Once again Heero found himself in front of Duo’s garage, this time though he was expected. He didn’t knock as he went right in.
“Fool, is it finished yet?”
“’S not an it! She’s a lady and you gotta treat her as one. But yeah, she’s finished.” An overall cheerful Duo neared, wiping his hands on a rag. He pressed his lips hard against Heero’s. “Wanna see her?”
“Yeah. That was sort of why I came by.”
“What?! Notta see me? I’m hurt, I’m-…”
“Shut up, fool. I’ve been by only to see you every day the last week.”
“An’ wasn’t that enjoyable.”
“Let’s just see her.”
Duo removed the cover with a flourish, revealing a sleek, white sports bike, slimmer than Duo’s own Beast, but probably just as fast. Heero doubted that even a screw remained from the original bike he had left with the braided mechanic.
“Wanna christen her?” Duo grinned.
