew behind him as Ed rushed with him out into the main block outside of the building. The side walk was in front of the building they headed for the candy shop Alphonse knew he liked candy so he wouldn’t be upset. Or so Edward thought to himself.
Roy was back inside fuming mad at Edward and his outrages behavior he was glaring down at the paper in front of him but wasn’t reading it or taking heed to it. Roy didn’t think Edward learned just yet how important it was not to act like they were together and look what the hell he did he thought. Roy had his elbow on the desk with his forehead leaning against the palm of his hand.
He was tapping his pen on the desk not really caring about the stupid paper work anymore. It had been hours now at least three hours he had filled out about five he was on his sixth there was so many more papers to be signed. “Sir,” Hawkeye finally spoke up breaking the twenty minutes of silences they had since Roy handed her his last signed document.
Roy would have shouted holy hell with the fright Hawkeye had just given him for suddenly talking even if she had been there the whole time. Roy was lost in thought, “What is it Riza?” Roy wondered since they were in private he’d call her Riza since they were friends.
“Well I just thought maybe you could use a lunch break its noon an all,” Hawkeye said being some what caring now he had been sitting there for three hours barely doing nothing it was madding. “I mean if you need to clear your mind you should go ahead and do that. No need to over stress yourself you know.”
“Hmn yeah a lunch break dose sound good but I am not eating the shitty food here.” Roy sneered at the thought of it.
“That is fine sir,” Riza shrugged to the child like man in her eyes even if he was Colonel he was so childish at times she thought or most of the time.
Roy stood up happily and put his nice pen back in his jacket pocket and walked to the coat rack and picked up his jacket. As he slid it on he heard a knocking at the door it sounded like Fullmetal of course he was the only one to have a metal fist so it was easy to tell.
Roy’s eye twitched and he walked toward the door and opened it “Fullmetal had I not told you I’d toast your…” Roy stopped and was faced with a eight foot tall pure chocolate bunny with a pink bow tie and blue buttons. “Ah Hell I am snapping finally there is a huge chocolate bunny in front of me do you see this to Hawkeye?” Roy wondered pointing to the chocolate bunny looking over his shoulder.
“Your not crazy Colonel I bought you the chocolate to make up for what I did,” Edward was sitting on the bench that was on the wall to the right hand side. Al and Ed were sitting there and Ed even had a box of chocolates.
Roy sighed Ed still didn’t get it, he walked around the chocolate, “Fullmetal it wasn’t about the chocolates and I am not accepting this, you always have do everything all big and flashy anyways. “
Edward got mad when Roy wouldn’t take his gift, “you asshole!” Edward said up set already “I got you the best chocolates around and am trying to apologize I know what I did was wrong alright so take them this was costly!”
“Fullmetal don’t talk to me like that or you’ll find yourself being the one to sign my paper work for the next month with a sore and stinging rear end” Roy said in a menacing tone. “Now leave me alone I am going to eat in peace if you don’t mind” Roy then walked down the hallway and out to the right hand side toward the side doors.
Edward huffed “That bastard,” he said lowly to Roy he didn’t want to get paper work either how could he just brush him off like that it hurt his feelings he thought to himself.
“Well Ed maybe you should just leave the Colonel alone you know if he told you to you should.” Alphonse said reasonably.
“Yeah but what the hell am I suppose to do with all this Chocolate!?” Edward wondered looking over at the huge Chocolate bunny that would collect dust and melt soon too probably.
“Well I love chocolates so I’ll take the box of chocolates maybe we could get the bunny hauled over to our dorm?” Alphonse suggested he’d eat that too. ”though probably should break it down and put it in the fridge so it doesn’t get bad or stale in the air.”
“Well geez Al looks like we got that all figured out,” Ed smirked and they broke chocolate down with Alchemy. They took it to their dorm then Al and Edward went to the park and were sitting on a bench looking out at the ducks eating the chocolates together they were pretty damn good he thought.
