I've never put anyone in the hospital before (not counting my mom when she was having me), and I don't want to start now. So glad you liked and yes, there may have to be more... Will have to work out the chronology because I was trying to stick to canon and this is set at the end of #39 (Secret of Ishbal or Eastern Civil War, depending where you look for the info). I haven't seen past #40, but I have an idea what comes next. Just don't know when these two meet up again. I was thinking Ed's gonna have some time to think on the way to Lior, though, and it'd be fun to run the scene through again from his POV... Plus, I really just want to write more of them. So, I'm working on it. You'll notice I changed the chapter listing from "1/1" to "1/?". Thanks for requesting, I'll try!
JouKami: You're right, Hughes and Roy are extremely hot together and I love the roll reversal for Roy, who usually plays so dominant, especially in his relationship with Ed. I think so many people pair Ed and Roy together because there's such heavy chemistry between them. Also, they really do stir each other up and as many of us know from RL (Real Life), when someone makes you that angry, it often means you have feelings for them... And they make each other REALLY angry... hence all the intense, hot yaoi... At the end of episode 39, just after Ed makes his deal with Archer and Roy busts in on them, angry as hell, there's this little bit where Ed and Roy are walking down the hallway and when Ed shuts him down with a little dig at Roy's decision to keep Ed in the dark about Lior, Roy just watches him walk away, hands clenched at his sides and gives out this little growl of frustration. That growl is what made me write this story... I knew it'd only take him a few steps to catch up with Ed. And being as territorial as he is, I would think he'd be very possessive and needing to mark that territory... Thanks for the review and I hope this explains things a little...
The anyone wondering, I am going to try to do another, just following this one. Just need to work out the chronology because I'm trying to stick to canon with this one. My thanks to all who have read. This is my first yaoi. It was fun to write it and it's been even more fun to read people's responses to it...
