Chapter Two- Battle!!!

~Ed\'s POV~
Seeing Gluttony there was unexpected. But with that leg and rags was a big shock. Those rags...I\'ve seen them before. Then it
hit me. Rosé! With each thought my grip weakened. Gluttony had eaten Rosé and her baby. Though if he ate Dante, I wouldn\'t
care.
Looking into Gluttony\'s eyes, I could see that his memories were wiped out and all he thinks about is food.
The girl beside me shook violently, she let go of Alphonse and me. She walked away from Gluttony as fast as she could. From her
facial expression she was scared out of her wits. As if it was in slow motion, she tripped over.
Gluttony saw this as a chance and rushed over to her as quick as possible.
I ran in front of Gluttony to stop him in his tracks. The look on his face showed that he would devour me as well. I clapped my
hands together and made a spear from the ground. Gluttony\'s smile grew bigger and drool was dripping from the side of his mouth.
Putting the sharp end of the spear in front of me as protection, I charged towards him.
I yelled. \'This is for Rosé!\'
I stabbed him in the head, yanked the spear out and slashed him horizontally. Blood splurted outwards. Gluttony was split in half by
the waist.
~The Girl\'s POV~
I can\'t believe that Edward would run in front of that maniac. Though seeing the maniac get sliced in half relieved my fear a bit. But
when I saw that he was starting to regenerate. I totally freaked. The look on Edward\'s face showed that he expected that.
\'I know you have been killed three times. How many more till you die?\' Edward inquired.
More than one life? What is he talking about?
My eyes widened...a homunculus?
The more I thought about it, the more I was sure. It made sense.
The homunculus looked at Edward and smiled. I saw n his tongue, the tattoo of the Uroboros. With new determination the
homunculus charged at Edward.
~Ed\'s POV~
Shit!! I didn\'t expect him to be this fast.
I dodged him in the nick of time. That was too close for comfort. I looked at the spear, it was bitten in two. Damn, why did I
underestimate him? This is bad I might not last long.
I dodge one of the blows that Gluttony forced. I clapped my hands together and slammed them on the ground. I forced the
ground to spike up, one of them hit him but not severely enough to kill him. Before he could regenerate, I ran at full speed
towards him. I clapped my hands together and was about to transmute my automail arm to my usual blade. I realized that I
didn’t have my automail arm.
Shit! He finished regenerating.
Gluttony came charging towards me. He had his fists aiming at me.
This is bad. Really bad.
I gathered my thoughts.
…Now if I have the timing right I can get out of this little mess. By his speed I judge that after three seconds should do the trick.
One…two…three!
I flipped backwards out of Gluttony’s reach.
This is getting bad. I must get out of this situation. I landed on the ground with a thud. I looked around, Gluttony wasn’t in sight.
~The Girl\'s POV~
Amazing! I can\'t believe that Edward transmuted those spikes from the ground, amazing. It was a shame though that it didn\'t injure
the homunculus badly enough. Edward ran forward and clapped his hands together, I think he was going to transmute but stopped in
his tracks. Then the homunculus charged towards Ed with his fists aiming straight at him. Edward stood there waiting. After three
seconds or so, Edward did a back flip. The homunculus climbed up to the ceiling and perched on a beam. Edward landed on the
ground and looked around. He was clearly puzzled that the homunculus was gone.
From the ceiling the homunculus watched, then launched himself like a rocket.
\'Look out! Above you!\' Alphonse yelled.

(Edward clapped his hands and quickly transmuted a baseball bat. Edward slammed the bat with full force into the homunculus.
The homunculus flew out of the church. \'Strike!\' Edward called. ‘And the crowd goes wild!’) Ha ha...it\'s a joke.

Edward clapped his hands and quickly transmuted coils from the ground and wrapped them around the homunculus. It stopped the
homunculus in its tracks. The homunculus struggled in the coils. Then without hesitation, he ate himself free from the bindings and
went after Edward again. A spike came up from the ground and speared straight though the homunculus. The homunculus went limp.
Edward looked back. Alphonse crouched there smiling. Edward smiled back and gave him thumbs up. There was a sizzling sound
behind Edward. The homunculus regenerated again and grabbed Edward by the neck.
Edward was chocking. Alphonse ran to help Edward, but was flung aside. I had to do something. Alphonse was knocked out and
Edward was going to die. I got to my feet. I forced my legs to run. Each step was painful, but Edward needed me. I clapped my
hands together and slammed them on the homunculus. Then, as hard as I could I smashed into him.
A second later he burst and there was a show of purple fireworks. I was worn out, but I saved Edward. I smiled to myself. Then I
slipped into darkness.
