Keeping My Hands Busy

Ahhhh...wow, I didn't think anyone was going to get that upset about what was going to happen to poor Quatre. I do have a reason for being mean to him now, I promise I'll make it all better...after it gets worse.

If Trowa was pissed when he was in class, he was beyond guilty now. He was sure that telling Quatre what to do was the right thing. He had gotten him to stay in the hospital bed that way, but it didn't look like that was what the blonde needed. He was standing on Quatre's doorstep for the past ten minutes with no reply. He felt bad enough that he had tried to force the little one into something, even if it was just dinner, when he had promised he wouldn't.


He sighed as he leaned his head against the door...what was he thinking. He was thinking that he needed to find a way to get their little one back and he tried the worst thing first. Trowa wasn't proud of himself, quite the opposite actually. When he had ordered his little one, he hadn't missed the fear that past through his eyes. He should of just said he was sorry then and left.


Trowa knocked one last time before giving up and walking back to his house. No one would try to steal Duo's car from in front of the blonde's house. It had taken him a half hour to walk home instead of the usual ten minutes and when he got there, he knew he shouldn't have walked so slow. Duo and Heero were sitting on the front step when he stepped into the yard. They both slowly looked up at him with blank faces. That was normal from Heero...but Duo?


Trowa was flat on his back so fast he had the wind knocked out of him. His jaw and stomach seemed to sting a little too. Oh...they were standing above him...and now where they had punched him was throbbing. He was about to stand up, to ask what had gotten into them when he saw Wufei join them and stare down at him.


"I don't know what you did Barton but you really fucked up." Wufei said...well at least he didn't hit him.


"Wha-"


"He changed the locks, the security systems. Everything. We can get into our houses, if we want to break in every time. He hasn't answered his phone all day, he won't answer his door. He left messages for all of us telling us that if he sees us with you, we'll get fired. He fired you the minute you walked out of the office. You made him worse Barton, you haven't helped him at all." Duo was crying now. Trowa had done some stupid things in his life, but this by far was his biggest fuck up.


"Guys...I-"


"Look, Trowa, we don't really care what you did. But you have to make it better-"


"Heero you can't let him near-" Duo almost screamed.


"Quatre does need you, you just went about it the wrong way. You're responsible for getting back into his good graces without a bullet in your head, because whatever you did to him...he'd put one there." Trowa nodded slowly, he understood. He took the hand that Wufei offered him and got to his feet.


"So has anyone seen him since he left the office?" He asked as he looked at the other three pilots. Receiving no's from each of them Trowa's brain kicked into over time. "He'd shoot me in the head if I did something that bad again right?" Receiving nods he continued. "He wouldn't hurt himself?"


All three pilots had different reactions but all of them were equally bad in Trowa's opinion, he was running before any of the others thought to. Quatre would be fine, he was just a little pissed-really really pissed at Trowa. He wouldn't do anything to hurt himself...at least that's what Trowa was telling himself over and over. By the time he had reached Quatre's door his chanting had changed to 'It's all my fault, what did I do?'

Ok, so I did do this for a reason, and I felt I should update really soon to get the reactions to it. Nomdeplume, I did it this way first, and you're absolutly right, Quatre is going to have some flash backs coming up. I will get Trowa on his good side again. Anyways...Reveiw please.
