Prologue

'She has done well with her training here on my planet. I was concerned that her father's ego would effect her finding out that she was going to be the one that would keep this universe in order. I wonder how the Supreme Kai will take that when he finds out.' The elderly Dragon Kai muses. 'She is very close to becoming what her race calls a 'super Saiyan'. Their race is remarkable when it comes to fighting. They can copy techniques quickly. She'll be the one to finally put an end to Buu, but first, her new homeworld is being threaten by machines. It's time to pass the torch to her.'

Planet Earth...,

so these are the devices that let you absorb the energy out of Kakarotto." Vegeta says holding the devices that he had ripped off of 19..
"Why...,you...!" 19 starts to say as his computerized brain tries to figure a way to beat Vegeta.
"That's right android! Never say die!" Vegeta taunts and 19 attacks the prince again.
"Vegeta." Piccolo says in quiet astonishment.
"Do you think he's even stronger than my dad?" Gohan says.
"There's a good chance he has become stronger than Goku." Piccolo says as the group continues to watch the fight.
"What's the matter android? You were enjoying yourself when you were sucking the life out of Kakarotto." Vegeta says continuing to press his advantage.
'If this keeps up, 19 will lose all that he took from Goku. This transformation is far beyond the calculations that were made to compensate for their battles in space. At this rate I may have to retreat to my lab.' 20 thinks. Then to his shock and horror, 19 was blasted to pieces.
"Hahahahaha! I only wish there was a junk yard to bury him in." Vegeta says and turns to the other Android. "C'mon, I'm ready to turn you into lawn mower parts."
'He can't be serious. He has to be worn out from the fight with 19.' 20 thinks.
"Are you experiencing fear as well android?" Vegeta taunts.
"I will make you pay for what you've done. You don't have a chance against me. I am far superior to the android 19 model." 20 states.
"Then prove it."
"You're bluffing."
"Fine. If I'm bluffing then call my bluff." Vegeta offers.
'Damn it! I can't take that chance. I'll have to retreat to the lab and activate androids 17 and 18.' 20 decides and takes off.
"There he goes!" Krillin calls out. "He's heading for the hills."
"Hey baldy! Throw me one of those Senzu beans! Now!"
"W-w-what?"
"C'mon! He's getting away!"
"Do it Krillin." Piccolo says and Krillin reaches into the bag.
"I'll give him a small one." Krillin quietly jokes and tosses the bean to Vegeta who promptly eats it.
"Thanks, but there's no need for you weaklings to get involved. Why don't you go back home. I'll take care of the big bad android." Vegeta taunts and flies off.
"Why that...," Krillin begins to say.
"Vegeta may have an oversized ego, but he's brilliant when it comes to battle tactics." Piccolo states.
"Huh?" Krillin asks.
"yeah, he fooled that android good. Vegeta didn't have the energy to take on that second android, but Vegeta made a convincing bluff." Piccolo explains.
"Vegeta may be a super Saiyan now," Tien says, "but that doesn't mean that he's my leader."
"Right. Let's go and...," Piccolo starts but feels an approaching power level.
"Huh? Is that...?" Gohan says and Lily lands.
"Don't tell me...,let me guess. My father has once again rushed into another battle?" she asks putting her hands on her hips.
"Lily! It's good to see you." Gohan greets with a smile.
"We've got an android problem. Unfortunately, they can't be sensed unless someone is fighting one of them." Piccolo explains.
"Hm, let's see," Lily says pulling out the scouter and activating it, "ah ha, he can't hide his power from this thing. I'm guessing that the second source of power is our rouge android."
"Hey Lily, how come you've got a scouter with a clear eye piece?" Krillin asks.
"I modified this one. I didn't like those colored eye pieces. Now, let's go hunt down an android." Lily says and the four take off.

In flight...,

"Hey Lily?" Gohan asks as he flies beside her with his tail now showing.
"Yeah?"
"Where were you? Why didn't you come to Earth when the dragon brought everyone from Namek to the Earth.."
"I was redirected to the Dragon Kai's planet." Lily responds watching the readings her scouter was giving her.
"Dragon Kai!?" Piccolo asks.
"Yeah. It's his scale that was implanted into my genetic structure." Lily explains.

On the ground...,

'They can't find me as long as I stay on the ground. Maybe one of them will be dumb enough to leave themselves open and I can absorb their energy.' 20 thinks as he uses the terrain to his advantage. 'How could Vegeta be so strong? And what happened to Goku? My sensors detected that something was weakening his body besides 19's attacks. Could he have taken ill? That would be most fortunate and most ironic. The most powerful fighter beaten by a virus.' the android muses. 'I'm close. I'll make it if I can keep this pace.'

In flight...,

"Where could he be heading?" Tien asks.
"There's a large structure far up ahead. If our android keeps going the way he's going then he'll end up there." Lily answers.
"Why would he be going there?" Krillin asks.
"He's heading for Dr. Gero's lab!" Piccolo shouts.
"Why would he head their?" Tien asks.
"There may be more androids there." Piccolo surmises.
"Then let's fly ahead of him and lay an ambush." Lily suggests.
"Agreed. We can't let him get to that lab!" Piccolo says and the group of fighters increase their speed.

