Chapter 2
Heero sliced through a mobile suit with his Lazar saber, then spun it around to cut up another that was coming up behind him, then he flew up into the darkness of space, turned and used one of his Lazar beam cannons to destroy another, all three of the suits then became vapor as the beam expanded.
"Mission Complete," Heero said before he started to laugh he just took down 100 mobile suits in less than five minutes no one even had a chance to send an alert for back up. "This was cake," Heero told himself 100 was nothing for Wing. Heero then flew back down to earth turning wing into a jet, then he blocked radars as he sailed back down toward his hidden base in Colorado.
This was a three week mission he had to complete, he knew no matter how fast he went it would still take three weeks, he had to collect data and go to all four corners of the earth sphere even with Trowa's help it still took along time.
He was so relived when the last of the enemy had been defeated, so that means he can go home and relax and rest, he really needed it felt like it was more than just three weeks.
Duo sat up when the tone for Heero arriving sounded off, Quatre had come to give him lunch and water, also a bathroom break a good four hours ago. Duo had really started to miss Heero, he didn't think he was ever coming back again.... ever. When the tone sounded Heero was home. Duo leapt up from his pillow and was running around in his cage in a circle like a very excited puppy.

Heero came in the house shut the door behind him, he yawned and starched his fists over his head. He then toed himself out of his shoes. He sat down on the third step leading up stairs, then rubbed them giving a groan of relive, then he stood up and went to the kitchen he opened the fridge, he got himself a beer and opened the lid he took himself a nice big swig, tell it was half way gone. Then he walked over to the sofa he sat down he propped his feet up on the coffee table, he picked up his favorite book. He ended up falling to sleep after he finished off just one beer.
Duo sat in the same position waiting, for his master to come up and see him to let him out, it never seemed like he was coming, Duo's shoulders started to slump. His head went down he started to whimper. Duo didn't even know how to control his emotions anymore and the tears just ran down his cheeks, he was heartbroken, Heero didn't come see him.
Duo rubbed his arm across his eyes, maybe it was just a figment of his imagination? Maybe Master really wasn't home. This wasn't good he just knocked over his water dish, so he'd not have water tell another two hours when Quatre let him out. Not that Duo had any concept of time in this very dark lonely room.
Heero had only meant to sit down and read one chapter before going to see Duo, he woke up two hours later he found he had a blanket on his body and pillow under his head on the sofa. He saw Duo sitting up chained to the pet pole across the room looking watching him. Duo's body was trembling when he saw Heero opening his eyes. Quatre made Duo promise not to make a sound while Heero slept he'd put him on the pet pole.
Duo kept that promise, Heero sat up the blankets falling off his shoulders, he turned and picked up his book he closed it. Heero of course was glad to see Duo but he never showed it ever, Heero walked down the hallway to the restroom. Duo whimpered he put his head down again when Heero ignored him.
Quatre came into the living room, "Sh..Sh" Duo you want to get in trouble?" Quatre wondered to him not wanting to see Duo getting the shit beat out of him ever. Quatre ran his hand over Duo's head who leaned it against Quatre's head and shut up.
Heero then returned to the living room, to see Quatre sitting in an arm chair with two cups of tea, "So how was Duo?" Heero wondered he finally walked over to Duo and gave him a pat on his head.

Quatre finished his tea, he stood up. "Of course no problem," Quatre nodded then left the house and went to the waiting car. Trowa had warmed up the car and was waiting inside for Quatre now. He had been loading Quatre's things, Trowa was reading a book in the quit privacy of their car. Trowa and Quatre of course tried to help Duo before, they only found it was a near deathly experiences to mess with Duo or try to help. Quatre refused to stay away so when it was needed Trowa and Quatre would at least come to check on Duo when Heero was gone. To at least make sure he is alright.
Heero turned to the window and watched Quatre get into the car, and Trowa and Quatre drove off. "No that is alright you don't have do anything," Heero then reached down and took Duo's hand's he helped him stand up. "No amount of words, I could ever say to you to tell you just how sorry I am for treating you this way." Heero then pulled Duo into his body for a hug.
Duo was really worried now, and confused, "But your my master, and you can do whatever you want to me." Duo tried to make Heero feel better just like a good loyal pet should.

Duo knew Heero wasn't in his right mind he was even more unpredictable like a ticking manic time bomb that would be blowing up very soon, and this bomb was hugging him.
Duo rubbed circles around on Heero's back, "Well, its ok Master, you are the master," then Heero pulled Duo suddenly back from him at arms length.
"How could you allow me to do something like this to you? What happened to your fight all spirit!?" Heero demanded to know he shook Duo on his shoulders some.
Everything went blurry again when Heero shook Duo, "I am not allowed to fight, you told me it only ends up getting me hurt Master, you are really confusing me is this some kind of game! I am sorry!" Duo whimpered waiting for Heero to throw him into the wall and beat him down to the ground for talking to much.
Heero blinked, "Well you should have kept fighting tell you died," Heero huffed, he pulled Duo back into his body like a doll anyways.
"Master you never hurt me enough to kill me, you told me that its either be a pet or death on the battle field. You never actually let me choose you picked it for me. Master you are very strong. I can't out fight you, I am much to weak." Duo explained to Heero.
Heero shook his head it was still so wrong, his new thought told him, "Well I'll get you dressed I'll take you out for a nice supper how about that?"
"Alright of course its all up to you master." Duo bowed, So Heero got Duo cleaned up and himself and got him in some of his clothes for now to barrow. Heero drove Duo to town, "I haven't been to town in five years Master." Duo said happily looking out the window.
All of this was making Heero sick to his stomach how could he do this to Duo HOW!?
