Chapter 13

Roy had been taken swiftly to the hospital but Edward had helped him out greatly before this had happened. Which was making liquid Charcoal so that it would clean Roy’s stomach out of anything poisons. Now Edward was walking back and forth in the waiting room with Hawkeye, Hughes and Al who were seated on the chairs Edward couldn’t sit still he had to make sure Roy was ok he couldn’t live with himself if he never got better!

After being such a fuck up he thought to himself with the whole blowing up at Roy deal he wanted to make everything right not have Roy mad at him. “It will be ok,” Mase said trying to say this to Edward watching him move back and forth it kind of made him nervous.

Edward looked over at Mase “Yea only if Colonel is ok of course,” He said at lest remembering to call him Colonel. It was just hard for him to stay calm when being clam was just something Edward didn’t really know how to be.

The doctor finally came into the waiting room and all Edward had to hear was Roy was awake and ready for visitors and Edward was out of the room like a red blur.

Hawkeye swiftly went after him though not knowing at the moment that Ed was his knew lover and was thinking it was. Inappropriate for a subordinate to be barreling down the hallway to the Colonel’s room like this, and as Edward shoved the door open Roy looked up from where he was laying surprised a bit this woke up his sleepy head.

“Colonel Oh Colonel I am so glad your alright” Edward said this was so out of character for him but he couldn’t help himself anymore. He was a very caring fellow when it came to the people he cared about the most.

Roy then frowned some as Hawkeye grabbed Ed under his arms” I am sorry Sir” She began Ed then clung on to the door frames. “Major Elric you shouldn’t burst into The Colonel’s room like that.”

“Let me go Let me go I just want to talk to the Colonel Geez!” Edward wiggled Hawkeye pulled on him more the door frame snapped and Hawkeye fell down on her ass with Edward sitting between her legs. The door frame fell down over top of them making a loud crashing sound.

Roy shook his head and put his hand to his temple what a nosy lot he thought and so destructive too. “Hawkeye please it is alright” Roy said out toward the door “you didn’t have to grab Edward like that now went and broke the hospital.” He chuckled a bit though it was kind of funny amusing and flattering to have two people so worried about him.

Some doctors and nurses stopped when the door broke and groaned Edward hoped up when Roy was telling Hawkeye to calm down he then picked up the door frame and put it back where it was suppose to be and fixed it making it shinny silver and very firm. He walked into the hospital room and came over to Roy.

“Are you alright now?” Edward wondered putting a hand on Roy’s hand that had an IV stuck into his wrist “Don’t be getting poisoned on me now bastard you have a lot of things you still have to do you know.”

Hawkeye stood up and gasped when Edward said this as she entered the room. “Major Elric you shouldn’t take that tone with The Colonel” She sounded like a mother scolding a child.

“Well Fullmetal it wasn’t like it was my fault,” Roy said and put his hand on top of Edward’s head wanting so much to just pull him in and snuggle him but he couldn’t do that now with Hawkeye and Hughes and Al all standing in the room looking at them. “I was poisoned by that waitress.”

“Oh and about her” Mase said coming into the room and stood at the end of Roy’s bed “She had been caught and has been taken to the questioning room to find out who sent her or what they were wanting. Besides trying to kill you Colonel Mustang” Mase said seriously.

“Well thank you Hughes your someone I know I can always count on,” Roy said as he kept rubbing Ed on his golden head with his big soft warm hand Edward was seeming to enjoy this a little to much but no one said anything for now.

“Of course you can always count on me for sure, anyways are you feeling better I hope so.” Mase said worried about his good friend just like anyone else would be.

“Yeah I still feel a little tired though,” Roy said and finally removed his hand from the top of Edward’s head Edward looked a little sad when this happened he sat down in the chair next to Roy’s bed.

“Well of course you do sir you just been put through a big ordeal so it’s alright if you want to rest the doctor said you’ll be in here for two weeks so I could bring you your paper work here to do since you’ll have all this free time.” Hawkeye said being her annoying none helpful self.

“GAH!” Roy snapped suddenly “No please I don’t want any Paper work” Roy said feeling like he was being tortured now. “I am much to ill for that,” Roy said sliding down under the covers trying to hid from Hawkeye now.

“But sir this would be the best thing for you to do and get it all done and caught up with I’ll go to the office and get it for you.” Hawkeye said and turned on her heals and left the room.

The rest that were still in the room could hear Roy’ groaning in annoyance under the covers then he pulled the covers down ”Al and Hughes may I please have a few moments a lone with Fullmetal I have something I wish to talk over with him in private.”

Hughes blinked a bit surprised by this but let it go and didn’t worry too much about it though it was a sudden thing Roy asked. “Alright then you got it Colonel,” Hughes said giving Roy a thumbs up and walked out of the hospital room with Alphonse and shut the door.

Edward really wondered what it could be that Roy was wanting him to do for him, “So what is It Colonel?” Edward wondered with his arms crossed firmly over his chest.

“Please help me escape the dreaded paper work!” Roy said gripping hold of Edward’s red jacket collar from where he sat in the bed. “If you help me escape from here I will forgive you for stomping on my chocolates and making such a loud fuss earlier.”

Edward was surprised by Roy yanking him like this his bottom was a bit up off the chair, “I um alright I’ll help you but where the hell am I suppose to take you and why are you gripping me like this don’t be so excitable your still healing you know.”

“Sorry Fullmetal its just I want to get out of here” Roy pouted and let Edward go and the blonde stood up next to the bed and straightened his coat out.

“Alright we will,” Ed leaned in and kissed Roy on the lips Roy kissed him back gratefully and rubbed him on his blonde head. Then Ed stood back and clapped his hands and turned the bed into a wheel chair and left the IV in Roy’s arms then made stairs going down from Roy’s room into the alley way.

They escaped the hospital pretty much unnoticed once they were between the buildings in the alley Edward pushed Roy down the street toward the direction in which Roy had told him to go.

No one would think to look for him in the place he was headed as he never told anyone about this place in the city his own secret hideaway so to say.