Back on the ground...,

'Damn it. I'm not making good time. I don't know how long I can continue like this before they eventually find me.' 20 thinks. Then he was attacked from his left by Piccolo.
"You aren't taking one step further." Piccolo says as the others immerge from their hiding places.
"How did you find my location!?" 20 fumes.
"For an android, you aren't very bright." Lily says as she puts away her scouter.
'That explains it! My power can't be hidden from a device like that. I can hide my power from their ability to sense energy, but I didn't have a scouter on hand in order to hide my energy output from that thing. Who is that girl? She can't be a Saiyan for her tail isn't the same.' "Who are you?" he asks Lily.
"Lily Vegeta." she states proudly.
"Vegeta!? That's impossible! You would have a primate like tail, not a wolf's tail!"" 20 shouts.
"Have you ever seen any female of my race?" Lily asks.
'She's right. This one is different though. Her hair isn't black like her father's.' "Even so, you're supposed to have a monkey like tail."
"I'm of the mating class." Lily spits back.
"Hey, you just leave them out of this. Your fight is with me." Piccolo firmly states.
"You think you can stop me Namek?" 20 taunts.
"Yeah, we've been preparing for you my friend." Piccolo says and prepares himself for battle.
'I must take his energy and then fly to the lab. Hopefully Vegeta will not get in my way.' Gero says and begins to fight Piccolo. As the battle rages on, a figure with light purple hair watches on in confusion.
'That's not the androids I fought in my time. Did Dr. Gero create others?" Trunks asks himself. 'And who is the girl?' His thoughts are soon cut short when he and the others hear Piccolo cry out from the android draining his energy.
"You may be strong, but you aren't strong enough.20 says continuing to drain Piccolo. The Namek finally gets out of 20's grasp. The android immediately takes flight and heads for the lab. His action came just before Vegeta let loose a kai blast.
"Damn it! I missed that bucket of bolts." Vegeta fumes.
"It's good to see you too." Lily states sarcastically.
"Hmph," Vegeta snorts and then gives his daughter a glare. "And just where have you been?"
"For your information I was taken to the source of that dragon scale Freeza used in creating me." Lily answers.
"What? You were?" Vegeta asks.
"Yes. The Dragon Kai apparently was the one who let all this happen."
"Dragon Kai?" Vegeta asks perplexed.
"Are you all right, Piccolo?" Gohan says after the Namek got to his feet with the help of a bean.
"Yeah kid. Hey Trunks!" Piccolo calls out to the lavender haired boy. The young hybrid steps out in view of everyone. "That android is heading back for Gero's lab. Are there any other androids there?" Piccolo asks.
'Trunks? This boy shares the same name as my son. wait a minute, he is my son!' Vegeta ponders.
"That's not one of the androids I've been fighting in my time." Trunks replies.
"As I suspected. When we saw Vegeta defeat one of Gero's machines I became suspicious that we were facing inferior models." Piccolo states.
"What are you saying Namek!?" Vegeta asks.
"I'm saying that Gero made more androids in this time than he did in Trunks's time. We've got to stop 20 before he activates anymore androids." Piccolo states.
"20!? The ones I face are 17 and 18." Trunks retorts.
"C'mon, you better follow us and explain more about those two." Piccolo states. "Gohan, go and make sure your dad gets back to his feet. I've got a feeling we're going to need him."
"Right." Gohan replies.
"I'll go with him. I'm not strong enough to face something that's stronger than a super Saiyan." Lily says and the two kids take off.

Gero's lab...,

"Good. I made it. Now to activate 17 and 18." 20 says and grabs the remote and begins to activate his reinforcements. The two androids come out of their pods and stand before 20.
"17, 18, Goku's friends are on their way here. I want you to stop them." 20 orders.
"I see you put yourself in an android body, Gero." 17 states calmly. "Why did you choose an energy absorbing model?"
"It suits my purposes. Now, go out there and eliminate those fools!" Dr. Gero orders.
"Who's this?" 18 asks looking at another sleeping model.
"Don't touch him! He's not fully functional!" Gero shouts.
"Why don't we see for ourselves." 18 says and begins to activate the one marked 16 after 17 had taken the remote from Gero. 'No more will you control us. We'll do what we want.' 17 thinks and crushes the controller after 18 hands it back to him.

In flight...,

"Hey, there's Bulma and Yajirobe!" Gohan says.
"I guess it's time to meet my little brother." Lily says and the two head for the ground.

On the ground...,

"Bulma!" Yajirobe complains, "Can't we take a rest!?"
"No! I want to see these androids and see if all that training did them any good!" Bulma fires back while holding Trunks.
"Hi guys!" Gohan says landing near the two.
"Gohan!" Bulma greets. "How goes the fight?"
"Not good. That heart virus got to dad, but Yamcha is taking him home." Gohan answers.
"And the others?" Bulma asks.
"They went on ahead to chase down the one that got away. Piccolo believes that there are more than two androids." Gohan replies.
"More than two! Well, we are certainly in trouble. Lily, you finally made it to Earth. He would never admit it, but your father had to be worried about you."
"I know. I've found out something about our time traveler." Lily begins.
"What? Is he back?" Bulma asks.
"Yes and he's the same boy that you're holding in your arms right now." Lily answers.
"Wow," Bulma says in awe, "well at least I know how you'll turn out Trunks." she says looking down at her son.
"I'm heading back home to check up on my father." Gohan states.
"I know it's asking a lot, but could you give us a lift home?" Bulma asks.
"Well...,ok." Gohan agrees reluctantly.

Battle field...,near a deserted road...,

***

'This action is not performing my main objective.' android 16 thinks as he watches 18 fighting Vegeta.
"You're looking board there, 16." 17 says.
"I was only designed to kill Goku." 16 replies.
"Don't worry, we'll go find Goku. Just let 18 have some fun first." 17 says smirking as it was becoming apparent that 18 would win this fight. Once 18 had dealt Vegeta a knock out blow the two male androids come over to their female counterpart.
"That takes care of the loud mouth." 18 says dusting herself off.
"C'mon. Let's go find us a car. Hey 16, you know where Goku lives?" 17 asks.
"Yes." 16 answers.
"Why do we need to steel a car? 18 asks bothered by her brother's need to do things the hard way. "We can just fly you know."
"Yeah, but there's no fun in just flying to Goku's place and killing him. Besides, I've never driven a car before and I think it'll be fun." 17 replies.
"C'mon 16, we better make sure 17 doesn't get distracted." 18 says and the three start walking down the road.
"Hey! Stop!" Krillin nervously cries. 18 stops, turns, and blows a kiss in Krillin's direction and waves as the trio of androids leave.
"I hate when I'm forced to take those things." Vegeta grunts after Trunks gave the prince a senzu bean.
"Krillin, you and Trunks get to Goku's house and get him out of there. I'm heading to have a conversation with someone." Piccolo says and takes off.
"Where's he going?" Trunks asks.
"I think he's going to talk Kami into fusing with him." Krillin answers. "If they fuse again, Piccolo will become much stronger."
"I don't care how strong that Namek will try to get. I'll be the one to beat those androids myself!" Vegeta yells and takes off himself.
"C'mon, if those androids are going to take their sweet time in getting to Goku's we should be able to beat them there." Krillin says and the two take off.

The Lookout...,

"Ah, Piccolo, I knew you'd be coming here. You know that this is a big and risky decision."
"I know old man." Piccolo growls out.
"There's another problem." Kami states calmly.
"What?" he asks annoyed.
"Open your mind and sense the dark force down there. It was masking itself until just recently."
'What is he...,wow! Whatever that thing is it's not like anything we've faced so far.' Piccolo thinks now understanding his other half's concerns.

Brief's residence...,

"We're home!" Bulma says after Gohan and Lily land outside of the Briefs' place.
"There you are Bulma." Bulma's mother greets. "Gohan, I haven't seen you in a long time. Would you care for some refreshments?"
"Thank you, but no. I've got to get to my dad." and with that the two take to the skies again.

The Lookout...,

"Well old man?" Piccolo asks.
"I see no other choice." Kami states.
"Kami!" Mr. Popo says.
"I'll miss you two Mr. Popo." Kami says resigned to his fate.
"We'll use my body if you don't mind." Piccolo states.
"Not at all. Your body is younger and will be able to take the pounding better than mine." Kami replies.

In Flight...,

"Gohan, Lily!" Krillin calls as he and Trunks catch up to the two kids. "You're just getting home?"
"Bulma wanted us to take her and Trunks home." Gohan replies.
"C'mon, we've got to get your dad out of here. The three androids that came out of Dr. Gero's lab are heading this way. We destroyed the lab after those androids got away in case there were anymore there." Krillin explains.
"What? No way!" Gohan says and the group of fighters continue their flight."

