So happy to get this chapter up- it's a huge turning point in the story, the timelines will start to fit together a little bit more now, I hope.
To Cara9001: Thank you, I'm glad you're happy with it! This chapter should be good for you, too, I hope.
To kit-kit: Yes, they will have their troubles :) all relationships do, but I still hope to keep your interests.
To ct_sama: I didn't want to respond to you on your page about my story so I waited until I posted this chapter. Thank you! I'm happy to have caught your interest. It's nice to hear where you're coming from, being a researcher and having to stick to facts rather than tending to blurry lines, it makes a lot of sense. For myself, it helps me learn when I read other's works, too. If you have talent, you have talent, and you do, so it won't be anything I'll have to "bear with," but rather enjoy. On a side note, I do try to make OC's believable and either likable or hateable, so, again, I'm happy that's getting across. Thank you so much for reading!
Thank you to everyone who reads this
Enjoy!

::: Fire, Fire! :::
Jeremel stood on the stage, mic in front of him, eating up all the anticipation the crowd was feeding him. There was such a gasp for air within the room that it seemed oxygen was leaving it altogether, but not everyone was aware of Jeremel's foreboding words. He is the center of attention and as he spoke Goku sensed a disturbance in Vegeta unlike he'd felt in years.
He thus began, slowly and clearly, "I am Jeremel, the only one left of the race called Demuhar, many of you know this and many of you know me!" The crowd wasn't sure whether to laugh or remain silent and for some reason they chose the later. Jeremel's smirk was foul as he continued, "But you don't know the half of it-"
Demuhar.. Demuhar... Vegeta thought, trying to figure out where he knew that race.
"-We are brought here to say goodbye completely to the reign of Frieza, to clear the name of Prince Vegeta, and to honor Goku. Well, I think we've done that," Some people laughed. Jeremel still smiled and said, "So, now I'd like to give a little bit more background to my connection with the Saiyan's history, because I have a special announcement."
Vegeta was growling lowly by now, expecting the worst, but willing to let him play out his little plan.
"The late King Vegeta was a proud man, a man I once called a friend. The Saiyan's were Freiza's favorites, even though it was generally well known that King Vegeta never cared much for Frieza. After giving away the young Prince Vegeta to the overlord, the King began to grow more anxious to please him, out of fear of losing his son and heir. His attempt in battle with the lizard, however, caused his fall.
"Now, I'll admit something that I've never publicly voiced before. I had a problem with the late king," Some people gasped as he went on to say, "Many, in fact, and one of my problems with the him is that he did everything Frieza asked, to a fault. Faults such as continually losing friendship after friendship during time of war from races who wanted to work with the Saiyans. See, despite manifold kingly qualities, King Vegeta was not the type of man who worked well with others."
People of the gathered party now began to hope Jeremel was telling one long joke. He couldn't possibly be slighting the Prince of Saiyans at a party hosted for his honor. Renjiamori, on the other hand, knew trouble was coming quickly and astonishment and anger sat with him as he listened to Jeremel become more heated in his speech. Vegeta remained silent in his brooding as Goku grew anxious.
"Even so, he and I became close friends over the years and, in that friendship, I made a promise to him before he died. I have since fulfilled that promise by seeing to it that his son became a free man. I did it for him. Now I am free of my chains and so I will do this for me," Jeremel had seemed so serious for a moment but gave way to chuckling a little bit as murmuring rippled through the crowd. He explained, "It is time for me to proclaim my purpose- King Vegeta crossed me in a way I cannot forgive! He single-handedly killed off my race and I will no longer let that crime go unpunished!"
The crowd sat stunned, as though he'd said it too fast and no one was sure they understood. He let them have their moment of concern and forethought before his voice projected loud and strong, looking Vegeta dead in the eyes, "After all these years, after you thought you had hope of leading a normal life, I will leave you with nothing, just like your father gave me hope before taking it all away!"
Renjiamori stood up and yelled at Jeremel, unwilling to hear what he had to say, "You shame yourself Jeremel!" He began to run to the stage to take over and Goku had a split second to consider how fast he was. Vegeta followed him just as quickly. He grabbed onto his arm before Amori could climb the stairs, fearful of him getting hurt.
Jeremel had no problem following their movements, he had already begun to power up, and he grinned an evil grin as he pledged, "I will go to Earth and I will destroy it! I will destroy your home and it will be like it never existed!"
