Chapter One: Awaken
In Amestris there are 7 Homunculus or Sins as they call them. They are: Lust, Greed, Envy, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, and Wrath. They were dangerous to the humans of Amestris. But it was only cause they weren\'t understood. And they never will be.
Let\'s begin this tale at the months after the death of Edward Elric. His brother now stands in an abandoned warehouse in front of a huge Transmutation Circle that covers the ceiling and surrounding walls. He had all the ingredients necessary for the perfect amount of exchange including several incomplete Philosopher Stones also known as Red stones. It looked liquid like on the floor surrounding the circle, but yet they were quite solid.
Alphonse kneeled on the floor close to the array. \"Brother, Your the only real person who cared for me.\" Alphonse said softly to no one really. Alphonse\'s eyes were distant as he stared at the array. After Ed\'s death, Winry wouldn\'t even look at Alphonse. No one talked to him. Everyone seemed to have forgotten Al was even there. At times, Winry locked him out of their home. Alphonse sighed out heart broken. \"Brother, I know this didn\'t work the first time when we both did it. But this time, I hope it works. Everyone misses you.\" Alphonse clapped his hands together and placed them onto the cold concrete floor.
The array awoke with life, streams of the light seemed to lift off of the ground. The light encircled the inside of the warehouse. The light was a beautiful bluish white color, and then it shifted and turned red. In Human Transmutation, red was a horrible light reaction. It meant death to the activator.
Screams echoed in the alleys near the warehouse. No one heard them.
Chapter One: Awaken
In the middle of the array laid a boy with long blond hair that spread across his back and somewhat over his shoulder. He opened his eyes that were an odd color. Around his pupil was the color of violet, and the rest of the eye color was amber. His skin was a sickly pale color, and he had no clothing on him. He clumsily stood up and looked around the warehouse he was in. He felt cold and couldn\'t shake the feeling.
He knew he needed clothing. He saw a pile of clothing next to a letter. He walked over to the clothing and letter. He picked up the letter. At first he really couldn\'t make out the writing, but in a minute, he understood the letter fully. He felt like he knew the handwriting. He reread it.
Dear Edward,
I\'m sorry, but I couldn\'t live without you. Everyone ignored me for the past five months since you died. I\'m really sorry. I knew I wouldn\'t live through the transmutation, but I hoped. I guess if your reading this note I didn’t survive I love you Nii-san. The clothing is for you. You\'ll probably need them.
Love,
Al.
~Al? Alphonse?~ Edward thought as he put on the black jeans and tank top, then put on the black outer coat. Even with the clothes on he felt cold. ~ You died didn\'t you?~ He looked over the warehouse noticing blood on the floor, but no reminds of the other boy. ~You did. Why did you do it? You knew you wouldn\'t live. ~ Edward felt the loss of the younger boy, but he didn\'t really sense it.
Edward sighed and walked out of the warehouse, caring less of the mess inside of it. He felt the bitter cold of the wind that hit him as he stood outside. He took a deep breath and looked at the dark starless sky. He started walking down the stone street as the street lamps came on one by one. He knew where he was. He was in Central. This was where he spent most of his life. The other half of his life was out in the country, in a town he didn\'t really remember.
~I died. Someone brings me back. I wish they left me dead. I hate this cold. ~ He saw movement out of the corner of his eye. He stopped and looked behind him. Saw nothing. He turned and stepped forward only to bump into a solid object and fall backwards. \"Oi, Chibi-san. Welcome to the cold side of Hell.\" The familiar voice of a once rival rang in the boy\'s ears.
