~~flashback~~
A couple days later, a tense atmosphere came about the human and God whenever they were in the same room. It was mainly how Kakarot was acting and how much Vegeta was restraining himself. Kakarot couldn’t help but feel awkward and act distant towards the other and Vegeta was being understanding and giving him his space. At the same time, Vegeta couldn’t help but panic at this new behavior from His fated one. What if he eventually drove himself away from Vegeta and decided to actually leave Him? Is what He is doing wrong? Should He be doing something to convince the other to stay with Him? What should He do? Surely it’s obvious, but at the same time, Vegeta felt foolish for not seeing it.They hardly spoke through these last couple days and when they did, it was always tense and awkward that Vegeta avoided any type of conversation. What was going wrong? Vegeta thought of the few short years that He and Kakarot have been together, and then thought of the six years that Kakarot wasted in searching for Him. He almost felt guilty for leaving. He shouldn’t have left like that. He should’ve heard Kakarot’s side first before He thought about leaving. Instead, He avoided the very thing that He feared…rejection. He figured if He left before Kakarot could get the chance to do just that, then He wouldn’t regret ever pursuing the young man in the first place. Now…He wasn’t so sure what to do to make up for it. Suddenly, He felt like He was in the way, like He was a giant waste of time in Kakarot’s short life…and He was. Odd. He’s never felt this way before in His entire existence. Why is He feeling it now? It could be because He did what He wasn’t supposed to do and that was leaving the other. All that time wasted. Each day that goes by brings Kakarot’s death sooner. He couldn’t wait around anymore. He had to do something.
“Vegeta? Is something bothering You?” Kakarot just entered the room with food and saw the God staring intently at the wall across from Him. As if it was the cause of all His problems.
Vegeta blinked a couple times before focusing His gaze on the young man in front of Him then sighed and looked away. “Yes.”
Kakarot gave Him a look before setting down his things and taking a seat in front of the powerful being. “What is it?”
Vegeta sighed again, thinking He shouldn’t even tell the other, but if it’ll help to get them to move in another direction…any direction, then He will. “I feel so…useless.”
Kakarot raised a brow. “What do You mean?”
Vegeta shrugged. “I just feel…restless and at the same time, I feel like we’ve hit a block in our relationship.”
Kakarot leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms. “Probably because we don’t really have a relationship yet. We’re just…here. There’s nothing to build anything on or anything to move on to. We should probably start at the beginning if we want this to work.”
Vegeta sent him a scowl. “Why do I get the feeling that I’m the only one that wants this to work? You’ve been so distant lately, I can’t tell if you really meant what you said or you’re just pulling my leg because you feel sorry for me.”
Kakarot looked surprised. “What are You talking about? Of course I want this to work. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t. I didn’t HAVE to spend six years of my life to find You. I could’ve went on with my life and started a family then You wouldn’t even be a thought in my head.”
It was Vegeta’s turn to be surprised. That was actually quite…harsh. “Well, SORRY for being a waste of your time! Why didn’t you move on then, huh? Were you too afraid to because I wasn’t around anymore to protect you? Did you need someone to point you in the right direction or were you just too afraid to live your life?” Vegeta was standing up now, towering over the other.
Kakarot stood as well. “Of course I was afraid! You took me out of my village, the only home I had! A place that I’ve been in all my life and You took that comfort away from me! Of course the only protection I had was You, the only person I felt safe with, safer than the people in my own village. Then, You just up and left me! How else did You expect me to take that? I didn’t know whether or not You would return and I felt more helpless than ever. You were the only friend I had…and You left me, like You didn’t care or didn’t feel the same way. Of course I had to find You. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life wondering what could’ve been and I couldn’t get the biggest mystery out of my head! What were You? What did I have before it was taken from me? Will I ever find better? All these questions frightened me and at the same, I had to answer them. I had to find You.”