Goku's head throbbed. He was having deja vu, he saw Vegeta and Renjiamori standing together at the bottom of the stairs, eyes glued on Jeremel. He heard people screaming in terror, shock, and disgust. He stood up as he heard Jeremel's speech clearly now.
He was saying, "I will begin a new era of destruction into the universe, more terrible than Frieza. I will be unstoppable! You can do nothing but watch and wait on me! Neither of the two most powerful men, the men who conquer death, will be there to do anything about it!"
As he was speaking, Vegeta jumped forward, trying to get onto the stage but a barrier shocked him and he had to withdraw. Renjiamori was still crying out at Jeremel trying to get through to him, but only Jeremel's voice was heard over the speaker in a room full of screams.
"You will live a free man as promised and you will regret every day of it!"
Goku Instant Transmissioned to him, foregoing the barrier, but the moment he got to him, Jeremel disappeared.
"VEGETA!" Goku yelled in fury and he ran to him as Vegeta put out his arm, knowing they must go, now. They were gone from the chaos in an instant.
"GOHAN!" Goku hollered, the moment he came back to the Earth, standing but a few yards away from his son, "COME HERE".
"What's up dad?" Gohan asked, shaken by his voice and sudden appearance, he stood up at once.
"NOW!"
Understanding his urgency, he ran to his father even as he noticed Vegeta and some other man that was with them. Luckily he was outside with his family, and not indisposed and so together they left without another word. Videl and Pan stood frightened and alone within an instant.
"PICCOLO!!" Goku bellowed as he arrived swiftly at his sanctuary.
"Do you sense that Goku?!" Piccolo asked, much more to the point than Gohan. He scanned the Saiyans before noticing the third man, confused for a moment, but he remained much more concerned with the immense power level that seemed to appear all at once, and is still growing.
"No time! We have to stop him!"
Piccolo joined their group quickly and Goku concentrated as hard as he could with his panic swept mind. He locked onto him and was off.
The moment they transmitted they came into view of the biggest attack they'd ever seen. It had already been launched towards the Earth. Vegeta shoved Renjiamori back and took off with Goku, powering up to their highest level, and jumping in front of the blast just before it hit the Earth.
"PICCOLO WHAT DO WE DO?!" Gohan yelled in concern for his father and Vegeta as the enormous ball of energy pushed on with more persistence by the second. It looked like they would be crushed beneath it! Gohan had never seen anything so massive or overwhelming.
Piccolo held Gohan back as the ball continued to push forward. He riddled his mind at what to do. Gohan looked to him for answers but he couldn't figure out anything worth a shot. As precious minutes ticked by, he even began to think the task impossible for the two Super Saiyans. He turned to the stranger and saw that his eyes had gone light grey and he didn't seem to be looking at anything. Then Gohan and Piccolo both noticed a significant rise in his energy level, and it kept increasing. They wondered what he was planning.
Amori slowly raised his hands in his meditative state. After a few moments of nothing happening Gohan began to wonder if whatever this man had planned was safe for Vegeta and his father.
He called out to him, "Hey! What are you trying to do?! How can attacking the ball help them?!"
"Get back!" Piccolo commanded and pulled Gohan backwards through the air, closer to him. He has no idea what the stranger will try to do, but he wasn't responding to anything, and Piccolo thought him just as dangerous as the situation before them.
The ball seemed to halt for a moment, and Gohan's heart beat wildly as his hopes rose. Then it seemed the ball was retracting, slowly coming back, as though it was removing itself from the ground it had sunk into and destroyed so fully. The Earth was still cracking under its pressure even as it retreated.
"You're doing it, Dad!" Gohan whispered.
Suddenly Goten and Trunks appeared. Neither Gohan nor Piccolo listened to their questions and exclamations, nor did they answer them. The boys fell to silence quickly as they watched the stranger with a small degree of fascination and the danger ahead of them with dread.
"They're pushing it back!" Trunks finally exclaimed. "Hey, do you guys feel that power level?"
The men realized that there was a source, they guessed they had been temporarily blinded by it because of the immense energy attack, but once they locked onto it, Piccolo flew in for a try at him without hesitation.
Suddenly Renjiamori roared and it seemed that all the energy he'd gathered had left him, but it was no where to be seen. There was no ball of energy, there was no beam or blast, it was just gone.
