Chapter 2
Roy sat up in bed with a start holding his hands up over his head as if in self defense, he is now 26 years old and part of the Central Military. Roy had another nightmare of his past life when he was fifteen, after that awful night he had decided to try and better himself make himself stronger. At the same time he discovered alchemy and started to read up on it in hopes one day perhaps he could get all those scum bags back for what they did to him. He found the fire was most to his liking now at the age of 26 he was an expert in fire alchemy.
He put a hand to his forehead that hurt a bit as he seemed to never go a night without drinking his whisky. It was the only way to help him sleep or relax his mind, then there was a knocking at the door. At his front door, he sighed and looked at the time it seven thirty am. What could be going on at this time he thought to himself. His room had wooden planning on it and a hard wood floor with a few rugs laying about. He had a large wardrobe in the corner with all his stylish clothes. He had his Uniform laid out neatly on the chair under the window to the left of his he bed. Which had a soft green comforter over it.
Roy pushed the covers off his waist he put his bare feet into his slippers then walked to his grey robe on the end of his bed and picked it up and slid it on. He tied the sash and opened the door he shuffled down the hallway and went down the steps of his house the front door was to the left of the steps in the foyer. He peeked through the peephole, it was Maes Hughes what the hell did he want Roy wondered to himself. Maes was Roy’s best friend since his academy days. He opened the door, “What the bloody hell do you want at this hour in the morning?” Roy grumbled not feeling to amused by this. “Don’t tell me its some kind of freak thing you have to tell me about your wife or something I have a hangover.”
“No I came here to tell you that you better get dressed I knew you’d forget Hawkeye is coming remember you have a train to catch to Resembool, remember now I tried to phone but you never picked up.” Hughes said leaning on the door frame as he watched Roy high tail it back up the steps at the mention of Hawkeye on her way.
“Shit, shit, shit!” Roy muttered to himself as he swiftly tried to pull on all his clothes she was one scary woman. Roy thought to himself as he managed to shave off the stubble swiftly on his face without razor burn or cutting himself. He knew he didn’t have time for a quick shower but he swiftly brushed his teeth next after shaving then he ran out into his room and quickly pulled on some clean boxers tossing his robe aside. He pulled on his uniform pants then put on his white shirt and last his uniform coast. He felt safer now Maes was the only one who ever saw Roy without his uniform he didn’t want to start making a trend of it now even with his other friend he made. At least tell he became Colonel then Brig General someday he hoped to become Fuhrer.
He then slipped his boots on then snagged his suit case and tossed in some clean underwear his cologne. Then some clean white shirts his tooth brush and his shaving gear and slammed the lid shut and locked it. “So I see your ready Sir,” Roy swiftly turned around to see Riza Hawkeye standing in the door way she had scared the hell out of him but he didn’t let this show on his face.
“Yes, of course why wouldn’t I be ready I am always ready,” Roy said flashing her a bright smile even though he still felt like shit. He turned to his nightstand that was next to his bed he picked up his gloves and put them on last. Then he picked up his suitcase. “Well then shall we, we have a train to catch I believe.” Roy said and walked out of his room leaving the lamp burning.
Riza shook her head and walked in and turned it off for him, “Sure you are,” she said softly before exciting the room.
Roy was now sitting next to the window of the train he was riding to the far off country village of Resembool. He had heard about a great Alchemist by the name of Edward Elric, he wanted to see if he couldn’t per swayed the man to join them in their fight against the recent rule of the country. Perhaps get him on his side so Roy could turn the country into a democracy once again.
Roy had a pillow leaning against the window; it was a three day train ride, which was very dull he spent most of his time. Playing cards with Riza or just napping, the rocking of the train was soothing, though he didn’t like the dreams that fallowed after he went to sleep.
At the moment he drifted off again to another one of those hateful dreams, Roy was standing on the street corner when he was sixteen years old dressed in a grey shirt but it was half way unbuttoned and he had on black slacks and shinny shoes and a maroon colored vest with a matching scarf. A tall man approached him, “Hey are you the boy whore around here?” The man wondered at this point in the dream Roy couldn’t recognize the persons face all the faces in Roy’s dreams were blank or blurry.
“Why do you want to know?” Roy would reply he was holding a cigarette between his fingers. He brought the white stick to his mouth elegantly then blew the smoke out just as gracefully.
“Cause if you are I want to buy you for the evening,” The blank faced man said though he still had a mouth that moved.
“Hmn then in that case I am him,” Roy said and dropped the cigarette on the pavement and snubbed it out with his heal. “How may I services… you!?” Before Roy knew it the man had turned his body around roughly.
“You can just hold onto the pole that is all you need to do, then” The man yanked Roy’s pants down to his ankles exposing his nude fine white ass. “You can squeal like a stuffed pig in heat,” The man growled in Roy’s ear and shoved his thick cock into his ass.
