Chapter 18

The next day Edward walked into HQ leaving Alphonse back at the dorm where he felt he’d be the safest and Alphonse didn’t mind anyways.

Edward walked to the closed double doors and knocked on them and heard Roy admit him in and he opened the door. He saw Roy wasn’t dressed in his normal uniform instead he was dressed in rather snappy clothes. He was dressed like a pimp with hat intact Ed thought he looked sexy as the suit was pin stripes. He just didn’t know what it was about Roy in pin stripes but he looked so hot maybe it was cause it was something different to his normal uniform.

Ed shut the door “Wow Colonel looking good,” Edward said in a playful tone and walked across the floor toward him. “We going on a date?” He joked and slid his arm around Roy’s side and laid his head on his chest.

Roy smirked and laid his head on Edward’s golden head and rubbed the back of it and played a bit with his braid. “Well I guess we are both going on an outing together, so kind of like a date but I don’t think anything to romantic will happen while on this date” Roy said and kissed Edward on the forehead quickly before he broke the hug, just in case someone happened to walk into the room.

“Oh I see well what is up then?” Edward wondered crossing his arms now the kiss on his forehead still tingled.

“Well, your going to need to put some rags on and look like my little whore, we will sneak out of here by using your alchemy skills going through the sewer and coming out from another direction then out of HQ it would look funny and people would know who we were right away.” Roy gave a deep chuckle thinking about how stupid it would be to try and just walk straight out of HQ then again maybe they could pull it off but he didn’t want to be to careless either.

Roy gave Ed the rags he’d need to wear and Ed unbraided his hair and now he looked very much like a poor rent boy. Roy thought it kind of made him sad really, “So how do I look?”

“Hmn like a cute little rag a muffin,” Roy said tweaking Edward’s nose who then wiggled it some.

“Ha ha ha, don’t say small!” Edward grumbled before he clapped his hands bent down and touched the floor to Roy’s office making their door of escape together the couple walked down the metal steps and into the smelly sewer bellow which Roy nor Edward were actually to pleased to be walking in and very grateful to exit once they got to a place where they had marked that no one would see them coming from. Or so they had thought they came out of a pipe that was on the run down side of town and walked up the hill from the river that ran behind the city. They came through and ally way and onto the side walk.

Roy slid his hand over Edward’s shoulder automatically feeling the need to protect him from whatever nasty monsters may pop out of the other dark alley ways. He had his hand in his pocket holding his glove just in case he had to act fast.

A red haired boy with blue eyes was sitting on some cement steps leading up to one of the old rundown buildings he was watching Roy and Ed and decided Roy might be better off with him then the other boy he was escorting. “Heya Sir I could show you a much better time then that tiny pip squeak!” He said standing up and fallowing after them.

Edward growled and was going to turn around and run over and clobber the red haired boy right in the face but Roy easily tugged him a long by his shirt collar. “No thank you!” Roy called not even looking back.

“Let me go!” Edward demanded “He no right to call me a runty shirmpy shrimp!” Roy slung his arm around Ed’s waist and put him over his shoulder which kind of made it very hard for Edward to do anything else now if he did kick he’d hurt Roy and he didn’t want to do that.

“Edward, will you shut up and stop making a fool of yourself,” Roy growled lowly into Edward’s hip then gave his ass a smart swat.

“Hey!” Ed snapped when he felt the harsh sting of Roy’s hand meeting his smooth cheek hidden behind the ratty brown pants. “Fine I’ll behave you can put me down geez,” Ed muttered and put his hand back and rubbed it as Roy set Ed firmly on his feet.


“Good boy,” Roy said then they walked across the street toward the brothel Roy already had a few men stationed around in case there was a real problem. Edward of course didn’t know this Roy already had pretty much everything set in motion Roy just wanted to fry the three main bad guys. Which the only way to do that was to find out for sure who they were and he’d have to do that by playing master pimp.

Roy walked up to the building it looked very run down with many stories and it was thin white washed building or it had been at one point now it was kind of faded and grayish. Roy n Ed walked up the steps and Roy opened the door and inside it was also a very sad site to see. There was drugged up boys of all ages leaning on each other on either side of the walls on hard benches as if they were waiting for someone to check them out like in the market.

There was a door on the left hand corner of the room the whole place smelled of drugs and sex that was for sure. Roy’s eyes narrowed at the site of all the boy’s drugged and in not much clothes he noted though most of them were very pretty despite the dirt on their faces, this could bring back memories again for the Colonel he knew how they felt that was for sure so his heart went out to them all.

A boy near to the closed door noted Roy and Edward and quickly he got up and knocked on the door. A few moments later the door came open, “I thought I told you not to bug us!” Came the gruff voice of one of the pimps he had long black hair with grey strikes in it and he looked like he could stand a shave. The other was tall and bald, the third one wasn’t there.

“I am sorry that he troubled you on my account but you have a guest,” Roy said fuming already and starting to slip his hand into his glove.

The men looked up at Roy not to happy at all, “and who the hell are you!?” The long haired man demanded to know.

“Well I was just another Pimp coming by to see if perhaps we could traded but I’d like to talk with the owners of this brothel first before I do that,” Roy answered to their demands of who they were. He placed his hand on Edward’s back as if to show what he was meaning by trading.


The bald man walked across the floor to look at Edward he grabbed his chin and turned his face from side to side. Edward felt his hand on his chin it felt greasy and his breath on his face was rank and hot. “Well we are the owners,” the man answered him seeming to like what he was seeing before he knew it Roy had shoved him away from Ed he had not wanted these men to get that close ever to Ed.

“That will do you don’t need to touch him because you are under arrest you sick freaks!” Roy said and punched the man in the face then took his gloved hand out and snapped his fingers and set him on fire to the point he could moved but not kill him. As this happened the other owner came in the front door to see this he was going to shot Roy in the head but Edward saw him coming and clapped his hand and bent down and touched the ground and made the floor boards rise up and knocked the gun out of his hand while he wrapped a big wooden fist that closed firmly around his body.

“Take that asshole,” Edward smirked proud of himself for helping Roy out like he just did and making sure the gun didn’t even go off.

“Good Job Fullmetal,” Roy said looking over at him as Edward looked at Roy Ed heard the gun go off a cross the room and he saw that the man had shot right at Roy’s head the only thing Ed had time to do was to jump in front of the bullet the bullet sunk into his right shoulder just missing the metal plate and it bled instantly and Roy caught Ed with one arm before he fell to his knees Roy snapped his fingers before the man could fire another shot he toasted him to a mere crisp.

“Are you ok Colonel?” Edward wondered as his body was draped over Roy’s arm like a rag doll and blood was dripping down to the ground now Ed was feeling light headed.

“Ah worry more about yourself Edward” Roy said very worried “How could you do that you fool?” Roy demanded to know and scooped Edward up in his arms and bolted from the building not caring about anything else now but Edward.

“Hey you’d do the same for me right?” Edward wondered his face was pretty pale but he gave a Roy a sure smile believing Roy would do the same.

“Of course I would but damn it I don’t want to lose you!” Roy didn’t even realizes how fast he was moving all he knew was he wanted to get his honey to the hospital and fast.

Roy got to the other side of town very fast and into the hospital pretty much kicking down the door it was the military hospital so most people knew who Roy was.”SOMEONE get me a stretcher Fast Fullmetal Needs a stretcher now or I will fry someone’s ass!” There was a flurry of nurses and doctors that rushed around Roy and swept Edward out of his arms and too the emergency room.