Vegeta stood motionless for a good few minutes with His eyes wide before words finally came to Him. “Kakarot I’m…I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you felt that way. You never told me, but I was scared too. I was afraid you’d fear and reject me, like all the others in the past. I just…I just wasn’t ready to face that. I…I had to leave.” He paused for a moment then regained His bearings before speaking again more seriously. “No, I needed to. If you think about it, it wasn’t that selfish of me. You needed to be out on your own, Kakarot. You needed to be where you couldn’t rely on me all the time. You needed to build upon the strength that you started in your village and expand it in the world and learn how to survive. I…just hope you learned something while you did.”
Kakarot stood in silence before he spoke. “I…guess I haven’t thought of that. Still, You have to at least agree that leaving just like that was somewhat cruel. You didn’t teach me much and I felt more alone and helpless than ever. I…I didn’t know if I could’ve moved on. In fact, I didn’t. I had to find You and I did and I’m not letting You leave again.” Kakarot ended with determination in his voice.
Vegeta hesitantly took his hand in His. “I told you, I’m not going anywhere, not unless you want me to and yes. I do agree that leaving like that was a bit harsh, but that’s all a part of life. Unexpected things happen. Whether they are things you don’t want to happen or didn’t wish to happen or things that you would like to or did happen. It’s all part of the experience. In a way, I wanted you to live a while without me, just to see if it was any better than being with me.” He looked at him sadly.
Kakarot took a step closer and placed a hand on the God’s cheek. “It wasn’t. It was boring and uneventful. Chasing You was like chasing a dream I could never have. Even now, it’s almost hard to believe You’re here.” With that, he moved forward and placed a kiss on heated and soft lips.
Vegeta slowly returned the gesture then pulled away after a moment. “So, does this mean you forgive me?”
Kakarot didn’t remove his hand as a smile slowly spread across his face. “Yes. However, don’t expect me to if You do something like that again. Okay?”
After a moment, Vegeta returned the smile with hooded eyes and nodded before starting another kiss with the other. It was slow and hot and neither of the two wanted it to end and it didn’t until a few minutes later. They stared at each other in tense fascination until Vegeta spoke. “Come on. Let’s get out of this town. I know a better place that’s more secluded, if you’re interested.”
Kakarot nodded. “Sure. I’m up for a new location.”
Vegeta smiled excitedly. “Then get packed. I’ll meet you outside when you’re ready.” He stared at him a moment longer then left the room.
Kakarot smiled after Him before turning back to his untouched food.

Kakarot shivered as he clung tighter to the God who held him. He tried to shield his face from the freezing wind by burying it in the other’s chest, but wanted to see where they were headed. He looked at his silent companion and voiced the obvious. “Are we there yet? My arms are asleep and the rest of me is freezing.”
Vegeta chuckled. “I told you it’s secluded. Also, it’s on the other side of the continent and yes, we’re almost there.”
“The other side of the continent?! Woa!” Kakarot looked around them a little more in awe as they flew over the land at a fast pace. “A day hasn’t even gone by and we’re almost on the other side of the continent?!” He looked at the God in astonishment. “How come You didn’t do this in the beginning? We could’ve saved a lot of time.”
Vegeta smirked. “I didn’t want to frighten you even more than you already were. Besides, you’d start up with the questions again.”
Kakarot blushed lightly. “Oh, right.”
After a few more minutes, Vegeta shouted over the wind. “There it is. The castle of Turles Cortes.”
Kakarot looked ahead to see the vast castle rise over the horizon. It was enormous. Bigger than any building that he’s seen. They landed in front of the stone building as they looked up at the giant structure. “Wow.” Kakarot whispered. “So…what’s-his-name is going to let us stay here?”
Vegeta chuckled lightly before explaining. “No. He doesn’t live here anymore. It’s abandoned. Turles died many years ago, but I’ve been taking care of the place…when I can.”
Kakarot looked from Vegeta to the castle again in awe. “Wow. You sure pick the spots.”