Son residence...,

"He's asleep again." Yamcha says coming down the stairs.
"Will he make it?" Chi-Chi asks.
"That medicine is some powerful stuff. He'll make it." Yamcha states confidently.
"Yamcha!" Krillin calls from outside. Yamcha opens the door and Krillin, Trunks, Gohan, and Lily file in quickly.
"What's up Krillin?" Yamcha asks.
"Trouble. Three more androids were activated and are now heading this way." Krillin quickly explains.
"Two of those androids are the monsters that I faced in my time." Trunks adds.
"Yeah. I figure that if we move Goku to master Roshi's it'll buy us some time until Goku can get back on his feet." Krillin finishes.
"I'll pack and get our airplane capsule." Chi-Chi says and frantically heads up stairs.
"How's he doing?" Krillin asks.
"He's been having trouble sleeping. I don't know if he's having nightmares or if the pain is getting to him. We finally got him to sleep just a few minutes ago. I hope us moving him doesn't wake him." Yamcha answers.
"With him, a hurricane could blow through his room and he'd stay asleep if he's deeply asleep." Krillin responds and the two old friends laugh.
"Hey Lily, when did you finally show up?" Yamcha asks.
"Right after android 20 ran away from my father." Lily answers.
"Did Vegeta destroy those first androids?" Yamcha asks.
"He got 19, but 20 was destroyed by 17 and 18. They've got a third following them called 16." Krillin explains.
"Man, are we in trouble or what?" Yamcha states.
"Piccolo has gone to fuse with Kami." Krillin adds.
"I hope he knows what he's doing. That'll take the dragon balls out of action." Yamcha states.
"All right, I'm packed. Go get Goku and bring him outside." Chi-Chi-Chi says and Krillin and Yamcha go upstairs.

Outside a small town...,

'Mmmmm, what a meal. That town certainly filled me up. I think I'm strong enough to find androids 17 and 18 now.' a shadowy figure ponders.
"Hey you!" Piccolo calls out. The figure turns to see the Namek whose cells were incorporated into his being.
"Piccolo. How did you manage to find me?"
"Who are you and what do you want?"
"My name is Cell. I'm an android created by Dr. Gero.
"Another android huh?"
"Yes. Now I think I'll have some fun with you." Cell says and attacks.

"There it is." Trunk says as he, Krillin, Lily, and Gohan look down upon another time machine. The four land and proceed to look around.
"Hey, look at this." Gohan says looking at what appeared to the shell of a strange creature.
"What in the heck is that?" Krillin says.
"Looks like the empty shell of a giant bug." Trunks says.
"You think it was living in the time machine?" Gohan asks.
Trunks looked thoughtful and then had a dreadful thought. 'What if it came from the future like me?'
"Whoa, feels like Piccolo is fighting someone." Krillin states.
"Yeah, and it feels like Freeza." Gohan retorts.
"No, it feels like Vegeta now." Krillin says.
'No! Now I know why this time is so different. Someone or something else time traveled as well.' "I'll get this time machine into its capsule. We better go help Piccolo."
"Right. Go on to master Roshi's place Gohan. Tell Goku what has happened and about this new threat." Krillin says to Gohan.
"I'll go with him." lily says and the two fly off.

Battlefield....,

Cell smirks looking at the one armed Piccolo. Cell decides to finish this and go find those androids.
"I could absorb you, but I've already got enough of you in my being." Cell begins.
"Wait. Tell me, why have you come here?"
"Since you're going to die anyway I'll tell you. I come from the future."
"The future!?"
"That's right. I used a time machine I took from Trunks to come back to this time in order to absorb androids 17 and 18."
"Absorb them. Why?"
"When I absorb both androids I will be complete and the most powerful being in the universe."
"Why not absorb the androids in your time?"
"By that time Trunks had destroyed the androids. I killed Trunks and reverted into my larval state in order to use the time machine. My body re-matured after I had absorbed enough life force from the Earth. I then started to absorb humans until I became what you see today. Now, I think I shall destroy you now."
"I don't think so." Piccolo says and his severed arm regenerates.
"What!?"
"Thanks for giving me the time to regenerate my arm."
"Oh clever, but I'll not waste my time on you." Cell says and then starts to energize an attack. "Solar flare!" With that, Piccolo was blinded and cell flies off to get the androids.
"Piccolo!" Krillin shouts as he and trunks get to where he was still rubbing his eyes.
"Damn him!" Piccolo swears.
"That was the Solar Flare wasn't it?" Krillin asks.
"Yeah. We've got another problem. His name is Cell. He's another android created by Dr. Gero. He was created with the Cells from all of the strongest fighters including a few cells from Freeza."
"Another Android!" Trunks shouts. "I'm going to find my father and hopeful talk some sense into him." Trunks says and flies off.
"Good luck." Krillin says.
"C'mon, we've got to find Cell before he finds the androids and absorbs them." Piccolo says and Krillin along with Tien fly off in per suit.

Roshi's island...,

"Why is your mom so obsessed on you becoming a scholar?" Lily asks as the two trained outside. Gohan had been studying up until the moment after his mother went back inside.
"As long as I've lived she's wanted me to be a scholar." Gohan says switching from the Turtle stance to the Namekian stance.
"We're going to have to become super Saiyans somehow if we're going to be of any use in these upcoming battles." she says continuing to counter Gohan in her Saiyan stance.
"Uh oh, mom's coming." and the two kids break apart and Gohan goes back to studying.

Son House...,

"Who wears these things?" 18 says rummaging through a chest of drawers.
"It appears that Goku is not here." 16 states.
"Hm, I guess we'll just have to cause some mischief to get his attention." 17 states.
"My sensors detect that he is now in a location several hundred miles on a remote island." 16 states.
"Awe," 17 complains, "I can't drive that car over water."

In flight...,

'Damn Cell. I lost him. I better find one of those androids before Cell does or we're in real trouble.' Piccolo thinks.

Shoreline...,

***

"Well 17," 18 begins, "Shall we fly now, or do you want to swim?"
"I think we can fly now." 17 replies.
"Hold it!" a voice shouts and Piccolo lands.
"Aren't you one of Goku's friends?" 18 asks.
"Tell us where he is, or we'll kill you." 17 threatens while smiling.
"I don't think so. You see that island out that way?" Piccolo asks and 17 nods. "We'll fight there."
"Fine by me." 17 says and the four fly off.

