Nameless Ship

“HEERO I MISSED YOU!” Duo raced onto the ship to hug his lover whom he shared a kiss with. Trowa and Wufei followed some way behind while Noin and Sally came out to load the rover onto the ship.
“Successful mission I take it?” Heero said as he eyed the metal case Trowa carried. The captain nodded as he proceeded to his vault. “Tell Duo to set a course for mars. We leave in two hours.”
“Yes sir.”
Heero looked over at his lover who exchanged a tired gaze. “You heard him.”
“Yea yea” Duo yawned hauling himself to the control room. “They just don’t cut a brother a break now, do they?” Heero heard him mutter as he walked off.

“Where about are we headed cap’” Duo said over the vidcom in Trowa’s office.
“Take the Hyper transport just outside the asteroid belt, that will take us a bit more then half way. Wait for further instructions.”
“Yes Sir!” Duo did a sarcastic salute after the cam was shut off. “He’s such a bully. God!”
“We’ll you try to run a business like him with federation on your tail and see if you don’t bark out orders.” Heero said as he entered the control room and offered Duo some coffee.
Smiling weakly the braided boy gave him a small kiss and accepted the drink.

“When will I get my surprise onna?”
“Ahh I can’t tell you. How was the “trip”?”
“Arg it was agony! The only thing that kept me from killing that pilot was the fact that you wouldn’t be happy.”
“Well he is the best mechanic so we kinda need him.”
“Hn…” Wufei let out a small moan as Sally moved around to his back and started to massage his shoulders. Sally smiled to herself and kissed his neck.

“Captain? Would you like anything? I mean knowing you; you probably haven’t eaten for a while?”
“Hm… You seem to know me too well Lt.” Trowa said to Noin.
Noin smile and asked what he was hungry for. The captain said simply hot soup before Noin left.

“Alright. Hello this is your pilot speaking. We will be taking off shortly in about 15 mins. The weather is a sunshiny day and with the winds and all we should have an easy take off. @ This time please make sure your seatbelts are on and your tray tables tools whatever are secure so they don’t wreck any thing and we’ll take off as soon as I get the green.” Duo said in a sarcastic voice as he waited for the 7 little green lights on his panel to turn on and signal everyone was ready. The lights all came on in about 10 mins just as he finished his coffee and Noin came in to help with take off.
“Where’s Wufei?” Duo asked curious to the where abouts of his second co-pilot.
“Well Sally said he was kinda tied up so you tell me.”
The two smiled to themselves as the engines started and the ship lifted into the air and flew off.

Noin looked over @ the pilot after take off and found him looking a little green.
“Are you ok Duo?”ea …ea ……Coffee……not friend.” He said as he pushed his seat back and put his head between his legs.
Noin smiled and offered to take the controls and relieve him. Duo shook his head but moments later bulleted out of the cockpit and to the bathroom.
“He really shouldn’t fly on an empty stomach.” Noin smiled.

Trowa sat in his room working some hours later when he thought he heard a knock at his door. “It’s open.” He said.
Nobody answered or entered. He repeated him self again and when nobody came in he reluctantly pushed himself from his desk and opened the door.
“You?” said to a small orange cat.
The creature just meowed a little before jumping into the captains arms.
“You know, Komainu. You’re starting to put on some weight.”
Closing her eyes the cat purred and climbed on to Trowa’s shoulders where she curled up.
Trowa sighed to himself as he sat down on his bed. “Aren’t the stars beautiful? Even though I was born in space and I see the stars so often I can’t help but marvel at their beauty.” He said talking to the cat. Even the earth that was just now coming into view of his window was an extraordinary sight. “Look @ me… talking to a cat like I don’t get out enough…”
The feline purred and pressed her head against his neck affectionately. Trowa had found the cat on one of his deliveries 3 years ago. She had been burnt in a fire and had fallen asleep out side the man’s safe house that night. The next morning when Trowa walked out and found the creature it was barley hanging on to life. He had taken the animal with him to the ship in a towel and nursed the cat back to health within 3 weeks.
Now it was almost hard to tell anything had ever happened except a jagged scare across her left eye. The two had made a good pair since then and when Trowa wasn’t on a delivery or in his office she was usually with him.
“You’re such a lazy cat you know that Komainu?”
Shutting her eyes with a smile the cat licked his neck and leapt to the bed so he could lay down.
“Haaa. Just think one of these days we can stop all this useless travel and find a nice place on a colony to settle down. I might start a farm and have some horses and other exotic animals and you and I can just chill…”
“Captain…?” the familure voice of the co-pilot came over the com in the mans room.
“Yes what is it Lt?”
“We’re nearing the asteroid belt and Duo can’t function properly so I was curious what I should do.”
“Have you ever flown through an asteroid belt Lt.?”
“Once in flight school.”
“How well did you do?”
“Umm…I survived…”
Trowa wasn’t happy with the answer but since he knew that Duo got space sickness, she was the only person who could get through.
“I’m leaving our ship and lives in your hand Lt. Don’t screw up.”
“Yes Sir I’ll do my best.” She said with a nod. “Attention all passenger. This is your co-pilot speaking. We are closing in on the asteroid belt and the Captain has given me the green to proceed through so please fasten your safety belts and I’ll be on my way.”
Again all the lights came on and the woman proceeded through the mass of rocks.

“We’re all gonna DIE!!!” Wufei panicked not having any faith in the weak onna…
“Shut up we’re fine. She’s a good pilot and she won’t let us get hurt.” Sally said to try to calm the Chinese boy.
“You only say that because you don’t want to feel bad when we all get blown up!”
“God shut up Wu!”

15 minutes past until the Noin came back over the speaker and announced they were clear of the asteroids. She then contacted the captain and asked about the hyper transport up a head.
“Do not proceed through the transport. Wait for Duo.”
“Yes sir …”
Trowa stalked out of his quarters to the hanger were he knew he would find the pilot.
“Alright Duo where are you?” he called.
A small moan answered his question as he walked over to the boy(s).
“God! people work in here you know?” Trowa said as he rounded a corner and quickly regretted it. He had found HeeroxDuo as if they were alone in their room.
“Sorry captain.” Duo said with a blush as he gently pulled Heero out of himself.
The two dressed quickly and met their captain in the room that adjoined the hanger.
“Are you done?”
“No… we weren’t.”
“Well you seem to be looking better now, how come you haven’t joined Noin and relieved her.”
“Because Heero …yea… I wasn’t feeling well…”
The boy received a death glare from his captain that caused him to recoil behind his love“Noi“Noin just past us through the asteroid belt now sheds yds you to go through the transporter.”
“Yes sir…”Duo said with his head bowed. He left quickly to aid his co-pilot and get away from Trowa.
Heero stood @ attention awaiting his orders.
“I can replace you… remember that. Don’t let your love get in the way of our mission or our safety. Is that clear?”
“Crystal, sir.”
Trowa left the hanger and headed back to the cock pit to make sure Noin didn’t tare Duo’s heff wff when founfound out what he had been doing.
“Transport open. Engines shut down. All backup systems green.”
The ship thr through the transporter @ breakneck speed and came out on the other side about 2 weeks from Mars. It was Noin’s turn to use the bathroom this time.
