~~flashback~~
Vegeta didn’t bother knocking as he burst through the door. “Kakarot! I have something…” He trailed off when he didn’t see the samurai anywhere. “Kakarot?” He went in and looked around in the sun-streamed darkness, then froze in his step. What if the Doumei clan found out where he was hiding and got him and now he was just laying somewhere bleeding to death? And he can’t help him because he can’t get to him or…he’s…he’s…“Kakarot!” Looking around more desperately and calling out in a panicked tone, he searched under and around everywhere he could see and find. “Kakarot!” Just when he was about to lose his mind, he heard a sound in the doorway.
He spun around and pulled out his duel swords. However, he relaxed his fighting stance once he saw the familiar silhouette and put away his swords. “Kakarot!” He said in relief as he ran over to the samurai and embraced him.
Kakarot returned the embrace. “Vegeta? What are you doing here? It’s not even dark out yet.”
Vegeta ignored the question and pulled back. “Kakarot, I have to tell you something.” Just when he was about to explain, Kakarot interrupted.
“So, you know?” Vegeta’s urgency faltered as Kakarot made his way passed him with a blank expression. “You see now why I didn’t want you to get involved?” He didn’t look at the noble as he sat down and laid his sword next to him.
Vegeta’s thoughts were replaced with confusion. What was he talking about? He was already involved. He’s been involved with Kakarot’s life ever since he was born. “Kakarot…what do you remember before your parents died?”
Kakarot paused in his movements as he thought about the question. After a few minutes, he couldn’t come up with anything decent. “Not much.” He thought about it a little more as his expression became annoyed. “Not much at all really. I…barely remember. All I remember is what my parents looked like and who they were.”
Vegeta came over to Kakarot’s side and bent down to his level. “Kakarot, we’re supposed to be together. We were supposed to be wedded, you and I.” He turned the samurai’s surprised face to look at him. “Don’t you get it? I’m supposed to be involved. It’s my destiny to be with you.” He traced the man’s features and ran his fingers through his hair.
“What…do you mean?” Kakarot froze at the noble’s words.
Vegeta smiled. “We met a long time ago, Kakarot. Except…neither of us…remembers.” He touched their foreheads together and continued to run his fingers through that untamed hair.
Kakarot reached up to gently capture his arms. “Where did you hear this?”
Vegeta frowned at the movement. “My father told me and when I found out who you were, I told Lord Akuto that I knew you were related to him. He didn’t deny it, but instead told me that he wanted you to come back and exceed him when he’s no longer the clan leader.” Kakarot tensed when he heard the lie, then sighed and stood. Vegeta understood the reaction. “But I don’t believe him.” Kakarot turned his attention to the noble again. He thought for sure that Vegeta was still in the dark of what truly happened, but perhaps that’s not the case at all. “When I heard more about the man from my father, I know now that…he’s been trying to kill you…just like…your parents.” He whispered the last part and turned away, not able to look at the samurai as he said it.
Kakarot’s expression went from shock to anger as he turned away as well. Minutes passed in silence until Kakarot finally responded. “I…saw him…murder my parents.” Vegeta turned his attention back to Kakarot and stood in shock. However, Kakarot kept his attention elsewhere as he told his story. “It was late in the evening, we were just calling it a night when we were suddenly attacked by unknown assassins. Father told us to run while he dealt with the threat, but I didn’t want to leave him…”
~~“Papa, no we’re not leaving you!” The five year old called out in panic as he watched his father get a sword and prepare to deal with the countless assassins that pounded on the main entrance of the manor, trying to get to the noble and his family.
“I said go! Now! While you can!” Lord Bardock looked back at his family at the order. His son practically in tears at the thought of leaving his dear father and his wife trying to hold back tears of her own as she held her son.
Just as the boy was about to protest, his uncle came into the room with a surprisingly calm air about him. He was here on a visit, since it’s been quite some time since the man has seen what’s left of his family. “Uncle! Please tell papa that he can come with us!” He tried talking to his uncle who glanced at the child and smirked, then proceeded to walk up to his brother.
Lord Bardock looked at his brother in surprise before trying to convince him to leave as well. “Akuto! You must leave as well! Their leader must be after the title of the clan!” He shouted over the roar of the pounding on the door.