Roshi's island...,

'Man, my power level is so low.' Goku thinks sitting up. He stands and instant transmits outside. 'Vegeta's right. We've got to ascend if we're going to win against these androids.' Goku thinks and preforms several test punches and then energizes up a kai blast and throws it.
"Goku!" Chi-Chi cries running towards her husband.
"Hey!" he cries and catches her in an embrace.
"Why aren't you in bed?" she complains.
"I'm fine, see?" and he launches her into the air only to catch her in her arms.
"Oh my," she says almost blushing. Goku puts her down and is almost tackled by Gohan.
"Hey Gohan." Goku greets.
"Are you ok dad?" he asks.
"Yeah, I'm going to be just fine." Goku replies.
"What in the world is going on...,Goku!" Roshi cries seeing Goku out of bed.
"I'm fine master Roshi. It's time to start my training again. I've got to ascend past a super Saiyan."
"Ascend past a super Saiyan!" Roshi exclaims.
"He's right. These machines are at least ten times more powerful than Freeza. Ascension is not just necessary, it's vital." Lily says.
"I'm taking Gohan with me to the Hyperbolic time chamber. It's the only place that'll give enough time to train." Goku states.
"If you're even thinking of leaving me behind Kakarotto, then you've got another thing coming." Lily states.
"Goku!" Chi-Chi begins.
"Uh, what is it dear?" Goku asks nervously.
"I'll let Gohan go on one condition."
"What?"
"That he gets as strong as he possibly can." she answers.
"All right. C'mon you two." Goku says and the three vanish.

Vegeta...,

"Look at him. He's standing out in the middle of this raging storm. It's as if he created it in the first place." Trunks says to himself.
'I must ascend! I must ascend past a super Saiyan.' "You better stay out of my way Kakarotto." Vegeta says to the now appearing Goku.
"What if I told you that there's a place you could get a year's worth of training in one day." Goku says.
"Hmph, now you've got my attention." Vegeta states.
"C'mon, I'll take you there. You coming Trunks!?" Goku asks.
"Yeah." Trunks says and the small group vanishes.

Island...,

'Aaahhh, so there they are. Androids 17 and 18.' Cell almost salivates at the thought of having both androids become part of his being.
"You're giving me a good fight. You are stronger than Gero had predicted. But you look as if you can't go on much longer." 17 taunts.
'No, Cell's here.' Piccolo thinks feeling Cell's kai coming toward 17. "Look out 17!" Piccolo cries. 17 turns to meet the on coming Cell.
"Hello 17, 18." Cell greets. 16's sensors start to scan the creature.
"17!" 16 calls out, "Don't let his appearance fool you. He's much stronger than he looks."
"What are you supposed to be...,some kind of bug?" 17 asks.
"His name is Cell. Gero created him to absorb both you and 18." Piccolo explains.
"Absorb us huh? Well, we'll see about that." 17 says and begins to attack.

Lookout...,

"How are you going to do this? Only two people at a time can go into the chamber." Mr. Popo explains.
"I was thinking that Vegeta and Trunks should go first." Goku states.
"Haha, I appreciate you letting me go first Kakarotto, but you'll just make your training unnecessary." Vegeta gloats.
"Mr. Popo, when you say 'two people', do you mean two full grown people?" Lily asks.
"Hm, I see what your asking. You could go in as a third with Goku and Gohan since Gohan is only a boy. The two of you should be able to share the one bed, but correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't you been given the title of 'Dragon Kai'?" Mr Popo asks.
"Yes." she answers wondering what the little man was getting at.
"The rules of the chamber cannot effect a being with the title of 'Kai'." Mr Popo explains. You could go in with either group."
"Hm, I won't benefit from going into the chamber with my father. I know his moves and won't learn anything from it. Besides, he's so focused on defeating Goku that he'll want me to train alone and I've never done well by myself."
"Hah, I know what you and Kakarotto are doing, but I'll overlook it. Now where's this room?" Vegeta questions.
"Follow me." Mr. Popo says and the three leave.
"Hey, why did you call me...," Goku starts.
"I'll only call you Kakarotto if I'm frustrated with you. I know you wanted my dad and Trunks to spend some time together, plus I'll be able to learn from you and spend time with Gohan." she says roughing up Gohan's hair. His tail comes out from its hiding place and begins to wag a little as Gohan laughs.
"I'm glad there's no moon." Goku says.
"Hm, I've learned a technique that'll hide a Saiyan's tail. I'll show it to you when we go in."

Battlefield...,

"I didn't want it to come to this 17. I didn't want you to suffer. It's only a simple merger...,nothing more." Cell says coming closer to 17.
"You're a monster!" 17 gasps out.
"Awe, you hurt my feelings, but that's ok, soon you'll be apart of perfection." Cell says smiling at the android.
"Masenko...ha!" Piccolo cries and the Android takes the attack.
"Thanks. Odds are Gero created him as a last resort in case me and 18 got out of his control." 17 states.
'That was about all the power I had left.' Piccolo thinks.
"You must leave now 18. Cell is just too strong." 16 states.
"What about you?" she asks and 16 begins to analyze the other android carefully.
Cell quickly recovers and moves quickly to grab Piccolo. "This conflict has been most stimulating, thank you. I could absorb you, but I've already got enough Namekian cells in me. The rest is just...,refuse. Good-bye." Cell says changing his voice to a more hideous tone and gave Piccolo a final blow.
"You beast!" 17 shouts and charges at Cell who grabs him next and prepares to absorb the android. Then, Cell feels a harsh blow to the side of the head and he goes flying. 17 looks up to see who had rescued him.
"16...,it's you! But how did you get him off of me?" 17 asks.
"I used one of my hard punches." 16 responds.
"Yeah, he isn't going to be happy when he gets back up." 17 says getting to his feet again. "What should we do?"
"You and 18 need to leave."
"What will you do?"
"I will kill him."
"Kill him!? How!?"
"I've scanned Cell's power and it's equal to mine." 16 answers.
"I find this distraction to be most stimulating...,oh yes!" Cell snarls and lunges at 16 and the two begin to fight.

When the trio felt Piccolo's kai signal drop Goku and Lily had a time in keeping Gohan from going down there and fighting Cell himself. The three now breathe a sigh of relief feeling that someone else had stepped in.
'Whoever you are...,just hold on a little longer.' Goku silently pleas.
'C'mon father, you can't focus on beating your rival this time.' Lily thinks.

'Look at the big guy go. He's giving Cell all he can handle.' Tien thinks looking down at the battle. 16 now had Cell by the tail and was spinning him in a circle. 16 yanks out the tail and Cell goes flying several feet.
"That should put an end to your absorbtion capability. You're now like a bee without its stinger." 16 says.
"Mmmmm, your analogy of the bee...,isn't correct. You see, when a bee loses its stinger it dies. However when Cell loses his tail...,well, he just grows it back." Cell explains and with a shout his tail regenerates.
"Then I'll just have to rip your head off!" 16 says and continues to attack Cell. Cell pierces 16's neck and smirks.
"That's right, go to sleep." Cell taunts. Then he notices that 16 wasn't shutting down. "What! I pierced your neck."
"That flaw doesn't exist in my model." 16 retorts.
"So, Dr. Gero made some improvements." Cell says and the two continue to fight. Eventually, 16 throws Cell to the ground and with a cry of 'Hell's Flash', 16 lets loose his most powerful attack.
"Wow. You're good. That showed that bug. He won't be bothering us again."

