Act II
Behind that Son Smile
Trunks stood with Marron as he
announced their engagement. Marron smiling face was looking at him as he asked
her to be his wife he pl the the ring on her finger and kissed her and the
cheering had started Trunks felt as if he was making the right decision by
marrying Marron everyone was thrilled as they congratulated them even Pan she
smiled brilliantly and wished they the best of luck. Trunks and Marron had
thanked her she made some apologizes and left after a couple of hours Trunks
had watched her go it was then that he started having a strange feeling in his
stomach he thought it was something he ate.
After the party Trunks took Marron
to her parents and headed home. After kissing her goodbye he left her promising
to take her dancing the following night. When Trunks got home het stt straight
for the shower after he ate and dressed he decided to do some paperwork, the
feeling from earlier had no left Trunks as he tried to concentrate on his work
but the feeling of something terribly wrong wouldn’t leave him Trunks had
enough he called everyone making sure nothing was wrong the last person on his
list was Pan. He dial her number and got her machine Trunks figured she was out
partying after all Pan seemed happy today so he seriously doubted if any thing
was wrong with her. Trunks sighed maybe what he need was a vocation away from
it all then he wouldn’t be so paranoid all the time, Yes thought Trunks he
would take a vocation but right now he was exhausted for some reason. As Trunks
laid in his bed that night he kept on thinking that he lost something but he
couldn’t remember what Trunks closed his eyes and prayed this feeling would
stop.
The next morning Trunks woke with
the same uneasy feeling only it felt a little stronger today Trunks was
miserable he knew something was wrong but everyone he knew was fine “Kami! I
need a serious vacation,” he muttered as he left for Capsule Corp that morning
with the feeling still nagging him.