Akuto stood in front of his brother, a strange, dark glint in his eye as he hid a smirk. “You’re right. Their leader is after your title.” With a quick swiftness, he pulled out a hidden knife and plunged it into his brother’s chest. Lord Bardock gripped his brother’s hand that was clenched around the knife, trying to pull out the intrusive object, but Akuto didn’t relent and pushed it in deeper. Lord Bardock’s eyes widened a fraction before a strangled gasp escaped his lungs and blood followed. “Well, I guess this makes me leader now.” Lord Akuto let go of the knife, leaving it in his brother’s chest, as he watched him fall to his knees.
“P-Papa!” “Bardock! No!” Both Kakarot and his mother shouted in unison as they watched their beloved family member die in front of them.
Akuto turned to them as if he just noticed them and pulled out his own sword. “Now, to finish the job.” He smirked as he made his way over to the scared mother and child.
“But, Akuto…why?” The mother asked her brother-in-law.
Akuto paused in his step. “Why? What a pathetic question. Isn’t it obvious? I want what should’ve belonged to me…I want what’s mine! To be leader of the Doumei clan! If I would’ve known that’s what my parents wanted all along, I would’ve killed my brother a lot sooner!” His insane tirade abruptly ended as his smirk returned. “Either way, it looks like I’ll get my wish after all.”
Lady Mamoru looked at the man in horror before turning her attention to her son. “Kakarot listen to me. You must run!”
Kakarot was only just now able to move as he turned his attention from his crazed uncle to his mother. He shook his head frantically. “No, no…I can’t leave you!”
“Kakarot you must! You must live to reclaim the Doumei clan! Please, don’t let your-!” Her sentence was abruptly cut off as a blade pierced her throat.
All Kakarot could do was watch as her blood ran down the blade and fall onto his face. He stared on in horror as he watched her try to breathe around the blade and blood poured out of her mouth. “That’s enough from you. If the boy wants to stay and die, then let him. It’ll make it easier for me.” Akuto’s grin widened as he pulled his sword back and watched the boy’s mother fall to the floor. He then finished her off with a swift stab into her heart.
Kakarot heard his mother make a choking gasp as the sword, once again, pierced her and he made a strangled sound of his own at the site. He was frozen at the pure horror before him and didn’t notice the man he once called an uncle stand before him. “M-Mother…?” He whispered in shock as Akuto laughed.
“Don’t worry, nephew. You’ll join her soon.” Just as he was about to deliver a fatal blow to the child, he cried out in pain and dropped his weapon.
Kakarot snapped out of his shocked stupor at the sound and looked around for the source. There, his father stood behind Akuto, the sword still in his hand as he sliced at his brother’s back. “Kakarot…” His father struggled to speak through the whole in his chest. “Run…! Now!”
Kakarot stood from his position on the floor at the painful and enraged expression on his father’s face. He backed up when Akuto suddenly punched his brother in the face, then kneed him in the wound on his chest. He watched as his father gasped for air in his kneeling position on the floor and dropped his weapon. “Fool! You’ll regret that!” Akuto picked up his sword then proceeded to bring the final blow to his brother when Kakarot jumped onto his uncle’s back.
“No!” Akuto gasped at the extra weight on his wound and thrashed around wildly.
“You brat! Get off of me!” Kakarot hung on for dear life to keep his uncle from killing his father as he was thrown about. However, he cried out once his back crashed into a wall and loosened his grip on the man as he slid to the floor. Akuto quickly turned to face the boy and pointed his sword at him. “Just for that, you die next!”
Kakarot stared at the cold, sharp weapon of death as it came towards him, but missed it’s target when a bloody knife flew passed them. Both looked toward the origin from which the knife was thrown from and saw a wounded noble struggling to stay conscience. “Stay away from him!” Kakarot saw the blood leak out of his father and noticed that the knife was missing and immediately realized that the knife came from him. “Kakarot…I said run!”
“Neither of you are going anywhere! This ends now!” Akuto rushed at his new target and swung his sword. Lord Bardock blocked the attack with his own sword and struggled against his brother’s strength. Attack after attack was blocked before Akuto finally aimed his elbow at his brother’s wound and struck. Lord Bardock gasped and gripped his chest before Akuto’s sword came down and connected with his neck, successfully decapitating the noble as the head rolled toward the boy who kneeled on the ground.
Kakarot stared in horror at the shocked expression on his father’s severed head and screamed. “P-Papa! No!” He scrambled away from the head before looking at his deranged uncle in horror, who looked menacing with a blood soaked sword and crimson splattered on his attire. The smirk reappeared as he stared at the head of his younger brother and began to laugh maniacally.