17 gloats.
"Cell is still not destroyed. Get out of here now 17!" 16 shouts.
"hey, we don't need to worry. With you on our side 16, we'll make the Earth our play...,ahhhh!" 17 cries as Cell's tail pierces his neck and begins to absorb the android.
"Yes!" Cell cries and the transformation begins. There standing now was a more powerful version of the android that had attacked them. 16 attacks Cell again, but he is quickly overpowered.
"Tri beam attack!" Tien shouts and the energy blast hits Cell.
"We must retreat before Cell recovers." 16 says half dragging his body to 18. "I'm badly damaged. I don't know if I can fly."
"c'mon 16!" she says and grabs ahold of 16 and begins to lift off the ground.
'Hurry up! I don't know how long I'll be able to hold him off!' Tien thinks continuing the assault.

"Oh no, Tien!" Goku says. "He knows he can't keep that up." 'C'mon Vegeta, we're running out of time.'

Cell looks down at the fool that had gotten in his way. He smirks and starts to approach Tien when a sound catches his attention.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the great Goku. I've been wanting to test myself against the great Goku." Cell says as Goku picks Tien up.
"Give me just one more day Cell, and then I'll break you down." Goku replies.
"What? I've waited for you and when you finally show up, you say 'see you tomorrow'!" Cell says disbelievingly.
'Is that...' Goku thinks feeling a familiar kai signature. "Piccolo! Hold on!" he says and instant transmits.
"What!? Where'd he go!?" he shouts and smiles. "Ah, he didn't get that far." Cell says and heads over to where Goku had now dug Piccolo and now had both him and Tien on his back.
"Hold on you two. We'll get you back on your feet soon enough." Goku says.
"No you don't. We're going to fight here and now!" Cell says and charges only to see Goku disappear again. "How does he do that? That's a neat little trick. I'll just find android 18 and absorb her. I'll get him the next time I see him." Cell says and takes to the skies.

"We all thought you were a goner, Tien." Gohan says after both Piccolo and Tien had been given Senzu beans.
"That wasn't the brightest thing I've ever done." Tien says.
"It was a very noble act." Piccolo comments.
"Goku, I've been hearing noises from the chamber. I believe that Vegeta and Trunks are ready to come out." Mr. Popo says.
"All right, it's about time." Goku says. "Hey Mr. Popo?"
"Yes."
"Can you fix up some food before we go in?"
"Of course."

Goku smiles at the reactions from the two younger Saiyans. The sheer and total awe of the empty expanse before them was incredible and frightening all at the same time.
"There's nothing out there." Gohan says and notices how his voice echoes throughout the emptiness.
"Get use to it Gohan. We're going to be here for one whole year." Goku states.
"I know that the time difference is an advantage to train here, but what else?" Lily asks.
"Well, the further out you go the stronger the gravity gets. I wasn't able to survive six months in this place. You've got to be careful when you go out there. If you get lost you may never be able to get back." Goku explains. "Now Gohan, you'll find out quickly that I'm a stricter teacher than Piccolo. We've got to go beyond a super Saiyan and that's going to take a lot of training."
"Right." Gohan says ready for the challenge.
"As for you Lily, this ought to be a piece of cake since you were trained by Vegeta. I mean c'mon, he's got to be the strictest teacher in the galaxy." Goku jokes and Lily rolls her eyes.
"Enough wise cracks, lets get started." she says and walks out onto the vast expanse of emptiness.

Two months had past. Gohan was getting close to becoming a super Saiyan. Goku on the other hand had reached the first grade of super Saiyan. Lily was just as close as Gohan and had picked up the Namekian and Turtle stances quickly. Currently, the three were sparring again.
'That stupid instant transmission is starting to get on my nerves!' Lily fumes. 'Although, if he keeps doing it I'll pick it up soon enough.' As the fighting continues, she eventually starts to predict where the instant transmission will deposit Goku. Unfortunately, she didn't realize that he was leading her on for when she had finally caught up to him she only kicked through an after image and she received a knee to the back.

"Mind if I join you 'boys'?" Lily asks the two males that were currently bathing.
"Oh, we can take bathing with a girl if you can take bathing with us 'boys'." Goku teases.
"Oh shut up you super Saiyan lummox. How this blue ball keeps surviving under your protection is one of the great mysteries of the universe." Lily shoots back.
"Well, I guess we know where she gets her sense of humor Gohan." Goku says.
"Hey Lily, how did you hide your tail?" Gohan asks.
"Oh that's easy." she says and the two see a light come out of her back to form her tail. "You just convert your tail into kai and either let it out or draw it into yourself." she explains.
"Wow, neat!" Gohan says.
"Wish I knew that. We wouldn't have had to destroy the moon so many times." Goku says.
"Can we beat Cell?" Gohan asks.
"That's why we're in here Gohan." Goku states.
"Yeah, as long as my father didn't let his pride get in the way and let Cell absorb android 18." Lily says. "Cell has got some of my father's cells in him. He knows that my father can be tempted with a better fight."
"Don't worry. If Vegeta does do that I'm sure we'll be able to beat him." Goku says giving Lily a wink.
'He knows something. Or he's got a plan.'
"Splash fight!" Goku cries and the three proceed to violent disturb the water.

Nine months. They had been in this empty hell for nine months. The three now could live as super Saiyans. Lily had noticed that Goku had somehow gained some sort of inner confidence. She herself had then soon realized the same thing. Gohan would be the key to defeating Cell.
"Galic gun!" Lily cries and shoots the blast of kai at Goku.
"You've got to come up with better moves than that." Goku says after deflecting her attack.
"You mean like this...,kamehameha!"
"Whoa!" Goku shouts and instant transmits away.
"Masenko...,ha!" Gohan shouts.
"Uh oh!" Goku shouts and diverts the attack. "Man, you two don't give a guy a break do you?"

The gathered warriors wait for Goku, Gohan, and Lily to come out. Vegeta was pacing back in forth. He was anxious to see how much Kakarotto had improved and to see if that fool was able to handle his daughter. Then they all felt it. They all turn to watch the door open to reveal the three.
"Whoa, that must be Cell. He's gotten stronger since we left." Goku states. He then notices the group staring at him. "Uh, hi guys. What's up?"
'All three of them are in their super Saiyan state. It's as if it's natural to them.' Piccolo thinks.
"Cell has reached his perfect form." Tien begins.
"Father." Lily growls.
"Hmph, it just makes the fight more interesting." Vegeta quips.
"Cell has set up a tournament that'll take place in ten days. I'm going in to the time chamber followed by Trunks and Vegeta." Piccolo explains.
"A tournament, huh?" Goku says.
"Yeah. You know you could still go in if you want. You've still got one more day you can spend in there." Piccolo says.
"It isn't worth overstressing your body in that thing." Goku states. "Besides, I think we'll train out here. But first," he says and instant transmits to Cell's ring.