“Roy,” Roy heard his name being called to him from some other place some other world. “Roy wake up we are here.”
“Here where?” Roy said still in a sleepy tone his head moved a bit toward the pillow then he frowned.
“We are at Resembool wake up already” Riza said shaking him by the shoulder.
Roy opened his eyes glad to be away from that damn dream of his he sat up and had a pillow crease on his face and some drool as well Riza didn’t know about his hated past he wanted to keep it that way. Hawkeye was holding a tissues out to him. Roy gave Hawkeye a look that said don’t say a word. Hawkeye was smirking he took the tissue and whipped the drool from his face then stood up. Roy grabbed his suitcase and Riza’s from the top bin the two exit the train the sky looked horrible though Roy thought looking up at the sky he was wearing a long black coat and a hat now. “Riza you go ahead and take these to our room and do some searching around there I’ll ask some questions here at the station ok?”
Riza nodded, “Alright Sir,” she said and went her own way taking the suitcases with her.
Roy then walked up to the ticket booth there was a young lady working inside, he leaned on the counter and removed his hat.
“Excuse me miss, “ he had natural charming heir to his voice he normally didn’t do the things he did on purpose, when it came to making most women feel like they are going to go jelly at the knees.
This poor women was the same as most, she giggled a bit couldn’t help herself she had not seen anyone so handsome as far as she could remember. “Yes Sir?” She wondered and automatically patted her hair.
“ Hi, my name is Lieutenant Colonel Mustang I am from the Central branch of the Military I was wondering if you know or have heard of the Alchemist Edward Elric?” Roy noted that he could have said that he was a giant chocolate covered banana wearing pink pajamas the lady wouldn’t care.
“Oh yes, I know of him he lives two miles south down the country lane he lives in a white two story house with a large tree next to it, you have to cross over some meadows to get there.” She sounded like she was so in love with Roy as if she was in a dream or something.
“Alright thank you Miss,” Roy nodded and winked at her pretty much knocking her off her feet he stood up straight and put his hat back on his head and headed south in the direction she had told him.
As he traveled across the two miles of meadow it began to rain as he came up to the last hill he saw the white house. If he wasn’t mistaken there seemed to be an eerie scream floating on the breeze from the house. “Hmm something foul is in the air,” Roy said to himself he could feel it the whole time he was coming some sort of dark energy perhaps. All he knew is it made him feel really uncomfortable.
He saw there was another house as well but it was a good trek to the house he thought. He walked down the wet hill to the two story white house. He pushed open the gate the rain was now falling down hard on Roy’s head splattering loudly on his hat. The rain was not a welcomed thing in the least he walked up to the door and pulled his coat collar over his neck the house seemed dark as if no one was home. Roy went to knock on the door but it swayed open some and Roy saw what looked to be a blood trail then he noted it was staining the porch under his feet. He pushed the door open now he was curious as to what happened.
The house seemed dark not just because the lights were out, the air in the house was full of malice and sorrow. Roy fallowed the trail of blood to another door that was flung back as if someone had left the room in a hurry. Roy’s heart leapt into his throat at the site he saw, a human transmutation circler he thought he put a hand to his mouth. Since he was alone it really didn’t matter if he had a mask on or not this was taboo to do in the practices of Alchemy. It was against the law and the law of Alchemy.
What kind of screwed up man was this Roy wondered to himself, he turned away from the dark room that seemed to be coated in blood. He went back out the door and fallowed the trail toward the house in the distance where a light was still on.
Roy came up the steps there was a large sign that read Auto Mail in the front yard. Roy knocked on the door, though he was feeling completely wet to the bone now. He didn’t care he had to find out who the hell would try such a thing. The door came open and a small older women stood in the door. Roy pushed past her and ignored her cries of protest. “Where is he?” He demanded to know.
He saw a blonde boy laying on a bed in door way across from the front door he walked into the room he didn’t have his right arm or his left leg, what the hell he was only a kid he thought. He marched over to him he was staring blankly Roy noted he had golden eyes and was very cute wait a minute cute he thought to himself. Why in the hell did he think this he shook his head of the weird thought that crossed his mind.
“What the hell did you do Kid!” Roy demanded to know and grabbed him by his shirt collar and hoisted him up out of the bed. He wasn’t really thinking about him being wounded at the moment he just didn’t like anyone trying to play God. To think a kid did this it was just madding Roy thought a kid playing around with such things.
“Please let my brother go,” A metal hand came down on Roy’s fist, “Please forgive him, please forgive us.” Roy looked up to see a Seven foot suite of armor talking to him.
Roy relaxed his grip on the boy and let him go against the bed more carefully he didn’t want to get hurt by a huge suite of armor for one. Plus it was odd the sound of the voice sounded like a little baby or a young child at least. “You, you’re a transmuted soul?” Roy was a bit impressed then he looked back at the boy though still feeling annoyed by this situation. “What the hell did you boys do!?” Roy demanded to know.