“Finally! The moment I’ve been waiting for! The only thing I desired most is finally mine! I am leader of the most powerful clan in the country!” He had his moment until the doors were finally busted through and the men he hired to take out the rest of the followers of his brother entered the scene. “It’s about time. Now, there’s just one more thing to take care of.” He looked toward the spot where his nephew occupied, but noticed that it was empty. He suddenly looked around in a panic, but couldn’t find the boy anywhere. “Damn it! The boy!” He turned to his assassins. “Find the boy! Find him and kill him! I can’t afford to let him live!” He glanced around at the many exits of the room and sneered as the men quickly departed and did as ordered.
Outside of the manor, the little sobbing noble took one last glance at his home that now held his parents’ corpses and took off once he saw the assassins pour out of the manor in search of him.~~
“Once my uncle succeeded in killing my parents, he could make up any story he wanted.” Kakarot looked at the ground, lost in the painful memories as he told them to the other noble.
Vegeta stared at him in shock. He couldn’t imagine how Kakarot managed to live after witnessing his parents’ death. He couldn’t even fathom seeing such a thing, but he could see how it effected the samurai by seeing the painful expression on his lover’s innocent face. “Kakarot…” What could he say to something like that? I’m sorry? He didn’t even understand his position, let alone what he’s feeling. He would think that a person like him would want revenge. Vegeta stepped closer and settled a hand on his arm. “I’ll help you bring him down.” He said quietly with determination.
Kakarot lifted his head slightly, then gently pulled his arm away. “I don’t want that. I’m so sick of killing. All I want…is peace.” He responded in a false tone because he knew that there was no way that that would be possible until the day his uncle actually died.
Vegeta sighed. “And how do you suppose you’re going to get that, hm? The only way to get any peace around here is if some lives are taken. You know that, right?”
Kakarot sighed tiredly. “I’ve been taking lives all my life and it seems no matter how many more I take…things aren’t going to change.”
Vegeta could see the reasoning behind his response. “But, if you killed just one more person, perhaps peace will finally come.”
Kakarot thought about the truth behind his love’s words and hesitated. “I…I don’t know.”
“Come on, Kakarot! The man killed your parents without so much as a bit of remorse! Killing him would bring justice and honor to them!” Vegeta was, once again, getting impatient with the samurai. Why couldn’t he see it? “You’re never going to find peace if you leave things the way they are. Eventually, one of you is going to kill the other.” He came up to Kakarot and rested a hand on his face. “And I’d prefer it if you didn’t die. Sometimes…you have to fight to get what you want.” He watched as his love fought his inner turmoil. “And I can be alongside you, if you want. You’ve been doing this for far too long. It’s about time you had some peace.”
Kakarot struggled with his thoughts for a moment longer before finally making a decision. He reached up to place his hand over Vegeta’s on his face. “I suppose you’re right. It’s about time I end this.” A dark, but determined expression came over his features and Vegeta didn’t know if he liked that look.
Vegeta leaned in close, almost brushing his lips against his as he spoke. “Just…promise me that you won’t lose yourself in this. I’m sure it’ll be painful, but promise me that you’ll stay strong.”
Kakarot hesitated a moment at the close contact before getting his bearings. “I will, don’t worry.” He leaned forward and closed the small space between them as he stole a kiss from his lover.
Vegeta moaned into the kiss and moved his lips more desperately, wanting to taste his lover. Kakarot moaned back and obliged to let the lithe noble explore. Both of their actions got more frisky as they tried to subdue the other. After a few minutes, Vegeta pulled back as they gasped for air. “I want to be on top.”
Kakarot froze as he panted for air. “You were on top last time.”
Vegeta shook his head. “No. I mean, I want to be in the position that you were in last time.” Kakarot thought about it for a moment before restrained laughing shook his frame, then he couldn’t contain it anymore as he burst out laughing. Vegeta couldn’t help but scowl. “What’s so funny?”
When Kakarot calmed down somewhat, a smile still placed on his features, he tried looking his love in the eye. “I’m sorry. It’s just that…the thought of being taken by someone who doesn’t have that much experience is more…funny than it is lovely.” He couldn’t help but chuckle as his lover punched him playfully.
