Chapter 2

The Foreign Exchange Student: Chapter 2
Duo frantically paced in his room. He was excited about meeting this foreign exchange student for the first time. He had to wait until his place arrived tomorrow, but, he was so ready to pick him up from the airport. He would have some new to show his city to. Los Angeles was a big city and he couldn\'t wait to introduce this guy to everything that the city had to offer.
Duo was a rich, city kid, but he wasn\'t spoiled, not by a longshot. Even though, he grew up in one of the richest families in L.A., didn\'t make him spoiled at all. His parents are realtors and the head of Maxwell Realty, and they mostly deal with the multi-million dollar homes. His parents an apartment complex in the center of downtown, where Duo has his own apartment, right across from his parents. The foriegn exchange student was going to live with him. They didn\'t know each others names, but as soon as he gets off the plane, he will be led to Duo.
His school was out on Spring Break right now, and the spring break parties were in full bloom as of now. But, he didn\'t want to party, he wanted the time to pass by faster, so that he could meet this guy that he would be sharing an apartment with his upcoming senior year. He knew nothing about him except that he was from Japan and he could speak English. It was rather odd that he did not know his name, but that factor would just have to wait.
Duo brushed his hair, smiling at himself in the mirror, wondering what to wear to meet the mystery guy in tomorrow. It was late and he figured he should go to bed, but he was too excited, he wouldn\'t be able to sleep. He had to be at the airport at 10 a.m., but he had to leave early enough to actually get there by that time. He pulled his hair up in a high ponytail, that way he didn\'t have to braid it. It was hard work braiding it all, and he didn\'t feel like going to the salon early and get it done.
Tying his bathrobe, he slipped his houseshoes on and went downstairs. His maid had already left for the day, and the house was sparkling clean. He made sure not dirty up anything. The maid would be back again, early, because he had requested her to be, that way his apartment would be clean for his guest.
There was a knock on Duo\'s door. He hurried to answer it, wondering who it could be. He looked through the peephole and it was a delivery man. He opened the door.
"Mr. Duo Maxwell, I have a package for you. I need you to sign here, and here." He handed Duo a small envelope. Duo opened it quickly, it was from Okinawa Japan, it might have something to do with the foreign exchange student arriving. He took out a pair of car keys and a small note inside said, \'His name is Heero Yuy, take care of him for me. His car should have came too. Take it and get it washed and vacuumed for him, please.\'
"So, his name is Heero Yuy," Duo smiled, "Interesting."
"Oh, by the way, the car needs to be moved off my truck."
Duo dropped the things in his hands, and out fell a picture of this Heero Yuy. He had short, dark brown hair and deep cobalt blue eyes. He looked muscular, but he couldn\'t tell because of the school uniform. "Sir, I will have the hired help get to it. Come in, would you? I just have to phone them. They are on the first floor."
The delivery man walks in his apartment and is in awe. "I take it you are Solo Maxwell\'s only son, correct?"
Duo nodded at the man as he dialed the phone number. "Yes, this is Duo Maxwell. I just received a rather large package in the mail and I need some help with it. Actually, it\'s a car. Send a valet here to get the keys that way he can move it to the parking garage." Duo hung up the phone. "It\'s all taken care of now. Just gotta wait on the valet to come and get the keys.
Duo motioned for the delivery man to follow him. "I am going to wait in the lobby for him, so come on." Soon, after walking out there, the valet came to get the keys. "I want you to take the car and get it washed and vacuumed out. Make sure to put two coats of wax on it. Fill it up with gas for me too. Here\'s the keys, park it with my car in the parking garage and bring me the keys when you are done." Duo hands him $200. Use this for the expenses and keep the rest." He hands the delivery man $20. "Thanks alot," he says to him as he hands the money out.
Duo walks back into his apartment and decides to give his friend Quatre a call. He grabs the cordless phone and hops onto his couch. "Quatre, I got a picture of him in the mail and I found out his name! I am soooo excited! His name is Heero Yuy," Duo explained to him, so happy, he almost exploded.
"What does he look like?" Quatre asked, over the phone, "Is he a cutie?"
"Oh is he! I just got one picture of him and he is more than a cutie, he\'s a like a mega hottie!"
"I might have to come over and see this. Could I go with you to meet him?"
"Yeah, you sure could. Could you come over now and just go ahead and stay over. Would that be okay?" Duo asked.
"Oh yeah, that would be awesome! Let me get my things together and I will see you in a little bit," Quatre replied.
"Okay, see you then. Bye bye." With that, Duo hung up the phone. Duo held the picture up with both of his hands, just looking at Heero\'s face, studying it almost. This Heero certainly looked like an intriguing teenager indeed. Duo was crushing, seriously crushing and he had never met the guy. Now he awaited meeting him even more. He wondered what Heero could be like. Now he just had to think of what to wear. Quatre could help him pick that out. He just sat and waited looking at the picture that he had gotten of Heero.