The Earth shook again, and shot up beneath the ball, where Goku and Vegeta could now be seen struggling to overpower it. The wind began to blow in heavily, swirling and carrying from up high to down low, it rushes towards the enemy's attack and, catching under it, went rising up again, aiding the two men who used it as a catalyst to be rid of the threat all-together, launching it into space.
Amori came to, his eyes now a deep, tired blue, and he heaved, throwing up everything he had in him. Goten went to him and tried to comfort him, though he didn't know what to do or to say to him, he doesn't even know who he is, but it was obvious that he had just helped them.
Piccolo tried to fight the man who'd hidden behind his attack but he was gone before he got to him so he returned to the others.
Goku and Vegeta fell out of their transformations and headed towards the rest of the men they had gathered. Only then did Goku really take into consideration that Renji was amongst them. He didn't know what to think right now. Vegeta grew more and more angry by the moment. So much had just happened he wasn't sure what he should be dealing with first. For one thing, he didn't want to admit how much weaker he had been than that damn assault.
When they finally reached the other men, their children wouldn't stop asking questions, but the first thing either Goku or Vegeta said was not to them, and it didn't answer anything.
Goku asked Renji, "So that was you that helped us?"
"Yes," he nodded, but he looked drained and sick.
"Thank you," Goku nodded back at him. Next he looked at Piccolo and asked, "He disappeared on you, huh?"
"Yes," Piccolo answered.
"He must know some form of Instant Transmission," Goku's anger fumed. He was beside himself.
"What happened?" Piccolo asked, to the point.
Goku licked his lips at first but then finally said, "He's out for the Earth. He wants to destroy it. I have to stop him."
Vegeta wasn't the only one who heard him say "I."
"Why does he want to destroy the Earth?" Trunks asked.
Goku looked at Vegeta.
Vegeta answered begrudgingly, "I've heard of his race, but I didn't know any of the circumstances before today," and he looked at Renjiamori.
Renjiamori said, "I had no idea, Vegeta, I swear I had no idea."
Vegeta asked bitterly, in an attempt to push the attention away from himself, "'Some proof that the two men knew each other'?" using Amori's own words against him.
"Vegeta, if you think for one minute that I wanted this to happen-"
"No," stopping their argument, Goku frowned, not in the mood, and said, "You couldn't have known, and I don't think you would have willingly let this happen." He knew Vegeta didn't really think that Renji would let anything like this happen.
Amori would normally say "Thank you," but the situation doesn't really call for it.
"So? He's a maniac who has something against the Saiyans?" Piccolo guessed. Vegeta sneered but didn't argue the statement. Piccolo turned to the purple elephant of the group and asked, "Who are you?"
Renjiamori straightened his back and cooled his thoughts for a moment before saying, "My name is Renjiamori. I am a friend of Vegeta's."
No one said anything in response to that. Gohan was next to ask, "So where do you think he is, now?" He was most unwilling to have a repeat of what just happened. He said, "We should try to find him before he launches another secret attack."
"I can't sense him at all," Goku admitted, "and besides, that attack wasn't secret. He used Renjiamori's plan in bringing us both to Nartal to his own personal advantage. I don't think he knew that I'd be able to get here in time to stop him, though. He didn't think he'd fail, that's for sure. My hope is that he doesn't have any more energy to spare at the moment, but he's probably coming up with a new plan as we speak and he could be anywhere."
Renji shook his head, confused. He's been in his fair share of battles, but even he could admit he's never seen anything so epic before today. He asked, not yet in too much shock to be curious, "I beg your pardon, but, how did we get here? How did he get here so fast?"
Goku shook his head, "It's a lot to explain right now. I didn't mean for you to come. You should be back on Nartal, where it's safe."
Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta caught some resentment in his tone, but only Vegeta could guess at why it was there. Renji knew all too well Goku's emotions but kept his composure.
Vegeta interrupted impatiently, ignoring Goku's comment about wanting Renjiamori to leave, "Gohan has a point, we should search for him instead of just talking about it."
"No, Vegeta, that's not a going to work right now and you know it."
Vegeta thought of a million things to say but only became angrier and kept silent. Goku was taking over the situation, but something was different about his tactics. He knew he was referring to how powerful Jeremel was, and Vegeta wouldn't admit that he was right. He personally couldn't believe he'd let a race like the Demuhar slip from his memory. This would be no simple task. They needed time to recover and plan out an assault, or at least catch him before he attacks again.
