Transient Behaviors
This one\'s PG as well, though they do go up in rating as you read them
The hurricane that had swept over the farthest tip of South America had been transient in its behavior, appearing out of nowhere and then just as suddenly dissipating. The coast-line had been ravaged and the buildings were destroyed. At least no one had been hurt. Goku looked over the destruction with sorrow and helplessness. He knew what had caused this wreckage, a royal Saiyajin temper tantrum, he just didn’t know how why.
The hurricane was the final straw. Vegeta’s rage and anger had caused devastation on every continent: avalanches in Russia, a typhoon off the coast of Japan, sandstorms over the Arabian desert, forest fires in the North America, and polar warming that sent icebergs adrift. Vegeta’s sulking had disrupting the world’s very eco-system and he had to be stopped.
Goku lifted two fingers to his forehead and transmitted to Vegeta’s location.
“Nice hurricane, did quite a bit of damage.” Goku leaned against the GR’s control panel as he watched Vegeta’s fluid motions above him. “I don’t suppose you’d mind explaining why you just destroyed Cape Horn.”
An answering grunt and a white blast of energy he easily blocked was the only response Goku got.
“If you want to destroy the earth it would be easier to go out into space and blast it, instead of destroying it a piece at a time.” Goku swatted away a second blast and floated up to Vegeta.
“Are you planning on disrupting the weather anymore this week?” Goku continued as if Vegeta had never attacked him. “You could just tell me what you plan on trashing next and I can be there to clean up your mess.”
“That would defeat the purpose, since it’s you I was trying to get away from.” Vegeta complained bitterly.
“Me? I haven’t seen you in over four months. What’d I do?”
Vegeta growled, then floated down to the GR floor followed by Goku. He grabbed a towel wiping his face and chest before continuing. “Just forget it. Don‘t worry about your miserable planet, I won‘t be doing anymore damage.”
“Why are you mad at me?”
“I’m not.”
The look of incredulously that washed over Goku’s face made Vegeta smirk.
“Fine. Then what’s the problem?”
“The truth?” At Goku’s nod Vegeta continued. “I had a unpleasant decision to make.”
“ Decision...? And have you?”
“What?”
“Decided?!”
“Yes.”
Goku groaned in frustration. Getting information out of Vegeta was like squeezing water from a stone, almost impossible.
“I don’t suppose you’ll tell me what you were trying to decide?” Goku asked patiently.
“And I don’t suppose you’re done wandering all over the damned globe yet!” Vegeta snapped back angrily.
“What does that have to do with this?” Goku questioned impatiently.
“When you’re finished, let me know. Until then...leave me alone.”
“Then you’ll tell me what all this was about?”
“You’ll be the first to know.” Vegeta smirked. Throwing the sweat-soaked towel at Goku, who caught it easily, he leisurely walking away, leaving an extremely confused Saiyajin behind.