"Hmmm," Cell says feeling the power level materialize to show that it had been Goku.
"Well, looks like you've improved yourself in a day, Cell." Goku says.
"Isn't this sight just perfect? Here is where the fate of the world will be decided. I hope you don't disappoint me." Cell taunts.
"Oh don't worry, I won't." Goku says and vanishes.
'How does he keep doing that? How can he just appear and disappear at will?' Cell ponders going back to his vigil in the center of his ring.

"I can't believe you're going to train out here." Piccolo says.
"Cell looks pretty tough, but I'm not worried." he says and turns to Lily.
"I'll stay up here." Lily says.
"Hey, Gohan's birthday is in a couple of days...," Goku quietly begins.
"I'll be there." she says.
"C'mon Gohan, let's go home." Goku says and the two vanish.
"All right Namek, get in this stupid chamber right now!" Vegeta rants.

"You guys ready?" Goku asks. "Hey, where's Vegeta."
"He went on ahead." Piccolo answers.
"I guess he's eager to fight. Let's go." Goku says and with a shout of 'good luck' from Dende, the group takes to the skies.

"Uh Hercule, Cell doesn't appear to be intimidated at all." Jimmy Firecracker says to Hercule.
"He just doesn't want to looked scared in front of the champ, that's all." Hercule states.
'Ah Vegeta, I thought you would've learned by now.' Cell muses as Vegeta's kai comes closer.
"What...,what is that?" Jimmy asks and Vegeta lands giving Cell a royal death glare. "Hey Hercule, he just flew in! How did he do that?" Hercule just stutters as he tries to comprehend what had just happened.
"Must be some kind of trick." Hercule finally manages to get out.
"Well, let's see if we can get a word with this strange arrival." Jimmy says and makes his way to Vegeta. "Excuse me, but...,"
"Go away. Your foolishness bothers me." Vegeta growls and Jimmy hides behind Hercule.
"What's up with that guy!?" Jimmy asks.
"Must be one of my fanatical fans." Hercule answers. Then to everyone's surprise another figure lands.
"Android 16." Cell says surprised, "You're back on your feet...,and with brand new parts too." Cell says.
'Bulma and her father made that android just as powerful as before. Don't they know that I'm going to be the one to beat Cell in the end.' Vegeta thinks.
"Ah Goku, there you are." Cell says and the entirety of the Z fighters land.
"And even more strange people have arrived. I hope they're just here to watch Hercule beat Cell." Jimmy announces.

'Foolish humans, I guess I should have told the world that their world's champion couldn't possibly defeat me. Oh well, now that the riffraff have been disposed of my games can truly begin. I just hope that cameraman can keep up. Hm, why did he bring his son? And for that matter why did Lily come as well? I guess I'll have to wipe out two families in one felt swoop.' Cell muses. "Who's first to begin? Will it be you, Goku?"
Goku steps into the ring and says, "Let's do it."

The battle's fierceness was so great that it wasn't able to stay in the ring. Cell solved this problem by destroying said ring. That way the entire desert could be there battlefield.
'Now what does he think he's doing?" Cell says looking up to see Goku.
"Ka...,meh!" Goku begins.
"He wouldn't. He'd destroy the planet from up there." Cell jokes.
"Ha...,meh!"
"Hit the dirt!" Piccolo shouts.
"Goku is crazy but he isn't that crazy, I hope." Krillin says.
"No!" Cell shouts. Just before the attack was to be released, Goku vanishes only to reappear behind Cell. The bio-android turns and the attack blasts Cell into the atmosphere. The rest of the attack heads out into space.
"Phew, I told you he wasn't that crazy." Krillin states getting back to his feet.
"That's debatable." Lily says.
"He got me." Cell says to himself seeing the damage that attack caused. Then with a loud cry his body regenerates.
'I don't know how much longer I can keep going.' Goku ponders.
"You're fighting pretty good, but you look as if you can't continue. Why don't you take one of those Senzu beans...,that way the match can continue to be a great one." Cell says. "The world wants to see its hero you know."
"Yeah, your right." Goku says and let's his kai level drop. "The world does need to see its hero."
"What are you doing?" Cell questions.
"I give up. You win Cell." Goku says. Shock and disbelief cross all of the Z fighters.
"You just can't say 'I give up' and expect to just walk away." Cell says shocked that this was happening.
"Yes I can. Besides, if you let me choose your next opponent I guarantee he'll beat you." Goku states.
"Oh really?" Cell taunts. Before he makes a cutting remark about Goku's friends, the cells from Vegeta were telling him that Goku had a plan. He looks down at the group. 'Gohan is here. Gohan isn't usually allowed to fight when he's on Earth. Goku's wife usually sees to that. And yet, there he stands as a super Saiyan. No, I cannot believe that he's here for moral support. Goku knows how dangerous I am. He wouldn't allow his son to become a distraction. That fool wouldn't believe that I would stick to the rules in the end. Gohan has to be the one. Goku wouldn't have the gall to send Vegeta's little girl after me.' Cell thinks. He turns to Goku and smirks. "I know exactly who you are going to send to fight me."
"Oh really." Goku replies.
"I've been wondering why you would allow your son to come to my little tournament when you have shown that you can't stand up to your wife." Cell taunts. "So I have to ask myself...,'Why would Goku bring his only son?', the answer is simple. You think that Gohan has the capacity to beat me don't you?" Cell asks.
'What!? how did he figure it out?' Goku thinks, He was keeping his face calm and passive. He didn't want to show Cell that he had gotten to him.
"Did I figure out your little plan Goku?" Cell taunts.
"You're right Cell, it is Gohan." Goku replies.

"Will you bunch of idiots calm down." Lily growls. Piccolo and Krillin had been having a heated discussion about Goku's choice in sending Gohan.
"Gohan," Goku starts, "at any time during the fight, did you have any trouble keeping up with our movements?"
"No, but I know if you were trying your best...," Gohan starts.
"I don't know about Cell, but I was giving my all up there. You were comparing my power to yours during the fight, weren't you?" Goku asks.
"Is this true Gohan?" Piccolo asks shocked at Goku's revelation.
"Yes." Gohan quietly answers.
"Look son, you can do this. Win and we can all go home." Goku states.
"All right dad." Gohan says.
"Hey Krillin." Goku calls.
"Yeah,"
"Hand me a Senzu bean."
"Sure." he says and tosses it to Goku.
"Hey Cell! Catch!" Goku says and tosses it to the android to the disbelief of the others.
"So, you want me to fight at my fullest against your son. Well, I shall not disappoint." he says and gladly eats the bean.
'Idiot.' Lily thinks. 'I understand why Gohan is the one, but letting Cell have his power restored to him is just plain insanity.'