Before Vegeta could come up with something, Renji said, "I want to help in any way I can. This is my fault for not doing more research on Jeremel in the first place."
Goku turned to him and, unable to help himself, he suddenly burst out with, "You have nothing to do with any of this."
Everyone was astonished.
Renji replied in stern resolution, "I do, actually. Don't forget I worked for Frieza's army."
"Why do you care about that so much?" Goku asked. Everyone but Vegeta listened in shock. Vegeta didn't listen for long, though, he left quickly. The fight didn't stop there, though it might have been better if it had.
"I lost everything to Frieza!" Renji started, but suddenly his mood changed as he tried to regain control over himself. He admitted, "You will never understand the anger that drove Jeremel to this. The anger that fed Vegeta's will for decades."
"Vegeta's better than that, now! He uses his anger to defend his home, not to destroy other people's lives! I know you want to help but this isn't your fight. You did what you said you wanted to do and it's only brought up painful memories and your own unchecked emotions-"
"How dare you!?!"
Goku continued, "What are you trying to prove?! That you care about Vegeta more than me?!"
Renji was so flustered, though he looked calm and pensive, it still took him far longer to respond than it normally would have and when he did, all he said was, "You will never know what he means to me."
"I love him!" Goku yelled, surprising himself more than anything, though that's not to say that the shock the of youngest boys wasn't great, indeed.
Finally, after the declaration had settled in for a moment, Renji retorted, "I loved him even when he was a 'bad man.' I'm not going to apologize for what I've done. Or for wanting to see him again, or wanting to help." With that he left, knowing he had no where to go, but he couldn't linger in the air any longer, and he wouldn't continue his embarrassing quarrel with Goku for another moment.
"Dad," Gohan asked, his own heart racing at everything he'd just heard.
Renjiamori's words rang in Goku's ears. He disappeared.
Gohan looked at Piccolo briefly and then turned to the younger boys. He said, before he could convince himself to do otherwise, "You two need to make sure you keep your mouths shut to Mom and Bulma."
Both boys nodded, wondering if Gohan had known about their fathers being in a relationship before.
Piccolo smiled inwardly at Gohan but only mentioned, "One of us should probably go talk to Renjiamori."
"I'll go," Gohan volunteered. He had more personal reasons for wanting to talk to him, he could admit, but he still felt he was the most qualified regardless of the circumstances. He added, "I'll see if he has any ideas about what to do next," and with that he left.
---
Vegeta sought Goku out shortly after he separated from the others, too angry to let his very public argument with Amori go so easily. All at once he came at him, saying, "What the fuck, Kakarot?"
"What do you mean?" Goku asked, not at all at peace with himself, or anyone else at the moment. He is not sure he can continue a conversation with Vegeta of all people right now.
"Was that necessary?!"
"What?" Goku asked again.
Why even argue with him? Vegeta fumed, "We have bigger problems on our hands!"
"Renjiamori can't do anything to help us! You pushed him out of the way twice today because you know it, too!"
"Amori can help us. Do you not remember fifteen minutes ago?" Vegeta insisted, "That's not the fucking point- and since when do you not take any help that's offered? "
Coldly, from some strange part of himself he barely knew, Goku answered, "When someone is weaker than me."
Vegeta's heart clenched in a way it hadn't in a long time. He heard what Kakarot didn't say, that he is weaker than him, too, and he replied, disdainfully, "So you want to go this alone, then? Is that it, Kakarot?"
"Maybe I should?" Goku replied, thoughtfully, too emotionally distant for Vegeta to reach him.
"Who do you think you are?! "
His ego did the talking as he said, "You're just a target. Jeremel will try to fight you, and if you and I can't take him together, then how are you going to beat him alone? I'm the stronger of the two of us. I'll have a better chance if I don't have to be concerned about anyone else, then no one will be in my way. I've always found a way before." He couldn't let Vegeta know how broken down he felt at the moment. Here they are, in the midst of two battles, one for their love life, and one for everyone's lives, and neither are looking too good.
Vegeta, infuriated, went to interrupt him but Goku was saying, "I used to think your past meant more to you than it should but I guess I was wrong. Bad things keep happening because of it."
"You knew who I was when we met," Vegeta spat venomously and crossed his arms over his chest. "Aside from that you have embarrassed me in front of our children."
"Embarrassed you?!" Goku kind of laughed, Vegeta wasn't sure what to call it, but listened as he said, "This is Renji's fault."
