The next day Roy heard a faint knocking as if it echoed from some place far away, it almost seemed dulled. Then he felt the warmth under his arm shift and move to where it would make the Colonel roll over face flat on the bed. “Shit,” Roy heard Edward hissing looking over at the time it was seven am Roy had slept over his time Ed thought and he came into the awareness that Alphonse may be a tad worried for him.

Roy moaned “What is that annoying knocking?” Roy wondered lifting his head up some his eyes were still closed and he had stubble on his face and some hair on the left side of his head was sticking up. He looked like hell in more then less words

“Its Alphonse he came to look for me,” Edward said hearing him shouting from down Stairs for Roy. Ed looked over at Roy who looked as if he was going to go back to sleep. “Well are you going to answer it or not!?” Edward demanded to know not wanting to face his pissed off brother.

“What why do I have to go he is your brother, I don’t feel so well I have hang over and I am not going into work today” Roy muttered feeling like if he moved again he’d lose something from his stomach. Though there really was nothing to lose. Plus Roy just didn’t feel like talking with the younger Elric when Ed could talk with him just fine he thought.

“Gah fine!” Edward huffed, “Some help you are lazy bag of bones,” Edward then tunneled under the blankets and stood up on the bed and wrapped them around his body like a large cape and stepped off the bed taking Roy’s blankets with him.

“No no!” Roy moaned and tried to grab at the end of the blankets but it didn’t work Ed had moved to fast for his hung over brain. So now Roy lay there naked without covers, “Shit head!” Roy mumbled and took Ed’s pillow and put it over his ass an then put his own pillow over his head.

“Clam down Alphonse I’ll explain everything geez don’t be going around smacking me when you don’t know the full story that isn’t normally like you.” Ed said and tugged his brother into the house and shut the door behind him.

“I am sorry alright so tell me what the heck happened you get a horny urge in the middle of the night and deiced to have a mid night snack or something?” Alphonse wondered putting his hands on his hips and tapped his foot.

The next thing he heard that made it the last straw for him was something sounded as if it had broken, his eye twitched even from under the blankets. That did it, Roy tossed the pillow off of his head and he pulled on his boxers.

The sound of something breaking was because Edward and Alphonse were both rolling around on the floor in a wrestling match. “Yes I am famished how much longer tell its done?” Roy wondered to Edward and walked into the living room and flopped down on the sofa next to Edward.

“By the way Ed is the one who made the food, really I just set the table and made the pie” Alphonse said not wanting to take the credit for what Ed did because Ed Always seemed to make such good food. Roy nodded to Alphonse and had an impressed look on his face hearing Ed made the roast or prepaired it.


“Oh an hour sorry I didn’t think you’d be awake yet honestly, you are a trooper.” Edward said patting Roy on his leg who seemed a bit put off that he’d have to wait one more hour................

The hour finally ended and the three were now seated comfortably around the table and Roy was quiet impressed indeed with Edward’s cooking skills once he tried some of his roast beef. “Hmn wow Edward you will make me a sweet wife after all if you can cook this well.” Roy said half joking and half serious.

Edward smiled he was glad Roy liked it that much it really made him feel good, “Well then I am very pleased you like it.” Edward smirked the three enjoyed there meal without too much talking. When the food was good most of the time people just wanted to eat and Roy really wasn’t that much of a talker.