'He's being stubborn about this.' Cell thinks. 'I've tried to hurt him through physical pain, but that didn't work. 16 tried to stop me, but I decapitated him. I guess I'll have to try something else...,' he thinks and then the cells from Freeza gave him an idea.
"Oh Gohan, let's see if I can't give your engine a jump start." Cell says and turns to the Z fighters. "Let's see now...,one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, that shouldn't be a problem." he says and with a cry eight miniature versions of Cell come out.
"Cell has just spawned...,one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight,...,eight little Cells except they're blue and I don't know what's going on!" Jimmy rants.
"You see those people on the cliff there?" Cell says to his eight children. "Those are your new playmates. Give them pain. Kill them if you like." Gohan's eyes widen in horror and the eight smaller Cells attack.
"Look out Guys! Each one of them is very strong!" Goku warns.
"Come on!" Vegeta taunts and the two groups begin to fight.
"The group of strange fighters are being attack by eight mini versions of Cell. This tournament has broken down into a bedlam. No rules. And no hope for the Earth!" Jimmy shouts.
"I think we better get out of here now!" Hercule cries.
"Wait." a voice says. Hercule turns to see android 16's head.
"Aaaahhhh!" all of the people standing with Hercule, including the champ himself, cry out.
"Please, take me to where they are fighting." 16 pleads.
"I don't think...," Hercule begins.
"Please, it may save us all." 16 says. "You are the Earth's hero aren't you? Surely you can do this simple task." And with that, Hercule takes the head and starts to head for the battle field.

"Yes, I can feel you swelling. Just a little more...," Cell says but he is cut off by the sound of Hercule throwing 16's head.
"Oh no! I threw him near Cell!" Hercule cries.
"This is fine." 16 says.
"16?" Gohan asks.
"Listen Gohan, it is not a sin to fight for the right reason. I know how you feel because I too have a gentle nature, but there are those who words won't reach. Don't let Cell destroy the life I love."
"Ughhh," Cell says disgusted, "I appreciate the help 16, but I think I'll do this my way." he says coming closer to the android's head.
"Just let it go Gohan." 16 says and Cell brings his foot down to crush the head.
"And yet another fighter...,you could have saved." Cell mocks. "Hey!" he says after turning to his children, "first one with a kill gets a prize! The one who kills Lily gets two!"" Cell shouts.
'No, 16. You loved life. I can't let this go on any longer. I feel it slipping...,' Gohan thinks and with a cry his kai begins to rise rapidly.
"Ah, that's right." Cell says watching Gohan's transformation. He could see that blue electricity now could be seen with Gohan's aura. "You're making the same mistake Trunks did kid." Cell taunts. "Ready to continue the game?" The response from Gohan was to use super speed to grab the bag of senzu beans and then seems to reappear where he had just stood.
"No games." Gohan growls.
"But how!? Grrr." Cell fumes. In a matter of five seconds, three of the attacking blue Cells were killed making the other five back away.
"Told you didn't I?" Goku rasps out.
"Kakarotto, if I ever find myself in another of your hair brained plans again my father won't have to worry about fighting you." Lily growls.
"We've been fighting these things and he just kills each one of them with just one blow." Vegeta says.
'Let's see how he does against all five of them.' Cell thinks and the five swarm Gohan not knowing the death their creator had just sent them to. The blue Cells tried to use their stolen techniques against Gohan, but the five find themselves blown away with his energy.
"He just blew them away with only his energy." Vegeta says stunned.
"Pass these around Trunks." Gohan orders handing Trunks the bag of beans.
"Uh, sure." Trunks says and proceeds to hand out the beans.
"Just look at what you've done!" Cell fumes.
"Can it." Gohan retorts.
"You don't have a chance. For you young warrior have yet to feel my full power." Cell taunts.
"What, no way!" Krillin shouts.
"You mean that he wasn't even trying up until now?" Vegeta asks disbelievingly. Cell's kai starts building up making all of them cringe at his power.
"What do you think now boy!? Ahahaha!" Cell gloats.
"Is that all?" Gohan asks not impressed.
"Grrr! You'll pay for that!"
"Kakarotto," Lily begins, "I've got my concerns about this plan."
"What?" Goku asks.
"Do you remember fighting Freeza the first time as a super Saiyan?" she asks.
"Yeah,"
"You were more aggressive than you've ever been without transforming into your beast form. You were able to keep from losing yourself in your power because you are a full grown Saiyan."
"Huh?" Goku questions.
"I think I know what she's getting at." Vegeta states. "Gohan is the first preadolescent super Saiyan. His mind might not be able to come out of whatever state a full grown Saiyan gets when they transform into a super Saiyan for the first time. I didn't have to go through such a thing though." he adds.
"It's probably something in the soldier class's genetics." Lily says.

'That's it! I've had it! How could a mere child have such power? Although, this one is different somehow. Well, if I must prove myself once again then so be it, but this will be the last time!' Cell thinks and quickly heads upward. "Ka...Meh!"
"No Cell, don't do it!" Goku cries.
"Ha...,Meh!" Cell continues as the energy builds up.
"Kah...,meh....,ha....,meh...," Gohan starts.
'Oh shit!' Lily thinks hitting the dirt.
"Ha!" Cell says and a large blue wave of energy starts to head down to the ground.
"Ha!" Gohan finishes and his own wave heads upward.
"What? No! what have you done!" Cell panics trying to push his attack, but he was slowly failing. Then both his and Gohan's attacks swallow the android. The rest goes out into space well beyond where the moon should have been. Everyone stood their trying to sense Cell. When they did they saw that Cell was missing several limbs.
"Gohan fired a bigger kamehameha wave than Cell." Vegeta says in shock.
"Hey father, could the galic gun be energized like that as well?" Lily asks.
"Don't you even think about it!" Vegeta fumes. 'Kids these days! How did Kakarotto's brat get so powerful?'
"Hey, Gohan needs to finish off Cell before he regenerates!" Piccolo shouts.
"Gohan! Finish him off now!" Goku shouts.
"You want me to finish him off now?" Gohan questions and then thinks for a moment. "No, I think I'll wait a little while so he can suffer."
"Gohan! We all know you've got the power! Finish him off now!" Goku shouts in a panic.
"I told him." Lily says shaking her head.

