Stares
I don't own DBZ
Chapter 2: Stares
Goku let himself stare at the woman. The way she moved was mismerising. All she was doing was setting up for a bbq tonight but she just had a grace about her that no other woman on Earth had. How he wished he could have her. Besides her was her daughter, her mirror image. She didn't have the same grace about her that Bulma had, that was probably because of her fathers traits coming out in her.
"Stop staring at the food and drooling you moron," grumbled Vegeta.
Goku smiled, if only you knew he thought.
"But it looks so good and tasty," Goku whined.
"All you think about is food and perhaps fighting."
Goku flopped onto his back and let himself snicker. Vegeta was a smart person, second only to Bulma which was probably why they made such a good match. He thought about the changes that had occured in Vegeta since he had met Bulma and then let himself think about how Bulma had influenced his life. She certainly made an impact. He should have refused Chi-Chi but he couldn't help but be a man of his word.
He let himself look at Bulma once again. She was yelling at one of her bots who had just brought out the wrong plate of food. She was fired up and that was certainly a turn on. Her eyes looked wild and her stance looked as though she was ready to pounce and make a kill. He could see the fine lines that were starting to appear around her eyes. Age was catching up with the beauty before him.
"Hey Vegeta."
He saw Vegeta's eyes flicker towards him letting him know that he had the Prince's attention.
"Ever though about making a wish that our wives had the same life span as us?"
He could see Vegeta contemplating this in his mind. Goku couldn't help but admit he was curious as to what the Prince would say.
"No, because the woman wouldn't want that," Vegeta said with a shrug.
Goku shot Vegeta a look. Bulma not wanting to stay young?
"Why not?"
"Because while she might appear to be vain about her looks she is not. She is proud that at her age she still looks good and apparently people tell her so. Plus while she has me she has no need to attract any attention from another male."
Goku mulled over the answer he had recieved. Maybe he would ask her himself just to see if Vegeta was correct.
"Your harpy might want to be young again but that is your problem." Vegeta ground out.
"Still your not curious as to how she would look if she had the same life span as us?" Guko inqured.
"No."
Goku waited for more of a reply but he didn't get one.
He went back to watching Bulma prepare for tonight.
