Chapter 2
\"See you later Duo!\" Hilde called as she slipped on her shoes and made it down to the circus tent. Catherine was there to greet her and took her to a special seat in the front row.
The performance was spectacular, animal tricks, high-wire stunts, the knife-throwing act, and the new performance, truly amazing, Trowa stood in a large ring of fire, about ten other of the stunts-men on the outside, each holding at least five knives each. They would randomly throw one at a time, and Trowa would flip, jump, twirl, anything to dodge the knives.
Hilde watched intently, her head resting in her palm, with elbow propped up on the rim of the wall of the ring. She sighed as she watched his every movement, and watched him walk out around back. She shook her head, lowering her arm. \"What am I thinking? I\'m with Duo now... I can\'t be thinking of past crushes..\"
At that moment Catherine walked over to Hilde and tapped on her shoulder. \"Hey Hilde, wanna join Trowa and I for a drink?\" Hilde hesitated and was about to answer when she took her arm and dragged her out of the tent. \"Don\'t worry, Duo can last a night alone.\" Hilde wasn\'t sure what to do but let her drag her on. \"I guess...\" Catherine gave her a smile and took her to the fairly large trailer. Trowa was already dressed; he had a dark blue satin dress shirt on and a pair of dark blue jeans. Catherine had left her in the doorway as she went to get changed as well. Hilde just stared blankly at Trowa; he didn’t pay much attention, as his sights were set out the window. When Catherine returned, all dressed up, Trowa just placed his hands in his pockets and turned to exit the door, but stopped when his hand rested on the knob. “You two ready?” He asked, not even slightly angling his head to look at the girls standing side by side. Catherine nodded excitedly with a smile, while Hilde just nodded unsure.
