I might be un-liked. Eh, I can make it up, I suppose. And since the first (and only) review I got requested Mirai, so I’ll try to see if I can push him in somewhere.
In case you are unaware, Kushami is the name of the blond Lunch/Ranchi/Launch.

-thinking- “talking”

Chi-Chi rolled over in the bed, wondering why she felt so restless. Then she realized that Goku’s snoring had stopped. To Chi-Chi, this meant that it was dawn (when he would normally wake), and that it was time for her to get up, too. But as she rose, she found that something was amiss: it was still quite dark outside, and even if the day began later with the winters, Goku rose only at first light. She rubbed her eyes and looked around the room. Her husband was not there.

She stretched her arms and exited the room, vaguely wondering what hour it was as she looked in the bathroom and the kitchen, and concluded that he didn’t wake up in the middle of the night for any normal reason. -Should I look around for him some more, or just go back to bed?- A yawn rising from her throat answered her question for her, and she returned to her bedroom and retreated into the blanket.

“He’ll be back in the morning,” she mumbled, soon feeling heaviness pulling her again, “If he isn’t, I’ll go… look for…”

A loud ringing pounded through Bulma’s head. Her eyes dully blinked open, and she literally pulled herself from the blueprints she had been working on the night before. The ink from the drawing and some saliva that had pooled from her mouth was smeared both on her face and on the paper, and she cursed herself over the sticky mess momentarily.

The ringing continued: it was her telephone. She snatched it up and grunted into the receiver, “What is it?”

“Bulma, this is Chi-Chi. Are you okay?”

She wiped her face with her free hand. “Yeah… I just stayed up last night doing some work. What’s up?”

“Is Goku there? Or do you have any idea where he is?”

“I haven’t been outside the room, so I don’t know.” She glanced over at the LED clock on her desk. “It’s only 7 A.M., though. I doubt he would come over here this early in the morning.”

“Well, could you please check? I can’t help but worry, with how Goku is, you know.”

Bulma set the phone aside and drug herself to the door, opening it and immediately calling for her droid… before remembering that it had been destroyed the night before.

Regardless, her mother heard her cry and popped her head out from the botanical garden. “Oh! Bulma! What is it that you need?”

“Mom, do you know if Goku’s here?”

“I’m afraid he hasn’t been around for a while, dear.”

“You sure? He might be training with Vegita in the gravity chamber, after all.”

“I don’t think so. Vegita hasn’t been in the house all day.”

“Huh? Then where is he?”

The blond shrugged. “I don’t know, but he didn’t do any of those chores that you told him to do.”

“God! The mighty prince can fight evil super beings but can’t do simple things like wash the fucking floors!” Bulma ranted as she returned to the study.

Kushami stepped out of the public bathroom, humming and chuckling out of joy, even waving at the people she walked by as she left the restaurant. She felt so excited, and she found that it took a good deal of her willpower to squelch the desire to make some sort of girlish squeal. It was a good thing that she decided to take the test while she was out instead of at home; Tenshinhan would have sensed her unusual behavior immediately, and she didn’t want him to know until after she’s seen the doctor. It was to be a surprise.

The only other people who knew about her little plan were Chouzu and, of course, Lunch. She didn’t want to tell Chouzu at first, but Lunch seemed to have accidentally blurted it out to him. So he ended up becoming part of the scheme, primarily distracting Tenshinhan from anything that might clue him in to what was happening, and turned out good at it. It only took a signal from Kushami for him to bring Tenshinhan outside to train if he seemed to be snooping around the subject.

-Now to business-, she thought as she instinctively prepared her hand towards the capsules in her pockets and left towards a target, being a decently sized jewelry store (not too large since she wanted the job over and done fairly quickly today). She knew about jewel thieving, and she knew enough to not go in from the front, blasting away like she did with most of her hold-ups. She once rogued around with a group that wouldn’t think twice on doing such a thing, but they used machetes instead of guns. Kushami was never much for knives, so if you’re going to gun it, you gun it from the back.

It only took a nonchalant stroll into the allies of the city, which would have worried most women with the sky showing the first colors of twilight, but she knew better. If you don’t attract attention to yourself by looking scared or suspicious, people left you alone. And it proved even truer if you’re not from the area; a confident air of a stranger almost always meant that they were somehow armed.

The backdoor to the store was not out of sight when she saw a woman walking up from the other direction towards her. –Must be an employee.- Kushami subtly slowed her pace and kept her head low while observing the woman. But instead of slowing and going into the building, the woman continued straight for Kushami.

-She’s coming towards me on purpose.- Kushami stopped walking and looked the woman straight in the eye, just then realizing that she had a strange pink tint to her skin and snow-white hair that almost glittered. “Who are you? A cop? ‘Cause I never saw a cop that looked like you.”

The woman stopped as well and grinned, and she adjusted her glasses slightly. “Enrou. I am a Tou-jin scientist in need of a little help from your people on some research.”

Kushami scoffed. “Then what’re you doing in an ally like this? Shouldn’t you be going for the United Nations or something like that? Talk to the president, or something!”

“We would prefer not to have a lot of publicity or attention. We just want some samples to work with, and I’m sure—” She pulled out a stunning pistol. “That you’ll do wonderfully.”

In a fraction of a second, Kushami had her own piece out, and was blasting away at the alien. “Bakayarou! Don’t underestimate me!”

The action took Enrou by surprise, and she dodged as well as she could. Despite her heightened agility, some shots still met, and her landing was thrown off enough for her shoulder to slam into a wall. She returned fire, and a beam made contact. Kushami fell unconscious to the ground.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

The clangs of the automatic door opening and closing alerted Suiitto. “Enrou, where have you been? I thought you were studying the population for the best candidates for our research, but when I looked in your study, you had disappeared.”