Vegeta's anger spurred and he threw his hands down at his side as he lengthily replied, "You selfish, ignorant, foolish Saiyan. You've been so wrapped up in your insecurities about our relationship you haven't even considered what this trip has meant to me. Strike one! You build yourself up and disrespect me by thinking that you can defeat this man, Jeremel, all by yourself, when you know nothing about him, and you've seen how strong he is. Strike two!" There was a pause before Vegeta continued, softer but not less seriously, saying, "You've always liked anyone that wasn't trying to hurt your family or friends, yet here you are trying so hard to hate Renjiamori, a man who I personally... care about. You don't even know why you're angry. Instead of talking to me about this later like we agreed, you talked to Amori, in front of our fucking sons! What were you thinking? I've never seen you like this- so pigheaded and-"
Goku shook his head and said, "There are just some things that bring out the worst in me when I'm with you, I guess," and he shrugged, struggling to keep his composure. Is this it? It is all over? he thought.
Vegeta was more disturbed and hurt by those words than he would reveal, but there was still fire in his eyes.
Goku went on to say, finally being honest about his own feelings, "I've never felt like we were really together. I've never felt like you wanted anyone to know about us. It's like you have this giant egg around you, a shell that closes you in and I've tried to break through it but I just can't," Goku's eyes held more emotion than Vegeta could ever remember seeing in them, but Vegeta's heart had already been hardened and he said nothing as Goku added, "It's like you just don't really want this between us. You don't talk to me, and when I try to talk you just flat out refuse. Maybe you don't think that it's important, or maybe you just can't do it, or maybe you've already said everything to somebody else. But, I know one thing; this just isn't working."
Vegeta was never very good at conversations of this kind. He couldn't get Kakarot to back down and wait to talk about this later. He wasn't sure he had it in him right now to try very hard, either. After everything that he's just said, Vegeta began to think that Kakarot is already resolved to letting it be. Kakarot, in Vegeta's opinion, was basically saying he was giving up. No fight was worth it, anymore. How could Vegeta argue with logic like that?
He couldn't take away anything that he'd done, and in his situation, realizing that he was losing Kakarot completely, he finally showed his contempt in his own way. He retorted, using his own harsh words of premonition for the second time, "I told you it could never work between us."
Goku, in all his pride and anger and jealousy, said, "You were right."
Vegeta had to put on his mask, the mask he'd been peeling back slowly these last four years. He had no desire to argue with Kakarot. Now his face was devoid of all emotion and with more venom behind the words than in them, he said, "You want to go this alone? Fine, good luck. But you're out of your mind if you think I don't want my own personal vengeance on that audacious asshole. We'll see which one of us will crush this asshole first, then after that we can be done with one another once and for all."
Goku didn't say anything, but he watched as Vegeta flew away.
Neither could believe they had just broken up, again. There was still so much more to say.
---
Gohan approached Renjiamori in a way he's only known he could, but has never actually done. The moment he spotted him, he went down for a landing and immediately cried out in a very forward and sound manner, "Sir, wait! You and I both know you have no where to go. I'd be more than happy to accommodate you. Please, stop and talk to me."
Renjiamori turned to him, shocked. In just his introduction alone he's proven himself to be so different from his father. "Young man," he replied, "I know why you've come here and it isn't only out of charity. You think you may need my help, and you want me to answer some questions."
Gohan smiled, content with his perception and honesty, and said, "Yes, who wouldn't be a little curious?" He walked closer to Renjiamori as he explained himself, "That doesn't mean I didn't also offer to help you because I should and because I want to." Gohan smiled at him, "I find you fascinating. I don't know what that attack was, or how you know Vegeta, but my curiosity has always been my friend, and so I hope it guides me well here. Besides, you've obviously caused some drama between my father and Vegeta, and neither will take you in without pretense at the moment, so hopefully your stay with me will take care of some of your uneasiness."
Renjiamori laughed, impressed with him, and said, "You've certainly changed my day around. Sleep well tonight knowing you have lifted my burden. I'd be happy to speak with you on any matter you wish in return for such a kind offer and your intelligent company."
Gohan laughed, understanding his humor and wit and together they headed in whatever direction Gohan decided to go, which was not home, because he was far too interested in keeping Renjiamori to himself for a while, and he wasn't exactly sure how his dad would react to his letting Renjiamori stay next door.
