Chapter 13 of Demon Seed…how long has it been? Egad, ages I
know. I apologize for that too. Since it has been so long since an update I can
only hope I’m still able to get the flow of this story down so it doesn’t seem
to rough and abrupt at where I left off and where I’m starting again.
Pairings reminder: 1xR 2xH 4xC 5xSP 6x9 13x11 13+R and if
you haven’t guessed by now, 3x11. The fic over all is NC-17 but this chapter
has no real warnings.
So for those of you who still wish to follow this story,
here it is. Hope it was worth the long ass wait.

Heero woke to the sound of chirping birds that had perched
on the limb outside of the room’s window. His sleepy eyes focused on the view,
noting that the sky itself was just beginning to break dawn. He rolled himself
to a sitting position, scanning the room taking in its shambled appearance as
well as the torn and bloody sheets that wrapped him and the girl, who was still
sleeping beside him.
He untangled himself from the linens while gently shaking
Relena awake. Blue-green orbs peeked out at him through half-open lids as she
used her arms to raise up her body her eyes suddenly widening upon realizing
the disarray and mess of the room.
“Did we…?”
“Yea.” His answer was short as he rose to his feet and began
gathering up his clothing, tossing the vampire princess her dress. Now on her
feet she began to pull the thin material up around her body, still in disbelief
of the images that her memories kept feeding to her mind.
“But, this place is…?”
“Torn up. I know. I’ll explain later…we just need to get out
of here before we’re found out.”
She gave the Stalker a silent nod and finished dressing,
slipping on her soft-soled shoes as she headed to the door.
“This way.” Relena noticed his tone was commanding yet
lacking of its usual coldness and even his touch as he grasped her wrist and
began leading her to the window seemed less harsh and aggressive. Heero sat
down on the sill and pulled her onto his lap, placing her arms around his neck.
“Hold onto me tightly. It’s not a long jump but the impact might be rough.”
Immediately she tightened her arms around him as they slid
from the window, his cradling embrace, continuing to hug her snuggly against
him. Even though, those with vampire blood had the strength, immortality and
healing abils ths that all vampires possessed they still were only half and so
lacked other abilities such as flight and any kind of transformation talents.
Landing solidly onto his feet he placed Relena on her own,
though he refused to let go of her hand as he began leading her once again
toward the place he had left his horse. He glanced back at her out of the
corner of his eye noticing her silent and complacent nature that was so unlike
her. He wondered for a moment if the previous events of the night had hurt her
in anyway, if not physically then maybe her mind was now full of regrets and
sadness. Spying his mount, he buried those thoughts and sped up their pace
until they had reached the animal.
Once upon his steed, he lifted her and placed her gently in
a sidesaddle position in front of him, one hand supporting her, while the other
held onto the horse’s reins. Glancing up at him briefly, Relena noted his stern
expression and wondered if it was from regret or anger, but being uncertain she
chose to keep mute. And so both
remained silent as Heero nudged his steed into a trot, taking off in the
direction that would lead back to Wufei’s.

Trowa pushed his body up, the blanket that had kept him warm
during the night sliding from his form as he stretched out his long, lanky limbs.
He had had yet another sleepless night, dreams of a lost love in pain and
agony, haunting him, making his head ache as well as his heart.
Why after so long? He asked himself, kneeling down by
the banks of a narrow stream, quenching thi thirst as well as washing his face
in an attempt to get back to feeling normal. It did not seem to help though,
especially when he looked at his reflection in the rippling pool his
disturbance had made. “Would she even recognize me?” He questioned out loud as
he ran a callous hand over his entire face, rubbing out the rest of his
fatigue. Years have been added to me, though I know for a fact she would
look just beautiful, just as graceful…I ran to forget you, just as you ordered
me too, so why now, Anne, do you reappear to me? Standing up he walked the
short distance back to his campsite, where he snuffed out the remains of his
fire and began to roll up his supplies. He had finished securing the last
camping article on his horse when her voice began speaking to him again.
“Trowa, please…come to me…I need you.”
With his eyes blinking rapidly, he scanned the trees of the
forest looking for the source of the voice that spoke to him, though he knew
she was not there, but merely using the power of her mind to contact him.
“Anne?” He spoke in a cracked, almost shy voice. “Why do you call me now? You
told me to leave…to forget…how do you know I will even come to you?”
&n]>
“I have always known your heart, my beloved…and, you still
love me.”
“Get out of my head!” His curled fists fiercely and rubbed
his eyes in frustration. “You turned your back on us to go to him…you told me I
was a pathetic human, unworthy of your love!” He stilled his outburthenthen,
knowing that if anyone were to pass they’d most certainly think him mad with
demon voices.
“I lied, for reasons that I will not explain to you…not
until I can see your face. Please…my dearest, come to me and I swear to be
yours forever.”
Trowa opened hiss, as, a few tears escaping from their
corners. Even now despite the pain
you have caused me…despite the certainty that my actions could very well bring
about my death, I will come to you…for my heart still holds you dear to
me…huh…it is as you’ve said, I am a pathetic human.
With a hefty push of his foot, he lifted his body and
mounted his horse and taking the reins in hands he turned the creature to the
opposite direction of where he had planned to go. Wait for me, my lady, and
I shall pray that your suffering will not overwhelm you before my presence is
made.