“I was doing just as you asked, Dr. Suiitto, but I had come across something particularly amazing while doing so. I went to gather the specimen myself, and I have been in the lab for the past hour studying it.”

“Oh? And what would that be?”

She grinned and beckoned him to follow her back into the lab. When they entered together, she gesticulated towards a glass pane, more particularly, towards an unconscious woman sprawled on the floor behind it. “She is one of the best Human specimens to turn into a Saiya-jin.”

Suiitto looked at her and frowned. “She has purple hair, Enrou. And I can tell that she isn’t particularly strong. Saiya-jin are born much stronger than Humans, and their hair can only be black or brown.”

“Yes, but sir, when you were studying those first two men, you were spending a lot of time on their several different transformations, right?”

“Hmm, yes. I don’t see the point you’re making, though.”

Enrou pressed a button, meant to send a slight electric pulse through the woman’s body. The woman sneezed in her unconscious state, and the deep violet locks flashed into a brilliant blond. “Viola! And her eyes, previously black, change to green with this state. With tests of electromagnetic impulses, I have found that she is also much stronger in this state than before. The strength isn’t substantial, but it’s not unlike that Saiya-jin transformation, ne?”

The superior scientist let out a boisterous laugh. “Good work, Enrou-san! I will need to do some more study on her myself, if you don’t mind? Could you have her strapped up in case she regains consciousness?”

“Certainly. May I ask what you were doing? It didn’t look like you were studying the males we obtained again.”

“I think that I might have gotten enough data from them. No, what I was doing was studying some more DNA that I happened to come across. It turns out that there were several other Saiya-jin males on this planet at some point that have died on the surface. They’re all male as well, but one has DNA almost exactly like the younger male’s. I have extracted their DNA from what I could find of their remains (which were their teeth for most of them) and I intend to clone them and accelerate their development to an age in their mid to late twenties. I intend to tamper with the DNA mirror to the younger male and make it female.”

“And that one will not be mating with the younger male, correct?”

“Correct, however I doubt there will be much of a problem in the long run even if they did. By the end of the cloning, we should have five males and two females, including that woman we’re going to alter soon. By the way, what were the other candidates you have come up with?”

“I centered around women of strength, particularly ones close to the living Saiya-jin, as you’ve asked. The woman I just obtained was one of them, otherwise I’ve been rather limited. Certainly, the younger’s mate will do well, but most other likely women have several problems. Currently, the strongest Human woman is part machine, and her human components have blond hair and blue eyes (hopefully, this isn’t due to her genetics, as I have found her twin brother as well, and he has black hair).

“If so, and you get one more woman, we’ll have five to five, a good start for a healthy gene pool.”

The phone rang loudly throughout the capsule house, and Tenshinhan’s shoulders twitched with each annoying ring, a part of his mind wondering why Lunch wasn’t picking it up. He rolled his eyes at himself and broke out of meditation. –Of course Lunch isn’t picking it up; She isn’t here!- He growled at himself and picked up the receiver. “…Moshi-moshi?” He grunted out, never particularly used to using the device.

“Ah! Tenshinhan!” A familiar voice said on the other side. “I was hoping that I could reach you through Lunch’s phone number. This is Bulma.”

“Yes. Why did you want to speak to me?”

“Well, I was wondering if you’ve seen Goku or Vegita lately.”

“I haven’t seen either since that whole fiasco with Cell. Have they gone missing?”

“Yes, actually… I know it’s not too uncharacteristic for either of them to just disappear like that, but when it’s at the same time…”

Tenshinhan rubbed the top of his head. “Actually, I was thinking about calling you on a similar subject…”

“Huh?”

“Lunch has been missing for the past few days. I normally would have put it off as her going on a thieving expedition of some sort, but she said that she would be back later that night when she left, albeit a little late. Plus, she has been acting strangely for about a month.”

“And why did you want to call me about it?”

“I figured that you might be able to find out if she got herself arrested through your computers… If you couldn’t find anything, I was going to start searching for her myself.”

“Oh…” Bulma hummed thoughtfully. “That’s very strange that she would disappear at the same time as Vegita and Goku. But I can’t see where there could possibly be a connection.”

“Since it’s brought up, could you possibly check for me?”

She made a whine, but agreed, and asked him to hold for a few minutes. Her voice returned. “I couldn’t find anything about her recently. I even hacked into the police’s central database to make sure. If she was in jail, it would be all over their records with how infamous she is.”

“I see… thank you, Bulma. Goodbye.” He hung up and sighed. A moment later, Chouzu was hovering beside him.

“Ten-san,” the childish thing said, having ‘overheard’ the conversation through telepathy.

“I’ll have to go look for her, then. Chouzu, you should stay in case you hear anything else here or if she returns.” He inwardly sighed as he contemplated why the disappearances coincided, only finding incredulous (and self-distressing) possibilities that only irritated more. –Thinking about it like this won’t prove any use.- He finally told himself before setting off.

Tou (Tou-jin) – Means a lot of things, but more particularly, sugar. By the way, I don’t own Sweet’n Low.
Bakayarou – Sort of a stronger “baka”. Lit. idiot-rascal.
So, I didn’t have any lemons yet. Heh, a slow one, I am! I would promise one in the next one, but that would be quite unprofessional of me. But there should be at least something of sexual worth in it, that I can promise you with full sincerity… mostly because I’m writing that at this moment.