::: Forever :::
Vegeta laid in Amori's arms for what felt like the millionth time. Nothing was better than when Amori was napping and Vegeta could finally relax and pretend to have no worries at all, the way Amori always tried to seem.
Life had a routine, a rather pleasant one, too, in fact. Vegeta went on missions and when he returned, he found a lover and a friend in Amori. The Likor became both a confidant and an informant, and he was always willing to help the Prince take his mind off of things in whatever new way he wanted to try.
Vegeta had to admit to himself that they made a great couple. Everyone knew about their relationship by now, and no one really cared like they had in the beginning. Vegeta, himself, was far too powerful and conceited to care and Amori was far too cunning and genial to hate in general. Though each man had their own discrepancies with other members of Frieza's army [or elsewhere] at times, they handled it with class, but more than that, they handled it once and for all.
Vegeta realized one day that he loved him and so he had planned to leave him. It may not make much sense to anyone else, he knew, especially not to Amori, but he had made his choice and he would go through with it.
His initial scheme for reuniting Kakarot with his own kind was already in progress. Vegeta planned on sending Nappa at first, but found that the loss of Raditz's company would be much more agreeable. Since then, Raditz has landed on Earth, unbeknownst to Frieza, and was to report back the moment he contacted his long-lost brother. Vegeta's anxiousness on the matter could not go on ignored any longer.
Vegeta stared at Renjiamori as he thought about what life would be like once he left him, but he found he couldn't focus on that. He wouldn't let his obsession for the other man become his downfall. There was only room for one true obsession in his life, and of that, with his motto that "Frieza must die," Vegeta was resigned to being the one to do it. As he memorized the lines of Amori's face, he knew that leaving was what must be done if he could ever move on with his life and accomplish his only decided goal. Renjiamori would only hold him back.
Vegeta knew that Amori didn't mean to keep him from being all that he could be, that it was simply in his nature to nurture and protect, but it's in Vegeta's nature to disrupt and destroy, especially when cornered and pressured. Vegeta respected Amori and appreciated him, but he could never be at peace with himself if he didn't follow through with his predetermined personal intentions for his own life. Leaving Amori, he knew, would be one of the hardest things he would ever have to do in his life. The only atonement: that it will be worth it.
Amori moved around in his sleep, pinning Vegeta in a new position while mumbling something incoherent as he dreamed. Vegeta smirked and tried his best to embed this moment into his memory. He kissed his lips, and as he did, Amori woke up.
He said, "Hey."
Vegeta's smirk turned sweeter and he answered, "Hey."
"Wha you doing awake?"
"I just got a message, I'll be going on a mission tomorrow," he fibbed. He hadn't gotten any message, much less the one he expected from Raditz yet, but he planned on leaving anyways. Once he was gone, the moment he does get the call, he will have already said good bye to Amori. That way he won't have the chance to reconsider his choice or risk Amori's life by asking him to join them. In any case, he'll be better off outside of Frieza's ship once he does begin his journey of rebellion towards the Earth.
"Mmmm, sucks," Amori half moaned and brought Vegeta closer. Vegeta didn't reply, he just breathed in his scent deeply as he heard him add, "Let's go to breakfast before you go."
"And before that?" Vegeta teased.
"Mmm, right now?" Amori whispered sensually in his ear.
Vegeta welcomed Amori's advances and did everything and anything Amori wanted and when they'd finished they fell back asleep in one another's arms. When they awoke, they fucked one another all over again. When they were done, they went to breakfast. When they finished eating, Vegeta said goodbye to Amori like he always does. After they kissed, he got into his space pod and left.
From there, Vegeta let all of his hate eat away at him.
The only good memories were those from a distant past and those which he shared with Renjiamori, but Vegeta's mind grew more and more adamant that although Amori had been good for him, he'd also never be enough. If Renjiamori made him a better person he wouldn't still be so angry about his lot in life. If he were meant to be with Renjiamori he never would have been able to leave him. Renjiamori will never be a Saiyan, he will never understand his thirst for battle and his relentless rage. He may tame the beast within Vegeta but he will never unleash it or be able to handle it if he could. Vegeta needed both. If Amori were to see the deepest depths of his soul, Vegeta was convinced he would no longer care for him, therefore, there was no point.
Those notions stemmed from his deep hatred of Frieza, and, over all, it took Vegeta less time to fall deeper into insanity over being rid of Frieza than to let Amori go, but eventually, he accomplished both.
