Having restored the planet back to normal with the dragon balls, Dende attempted to revive all of those slain by the bio android.
All was working well until...
“THE ONE KNOWN AS SON GOHAN IS NOT DEAD.”
“WHAT!” Goku and Chi-Chi exclaimed as they looked at the dragon.
“Then bring the brat here!” Vegeta said.
“HE SAYS HE WILL NOT RETURN UNTIL HE IS READY.”
‘What do you mean Shenron?" Goku asked.
“GOHAN WANTS THE TWO OF HIS PARENTS TO HAVE SOME TIME TO THEMSELVES TO SORT OUT THEIR LIVES.”
“We can do that with him he... Chi-Chi began.
“GOHAN SAYS HE WILL KNOW WHEN HE SHOULD RETURN AND NOT BEFORE.” Shenron said as he looked at the married couple.
“You can’t be serious..” Vegeta said as he stared at Shenron.
“DEADLY SERIOUS, THE BOY HAS BEEN PUT THROUGH MORE THAN WAS EXPECTED OF HIM, NOW JUST AS SON GOKU STAYED AWAY TO MASTER HIS SUPER SAIYAN POWERS, GOHAN IS STAYING AWAY TO FIND HIMSELF.”
“What have you done Goku?!” Chi-Chi cried.
“What can we do?” Goku asked, stunned that his son’s last battle was the last time he would ever see his son.
“SIMPLE, SURPASS YOUR SON.”

“GOHAN HAD ONE WISH BEFORE HE LEFT THIS WORLD THAT IS BEYOND MY POWER, AND THAT WAS FOR YOU AND VEGETA TO SURPASS HIM.”
“Gohan...”
‘HE SWORE THAT NO OTHER CHILD WAS GOING TO BE PUT THROUGH WHAT HE HAD TO GO THROUGH. SO YOU MUST BOTH PROTECT THE WORLD WITH YOUR OWN HANDS ALONGSIDE YOUR FRIENDS.’ King Kai interrupted.
“KING KAI?!” Goku exclaimed.
“I too was privileged to speak with your Son Goku... and I too believe that you should have handled it with your own hands and not your son’s.”
“I told you he shouldn’t have been fighting with that monster!” Chi-Chi shouted.
'I will not give you the location of the world that your son is on but don’t worry, no one on that planet can beat him as he is now.' King Kai stated.
"Then I guess we have a wish left over." Goku sighed.
"Can I take it Goku?" Krillin asked making the group look at him.
"You've got a wish Krillin?" Goku asked.
"Well it's not exactly for me.. Krillin said while rubbing his head.
"EHHH!"
"Why would you want to do that?!" Yamcha exclaimed.
"They didn't ask to be turned into monsters, they deserve to be happy too." Krillin replied making a hidden Android 18 begin to tear up.
"I am sorry but your wish is beyond my power." Shenron replied.
"Then could we save the wish for another time?" Krillin asked.
"That is possible." Shenron said before making his leave.
"I'm sure you had another wish." Goku said.
"I did but since Bulma could do it for android 16 she should be able to do it for 17 and 18." Krillin stated.
"Your talking about removing the bombs from the androids aren't you?" Trunks said with a frown.
"I know you have problems with them in your timeline, but here they haven't done anything really bad. Could you give them a chance?" Krillin said.
"Well since we're all stronger than them now I guess it wouldn't hurt." Trunks replied.
"HEY!!"
Turning at the sound the group stare at the female android.
Ignoring the looks, android 18 walked up to Krillin.
"Why are you deciding my life shorty?!"
"I'm not... I just want you to be happy with your boyfriend."
"For your information my name is Lazuli, my BROTHER'S name is Lapis!"
"Y..your brother?!" Trunks exclaimed.
"Yes Lapis/17 is my twin brother, we were kids on the streets before Gero found us and experimented on our bodies." Lazuli/18 replied.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" Krillin exclaimed.
"What did you mean by the same as 16?" Lazuli asked.
"I have a friend who removed the bomb from 16's chest she should be able to do the same for you and your brother."
"And what do you get out of it?"
"Your happiness.."
"Damn Krillin a cassanova over here." Yamcha muttered.
"And what if I want to keep my bomb?!"
"Then at least I tried." Krillin shrugged.
"Well first I need to find my brother, I'll decide what to do from then." Lazuli said as she took to the skies.
Staring up at the android, Krillin sighed as she glanced at him before taking off.
"What's next?"