“Well, how am I supposed to have any experience if you don’t let me? You realize that you’re missing out on a good thing here.” The young noble smirked.
Kakarot’s smile softened as he held the lithe noble in his arms. “Oh, I’ve been missing out on this for a long time.” He leaned down and kissed the smirk off his lover’s features. Both moved to the floor and got comfortable as hands roamed over each other and moans escaped them. Kakarot pulled back a moment for air and decided to use that air to ask a question. “Why are you here so early? It’s not dark out yet. You could’ve been seen.”
Vegeta’s lost expression turned into one of annoyance at wasting the time they had together to talk. “I had to tell you what I knew. I couldn’t wait until tonight, besides we have more time together now.” He leaned over and decided to give attention to the rest of his lover’s body as Kakarot thought about the information. “Oh and…Akuto is here.” He broke contact briefly as he added the information on as an afterthought.
Kakarot pulled back slightly. “What?!”
Contact was broken again as Vegeta sighed. “Yes. He volunteered to help out with the ceremony and my Master invited him to stay at his manor.” His attention went back to Kakarot’s neck and chest as Kakarot took in the information.
“How long is he staying?” Kakarot ignored his lover’s touches as much as he could, trying to stay on the subject at hand.
“Until the ceremony is over.” Vegeta answered shortly as he tried to rid his lover’s clothes.
Kakarot didn’t notice. “And that’s…in about a week or so, right?”
Vegeta paused. “Actually they pushed it back until the middle of next month.” He continued his ministrations and successfully removed Kakarot’s shirt, revealing more skin as he relished it.
Kakarot seemed relieved at the news and at the same time, disturbed. “At least that gives us more time to come up with a plan…” He trailed off and closed his eyes in bliss as Vegeta paid special attention to his chest. “And…and so…we can…” His words failed him as his lover did sinful things with his tongue and he moaned.
The young noble smirked when he saw what his actions were doing to his lover and continued with more roughness. After a few more torture some minutes, Kakarot pushed Vegeta back and pinned him down. “Oh, no. I’m not letting you take over again.” He practically ripped the clothes off of the lithe noble as Vegeta watched him with excitement at the roughness of his usually gentle lover.
Kakarot’s pants were discarded by the younger and were non-too-swiftly kicked away as the two melded against each other. Kakarot didn’t wait as he plunged into his lover’s heat, who arched against the intrusion and moaned at the sudden feeling of being filled. Kakarot waited a moment before giving long, quick thrusts into his lover as Vegeta gripped Kakarot’s shoulders and moved along with him, gasping every time that spot was hit within him. Kakarot took a hold of one of Vegeta’s thighs and spread him wider, wanting more room to give the younger noble more pleasure. Vegeta groaned at the new position and blushed more profusely at the display as he turned his head away from the lustful eyes staring at him. Kakarot gently gripped his hair and turned his face back to look at him. Neither said a word as their panting and movements increased. A millennia later, Vegeta clenched his eyes shut and shouted his lover’s name to the ceiling as Kakarot whispered the young noble’s name to him and stopped all movement. Both moved their hips slowly as their climax hit them at the same time and Vegeta swore he came twice. His body suddenly became lax as Kakarot collapsed beside him, both panted as they held each other in the aftermath of their lovemaking.
Vegeta smiled as Kakarot lazily trailed kisses from his temple to his mouth. He accepted the kiss, then Kakarot pulled away to rest his head against his lover’s ear. “Now, about that plan…” He began as his panting slowed.
Vegeta groaned. “Ugh, not now. Let’s sleep on it.” Kakarot chuckled in agreement before succumbing to sleep and Vegeta followed soon after.

Things have been hell lately. :( Not only did I practically fail every test I took in the past week, but I got into a car wreck. >< And I’ve never been in one before and now I’m all stressed out because now I gotta call everyone and…I don’t wanna. :/ But that’s what I get for being a dumbass. >.> Anyway…*watches a cricket crawl across the back of the couch I’m sitting on* either I’ve drank too much mountain dew or there’s a plague of insects swarming into my basement apartment. O.o *mumbles to self* It’s like the twentieth one I’ve killed this week. I hate it here. >.> *kills cricket*
So…this will probably be the last lemon for a while. I thought about skipping it, but…since it’ll be the last lemon for a while…I thought I’d write it all out anyway. :) And…I couldn’t think of what else to put in the chapter, so I kinda just threw in the lemon. >.>