Vegeta looked at the structure in nostalgia and sadness. He said nothing as He advanced towards the worn decorative door and opened it. He looked back at Kakarot who watched Him. He gestured inside by inclining His head. “Come on. I ensure you that most of it is intact. However, there are wears and tears in some places. As you can see, the closest town is miles away.”
Kakarot nodded after a moment and followed Vegeta inside. When they entered, a grand staircase with red carpet greeted them with an immeasurably high ceiling above it. It was something to behold. Furniture still remained, however, they looked like they were more for show now instead of serving their purpose. “So, who was this Turles?” He looked to Vegeta for an answer, who wondered the halls as if he’d been there a hundred times…and he probably has.
“He was a conqueror, a conquistador. He conquered the Aztec nation and was known as a God in their culture. He was also of nobility, which the castle, I believe, speaks for itself.” Vegeta explained in an even tone as His hand brushed a small bronze statue sitting on a pedestal against the wall. Kakarot couldn’t tell what kind of metal it was since it appeared rusted.
“Right.” He gave Vegeta a look. “Have You…been here before Vegeta?”
Vegeta stopped His advance down the hallway and sighed solemnly. “Yes…once upon a time.”
After a moment, Kakarot seemed to get the picture and went to stand next to the God’s side. “Do You want to tell me about it?”
Vegeta looked at Kakarot in scrutiny before looking up at the decorative ceiling. A story of angels and man were painted on the worn material and gold trimmed the edges of the structure of the ceiling. “I was a general for a war that was taken place close to where it is now. I arranged an audience with Tora’s son, Radditz, since he was my fated at the time.”
Kakarot looked at the being in surprise before it turned to pity. He looked down at Vegeta’s hand then and gently took a hold of it. “I’m sorry, Vegeta. You don’t have to tell me, if you don’t want to.”
Vegeta looked down at their entwined hands and clenched the younger’s hand in His and shook His head slightly. “It’s alright. You deserve to know.” Kakarot said nothing as he waited for Him to continue with His tale. “Actually, that was my real reason for coming here, but my excuse was talking Tora into enlisting some of his men in helping me with the war; even though his help wasn’t actually needed.”
Kakarot clenched His hand tighter. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to hear the story, but if he was going to be with Vegeta, he needed to carry some of the burden. “What was he like?”
Vegeta sighed in what seemed like exhaustion as He ran a hand through His hair and stared out the window down the hall. “He was stubborn and didn’t take no for an answer. At first, I was beginning to wonder how innocent he was…”
~~ Radditz pulled the other on top of him as he lied back on his plush bed. He moaned into the general’s hot mouth while hastily trying to remove the formal attire off of Him. He wanted to see what the man had to offer. Vegeta moaned back; somewhat surprised in how quickly things were progressing. After a few minutes of dominating one another, Vegeta pulled back so the other may regain his breathing. “But your highness, I only came to speak with you about how your troops may aid us in the war.” He smirked.
Radditz smirked in return and tore off the general’s shirt. “There’s plenty of time for that. Life is short and it’s not getting any longer with that predicament in the east. So,” He sat up until their nose’s touched then ripped open the front of the other’s pants, “fuck me so that I may die with no regrets.” He kissed Vegeta again before moving over to His jaw then down to His neck, shoulder, collar bone, then chest.
Vegeta closed His eyes to the wonderful sensation and grinned. “Are you saying your life will be complete if I take you?” He buried a hand in those long locks and nuzzled into him a bit.
However, Radditz didn’t notice the other’s attention as he continued to leave his marks on Him. “Yes.” He breathed onto His skin. “You are…the most…beautiful creature…I’ve seen…yet.” He answered in between licks, nibbles, and kisses.
Vegeta chuckled before grabbing a handful of the younger’s hair and pulling him back to look into lust-filled eyes. He panted at the sight as He lightly ran a thumb on the royal’s lower lip. “Is that all?”