“What the hell is this?” Treize snarled as he snatched the
blue crystal from his wife’s hand. “Why is it you need to amplify your
telepathic abilities? Who was it you were speaking to?”
With an emotional mask made of stone, the queen looked up
from where she sat. “Why is it you suddenly care about anything that deals with
me? Your mhas has been filled with nothing amb ambition and lust for power and
that sniffling half breed of wench.”
Treize smirked, placing the crystal back upon Une’s vanity.
“That, I can not deny…my lady…for we all have our obsessions.” His voice was
velvet as he stepped behind his wife, resting his large, elegant hands upon her
shoulders as he leaned forward until his lips were next to one of her ears.
“But, dearest…” He spoke in an even lower, but seething tone as his hands drew
closer to her neck, encircling it before adding pressure. “We just must be careful that those obsessions
do not kill us.”
Her hands immediately went to her throat, trying desperately
to pry away Treize’s straggling hold, but he did not ease up. “No one leaves
me, Anne…even if I do not want you, you will always be my possession. So give
up on your ancient lover to rescue you because I vow his blood will be spilt
before he ever gets close.” He released his hold on her then and her upper body
sprang forward as she gasped for air, the purple and red marks of his attack
already beginning to fade.
The king spoke again as he parted the doors to their
chambers. “But if you desire to be with him that badly, perhaps I will grant
your wish and simply kill you along with him.” He paused but a moment, a deep
chuckle, leaving him. “Then again, to watch you agonize over the loss of your
love for all eternity may very well be a pleasing sight to see.”
“Bastard!” She whispered under her breath hearing the door
close behind him. “Whatever you do to me I will return to you ten fold. For you
are mine as well, even though I loathe you. So just as you have vowed to kill
my love, then I will vow to kill yours. I still have my pride and will never
allow another female, mortal or otherwise, to usurp me from my throne and my
position.”

Milliardo sliced the knife the through the deer as he
hastily tugged away its skin from its carcass that hung from a tree. Stopping
momentarily, he raised his forearm to wipe the sweat from his brow noting how
it seemed as if it was going to be a humid autumn. He looked over to his side,
his eyes catching the sight of his wife who sat in the shade, holding their
newly born son close to her chest as he fed. The one time vampire prince could
not help but smile a little at the scene, the wonder of how his life had become
completely different then what he had ever thought. Gone were his days of
privilege, wealth and power, to be replaced by what most considered common and
lowly, though, to him, he had gained even more with the presence of his wife
and son, Caelan
Lucrezia’s health had seemed to improve greatly since the
birth of their child just two weeks before. Now she was able to go out into the
sun, though her skin still seemed quite sensitive and her eyes began to sting
after awhile. However, it seemed that their boy had no adverse affects to the
solar rays and in fact seemed to be as normal as any other babe, though at
times they would find him sucking his fist or his mother’s breast so hard that
he would literally draw blood through skin. It’s still too early to tell,
Lucrezia would say, defending her son’s fate with desperate hope. Unable to
accept the plight of his son, Milliardo would just nod his head in agreement,
for who in truth really knew what the future held for their child, or for any
of them. All they could do was sit back and watch and hope for the best.
Her husband’s gaze caught her attention and the dark-eyed
beauty lifted her head slightly returning the loving look until he turned back
to his work, and she back to her son. Caelan had fallen asleep and was no
longer attentive to her, and so, with the gentleness that only a mother could
possess she pried him away, laying him down into an oblong wicker basket lined
with blankets and furs. She ran her fingertips over his chubby cheeks and pink
little mouth, smiling all the while, amazed at how much love she felt for her
child. A child that would not have been possible if not for the tragic night
when she was stolen from her home and placed into servitude under Treize
Kushranada. The breed of the man she had hated, had now given her so much joy,
so much security and so much love.
“Lucrezia.” Milliardo called to her. “It’s beginning to get
dusk, both of you best get inside.”
Not wishing to wake her son, she merely nodded and rose to
her feet, cradling on her hip the wicker basket that held their offspring.
Milliardo breathed a small sigh of relief when he saw them
finally go inside of their house. Though it was not the actual coming of night,
that had made him rush his family indoors, but it was what his trained senses
had warned him of what this night would bring.
Hunters.
After placing Caelan into his cradle, Lucrezia scampered
quickly to the door opening it up just a bit to peek outside, seeing her
husband continuing to the the deer as if nothing was wrong, but she knew
better, her senses were heightened as well, and her foresight was strong. She
closed the door and locked it, pressing her forehead against its back, fighting
against the tears that were starting to fall down her cheeks. “Please, be
careful, Milliardo, I can not lose you.”
Clutching the large knife tightly in his hand, the blonde
male continued to slice at the animal, trying his best to seem casual. Hunters
were different from Stalkers. Stalkers were humans or half-breeds, out to kill
any vampire be they good or evil. Hunters however, were mostly full-blooded
vampires, who killed upon the king’s command any vampire deemed traitorous or
unworthy.
Ducking down suddenly, Milliardo swung around in a spin,
taking off the left leg of the first hunter with his knife. The man immediately
fell, writhing in pain and the ex-prince attacked, severing his head from his
body. Feeling himself pulled roughly
back by his long hair, Milliardo struggled against the secattaattacker, feeling
a blade slice across his own throat.

Treize sat tall upon his horse as he overlooked the handful
of Hunters he had gathered to accompany him on his search for the princess. He
had decided to leave that night, ordering the main captain of his guards to
keep watch over the queen.
“But sir, what of the four hunters we sent out to
assassinate the young prince?”
“Call them back. If he is not already dead, then he is
certainly beaten into shame by now. He is no longer considered a threat and the
Hunters are needed for a much more important manner. Upon their return, two are to remain here by my wife, send the
other two to meet up with me. Is that understood, Otto?”
“Yes, your lordship.” His servant bowed respectively. “Your
orders shall be carried out as commanded.”
