Lion Alchemist
Chap 2 Alphonse Meets the Lion
Alphonse was getting the run around and he was not happy about it. He wanted to see his brother but no one was telling him anything. Roy avoided him at all costs saying he was busy. What happened to Ed was not a well known secret as far as most people knew Ed was on a mission. Alphonse didn't believe it one Ed was working with Tucker, two Tucker has gone missing as well, three Edward wouldn't just go on a new mission without him or without telling him, four Alphonse had heard the rumors of a man with a scar on his face killing alchemists.
The iron clad boy wanted to see his brother, he wanted his big brother now. He stomped around the office and finally cornered Maes. "Hughes-san please tell me where my brother is?" Alphonse asked as politely as he could in his state of mind. Maes began to sweat. "Umm he's on a special mission for Roy."
"No he's not brother would have told me." Alphonse said stomping his foot in rage. Hughes gulped. 'This is bad.' "Umm unless it was so dangerous he didn't want you to get involved." Hughes felt super bad for lying. "I guess…" Alphonse said sadly. "Why don't you go wait for Ed at home? I'm sure he will come back to you as soon as he can."
Alphonse nodded. "You're right Hughes-san thank you." Alphonse said and walked down the hall and turned the corner. Hughes sighed and went down the hall that led to Ed's cell. Unlucky for Maes Alphonse had no problem lying to someone who he knows is lying to him. He knew Ed wouldn't go on a dangerous mission alone, and that not telling him would make him worry more. The large armor followed Maes a good distance behind him, he changed the material of his shoes so he wouldn't make too much noise.
Roy was standing in front of Ed's cell again. "Roy has there been any change?" Hughes asked. "Not at all I want to help him so much and Alphonse is missing him." Roy said and banged on the glass in frustration. "We can't keep lying to him Roy and you avoiding him is just making him more suspicious."
"What would you have me do Maes? If Alphonse sees his brother like this he will…I worry what he would do." Roy said and looked at Ed's sleeping form. "What that bastard did to him put him through. I'd char him alive if I could." Roy said and tightened his hands into fists.
"Ok Roy enough you can't beat yourself up about this Scar killed Tucker, let's catch him before he can do anymore harm." Hughes led Roy away from Ed's cell the two males didn't notice Alphonse cause the boy his himself using alchemy.
Alphonse walked to the cell and what he saw broke his heart. "Brother!"