Radditz’s lust turned to annoyance. “Look, if You’re wanting something more, then You’re with the wrong man.” He pulled back a bit only to grab a hold of what was left of the general’s shirt and pulled Him on the bed beside him so that he may straddle His waist. “However, that won’t stop me from having my fun with You.” Radditz removed his own clothing, gloves, and whatever else that would be in the way and went back to stripping down the older.
Vegeta’s features softened at his chosen’s words, but became stern at his actions. He grabbed a hold of the royal’s wrists before he could remove His pants completely. “If that’s the case, then you should gain your release elsewhere.” He said sincerely.
Radditz growled. “How dare You! I am a noble!” He grabbed a fistful of Vegeta’s hair in return and lifted Him off the bed and towards his face. “If I tell You to jump off a bridge, You do it! If I tell You to kill a hundred men, You do it! And when I tell You to fuck me, You do it!” With that he brutally kissed Him to back up his demands. After a moment, He pushed Him back on his bed and smirked seductively. “If these demands aren’t met, then I will have to take them by force.”
As soon as he finished his last word, he ended up on his back before he could blink. His hands were pinned on either side of his head and he had a growling general in his face. “You may take anything you want, but you WON’T take me! I’ll see to it that your brains are so completely fucked out of your skull, you’ll be brain damaged for the rest of eternity!” Radditz whimpered at the sincerity of His words and shivered at the tone. After seeing his reaction, Vegeta felt some sort of revenge and smirked. “If you really want me, then you’ll have to earn me.” The noble panted at the imagery of the other’s words. However, Vegeta didn’t expect the reaction from him when He felt the other’s need jabbing against Him. Vegeta looked down briefly in disbelief before turning His attention to the blushing face below Him. “Are you enjoying my threats?”
Radditz’s lust-filled gaze returned as he attempted to push his hips against Him. “It’s one of my many weaknesses.”
Vegeta smirked at first then began to chuckle. His chuckle then turned into maniacal laughter. Radditz didn’t know whether to be offended or pissed off. After a few minutes, Vegeta settled down before returning His smirk to the royal below. “You humans are quite strange. Just when I thought I knew everything about you, each one I meet seems to prove me wrong.” He stroked the other’s cheek before becoming serious again. “Unfortunately, this meeting must wait. You are not ready for me yet.” He slid off of him then tried to salvage what was left of His clothes.
Radditz sat up in bed in his rage. “What?! You can’t leave me like this!”
Vegeta didn’t look at him as He closed His pants. “I can and will. It seems you need to learn more about me before we progress any further. After all, I wasn’t expecting such a quick start. If you truly want me or still want me after this, then you must show me how much.” He turned to him then with His tattered shirt.
“Wh-What are You talking about?” The noble was perplexed.
Vegeta narrowed His eyes. “I am more than just a general, my Lord.” He added his title mockingly. “If you wish to know what that is, then you know where to find me.” With that, He left the noble’s room.
Radditz went to follow Him and demand answers, but as soon as he exited his room, the man was nowhere to be found.~~
Vegeta turned His attention to a blushing Kakarot and smirked slightly. “Am I making you uncomfortable?”
Kakarot coughed slightly then shook his head. “It’s alright. I asked for this.” He turned his attention back to the other. “I thought You said You’re supposed to be with someone who’s pure?”
Vegeta nodded. “Yes. Even though he didn’t act like it, the only thing pure about him was that he couldn’t kill another.”

Okay, so I totally ripped off the name because it was friggin hard to find good surnames and I just grabbed this one. Yeah I did research, but don’t expect what I write in here to be true. I made most of it up. However, I did base some of the history off of an actual conquistador, Hernando Cortes. I changed the first name because I think it sounded odd when his ‘son’s’ name was Raditz…even though his first name is Tora…alright sue me okay? I don’t know why I chose Spanish, I just did. >.>
