Chapter 22

Duo was now eight months pregnant and looked like he was already about to have a baby very soon. He was sitting on the lounge chair on the balcony in his bedroom licking a villain Ice cream.

“Hi there little cutie baby,” came the sound of very high pitch squeaky voice Heero was holding Xanatos who was now eleven months he was holding up a fluffy bunny. Xanatos was giggling up a storm he was dressed in light green overalls with a white short sleeve shirt under it. Heero would touch Xanatos’s nose with it. “Bopp Boooop! AHH Boop!” Heero said making funny sounds when he touched Xanatos’s nose with the bunny.

Xanatos giggled and grabbed the bunny and tried to chew on it, Heero pulled the bunny away before he could'nt. “Da ..da,” He said which was his first word he ever spoke Heero’s eyes lit up Duo looked over his ice cream cone was almost gone now. “Da..da ooop!” Xanatos said trying to mock him. Xanatos was even more adorable as well with long hair reddish dark brown hair that went to the bottom of his neck in little waves he had cute bangs and dark blue eyes.

Duo chuckled, “Awww soo cute!” Duo’s eyes sparkled when Xanatos had said this, “I think that is the cutest thing I have ever heard a baby say not that I have heard many babies. Oh well that is so adorable.” Duo said and ate the rest of his ice cream cone then got his napkin and whipped his fingers and hands.

“Yes that is, Xanatos you are such a smart son,” Heero said and kissed him on the middle of his forehead.

Duo leaned on the arm rest of his chair and looked over at his son, “Xanatos can you say ma, ma?” Duo said slowly in a cute little tone Xanatos looked over at Duo when he spoke.

“Da…da!” Xanatos said waving his little fists around Duo sighed and chuckled.

“Yeah close enough,” Duo shrugged then gave a burp then thrust forward and put a hand on his stomach cause he had just been kicked from the inside. “Ouch!” Duo said winking and put his hand on his stomach.

Heero chuckled at Duo then his face went serious, “Are you ok?” He wondered and stood Xanatos up on his thighs so he could stand on his wobbly chubby legs.

“Yeah I think so, the baby inside just really kicked me pretty hard that is all.” Duo said “Sorry baby didn’t mean to upset you or are you just wanting more ice cream?” Duo wondered “Hmn that does sound like a good Idea.” He said talking to his belly or baby or both.

Heero sighed he knew that telling Duo not to eat too much was pointless but he couldn’t help but be somewhat caring well he did care. Thus why he spoke up, “Duo don’t you think you had enough?” He wondered to his husband who was starting to try and get up from his cozy spot on the chair.

“If I thought I had enough I wouldn’t be going to get more,” Duo replied and managed to stand up.

“Da..da oooop …da…da oooop!” Xanatos sung this while he was bouncing up and down on his little chubby legs.

Duo chuckled again when Xanatos was saying this he was so cute Duo walked over to Xanatos and picked him up and kissed him on the cheek ”You’re so cute,” he said nuzzling his nose on Xanatos’s cheek Xanatos then took this chance to bury his little fist in Duo’s hair and pull a handful out and started to suckle on it. Duo sighed Xanatos had gotten into the habit of sucking on Duo’s hair for comfort. Duo of course didn’t like it he thought it was disgusting.”No Xanatos don’t eat hair,” He said and managed to detangled his fingers Duo handed him back to Heero.

Heero took his son back and kissed him on the cheek, “Hiya Xanatos,” Heero said and stood up and put the baby on his hip. Heero then fallowed Duo into the house where Duo was going to get himself some more ice cream weather anyone like it or not.

Xanatos then dug his hand into Heero’s hair even if it was shorter he still liked the feel of it and would move the hair between his fingers……….