"I am whole." Cell growls after he regenerates again. He flies quickly towards Gohan and the two start a close quarters battle. He pulls away from Gohan angered. "why do my punches keep missing!" he shouts. He then prepares another attack. "Rapid fire!" he cries, but no of the energy blasts hit. "What!?" he shouts. He then feels two blows to his gut and his chest in sequence.
"Whoa, check it out. I think Gohan has won the whole thing." Krillin states.
"Yeah, and in a minute Cell will lose is complete power." Piccolo adds.
"What do you mean?" Trunks asks.
"Just watch." Piccolo replies.
"He...,he only landed two punches." Cell says in an enormous amount of pain. "Then Why am I so damaged!?" He then feels something stirring from within his body. He cries out and something comes out to land on the ground.
"Hey! It's android 18! She's still alive!" Krillin cries.
"No!" Cell says after reverting to his imperfect form. "You'll pay for this I swear!" he yells. He then starts to balloon his body.
"What's he doing to his body now?" Vegeta asks.
"All right you sniveling little brat! I'm going to blow myself up now." Cell states calmly. "In sixty seconds this entire planet will explode and there's nothing you can do about it!" Cell shouts thinking that this would be his final victory.
"No...,it can't end like this!" Vegeta shouts.
"No! Not like this! It can't end like this...,not after all we've done for the Earth!" Yamcha states.
"There's only one way now I can think of to stop Cell now." Goku calmly states.
"You've got a plan?" Krillin asks.
"I think I know what you're about to do." Trunks says.
"Good-bye my friends." Goku says and instant transmits behind Cell.
"Goku!" Krillin cries.
"Twenty seconds!" Cell shouts, but then he feels something grab ahold of his tail.
"You did good son. I'll take it from here." Goku says resigned to his fate.
"What...,what are you...?" Gohan tries to get out.
"Take care of your mother for me." Goku says and the two both vanish.
"Daddy!" Gohan shouts.

"Sorry King Kai, but this was the only place I could think to bring him." Goku apologizes.
"Well, you could've called first." King Kai says and with a cry of 'no' from Cell, King Kai's planet explodes.

"Well, that's it. The Cell games is over. There seems to be no trace of the golden hair fighter nor Cell." Jimmy announces even though no one could hear him.
"It's all right, let it out." Lily says holding the crying hybrid. 'Blast you Kakarotto, you could've instant transmitted back with King Kai off of his planet.' "Krillin! Get android 18 and let's get out of here."
"What!?" Trunks shouts.
"Hey, I doubt she'll want to challenge us, not after Gohan here punched her out of Cell." Lily says. It was another ability of the mating class to be able to comfort males when they were experiencing pain, whether it was physical or emotional. Then, they all felt it.
"No, it can't be!" Piccolo cries. A blast of kai shoots out and strikes Trunks.
"Hahaha, it's good to be back." Cell, back in his perfect form states.
"What do you want from us Cell!?" Vegeta shouts.
"Nothing, I've got everything I need. I guess you want to know how I survived the blast. Well, the explosion wasn't big enough to destroy me completely. One of my cells happened to survive the explosion. It slowly started multiplying until I was whole again. I found out that I had been revived with my complete power in tact. Apparently my cells stored that power away just in case I was forced to destroy myself. I had also learned that I now could use Goku's instant transmission technique. With my new powers gained after my near death, I'll be able to destroy the in tire universe!" he declares.
"Gohan listen to me. You can do it. You've shown him that you can hurt him. Destroy him and end this." Lily encourages.
"I'm sor...," Gohan starts.
"No, I figured this would happen, but as usual no one bothered to listen."
"Cell! Leave everyone else out of this. Your fight is with me!" Gohan shouts.
"Awe man, I don't think Trunks is going to make it." Yamcha says looking over Trunks's body.
'Trunks, my son,' Vegeta thinks, 'you've never done anything to deserve the way I've treated you. Cell has mocked me and my bloodline for the last time!' "Cell!" he shouts raising his power level and starts firing off his final flash.
""Father!" Lily shouts.
"All right, he's lost it! He's decided to kill us al!" Krillin panics.
"Cell! Come out of there now! If you don't come out I'll blast you out!" Vegeta yells after he had finished blasting Cell. He then launches yet another large barrage of kai blasts downward. He then slowly falls down to the ground panting in exhaustion.
"Die." Cell says throwing a blast at Vegeta. Everything seems to slow down as the blast heads for Vegeta. The prince waits for the blow, but it never happened. A horrid scream is let out and time returns to normal flow.
'No, Lily.' Vegeta says falling onto the ground near her body. She had lost her super Saiyan state.
"Looks like your family shall die this dayVege...," but he feels a blow from his left side knocking him away from Lily and Vegeta.
"I told you that your fight is with me." Gohan growls. Cell now notices that Gohan's tail was out and it two was gold. Cell instant transmit and appears behind Gohan and grabs hold of his tail.
"Now I'll finish you off once and for all." Cell says confidently.
Gohan manages to turn and shout, "Solar flare!"
"Ahh!" Cell shouts shielding his eyes and forced to let Gohan go.
"I'm going to make you pay for hurting Trunks and Lily. and I'm going to make sure that you die for killing my father!" Gohan shouts as his kai rises again.

"Your son is one heck of a fighter Goku, but that doesn't change the fact that you destroyed my home!" King Kai rants.
"Sheesh, how many times do I have to say I'm sorry?" Goku complains.
"Yeah, how many times?" Gregory asks.

Earth, Cell Games...,

Cell smirks looking down at Gohan. "This is it boy! Either you kill me, or I destroy the Earth!"
"Give it your best shot!" Gohan retorts knowing what attack he'd have to use again.
"Now...,you...,die!" Cell shouts and fires down at Gohan. Gohan retaliates by firing another kamehameha wave. The two blasts met half way as the two fighters pored all their kai they could. Cell was starting to push his attack downward.
'No..,I won't let him win! I won't let anyone else die today!' Gohan thinks and starts pushing harder than before.
'That's right son, keep it up. Don't hold back.' Goku says through King Kai's telepathy.
"You have no chance...,no chance!" Cell shouts. The to his shock and horror the blast was starting to come towards him. "No!" Cell shouts. "I...,I can't stop it!" he says and the two attacks swallow him, but this time every single one of his cells rupture from the amount of power. The rest of the blast heads out into space. Gohan falls down to the ground now back in his normal state.
"Hehehe, who knew getting rid of cell would be such a blast. It's finally over." Krillin says.
"Man, it's been a while since we could say that." Yamcha adds.
"Come, lets get these guys to Dende's." Piccolo says picking up Gohan. "Can you fly?" Piccolo asks of Vegeta.
"I shall join you shortly. I don't need any help." Vegeta replies.
"your call."
"Take Lily with you. Make sure that little Namek heels her along with Trunks."
"Right." Piccolo says after taking Lily's limp body and flying after the others.
"Kakarotto." Vegeta growls. "I didn't get the chance to...," he continues furious at his rival's self sacrifice. "How could die like without me getting the chance to face you!" he shouts and decides to head on. One day he'd get the chance to face Kakarotto again.

Author's ramblings

Man, was that long or what? I know, no lemon, but I promise that the lemon will be in the next and last saga. Unlik the previously sagas where I've gone mostly by the series, I'll be changing the Majin Buu saga dramatically. I'l even start at a slightly different place than the show did. Read and review.
