Vegeta, Kakarot and the rest of the Saiyans that had traveled to Namek appeared in the throne room, falling to the ground. Vegeta hit the ground first and everyone else landed on him.
“Get off of me!” he yelled, powering up and send them flying off of him.
“Well that was mildly entertaining.”
“You!” Vegeta jumped up and turned to glare at Nix, “Do you have any idea what you have done?”
“Killed your father, banished your sister, got the Saiyans back from Frieza and now...” Nix walked to Vegeta and peered down at him, “We’re preparing...”
“Well I hope your preparing to get your ass beat,” Vegeta snarled. A large ki attack hit the palace behind them. Screams and cries of horror could be heard from inside and outside the palace. “We’ll deal with this later...” Vegeta snapped.
Nix turned to the others and yelled, “Take care of the capital and surrounding villages.” Then he and Vegeta took off through the hole in the palace.
“Go protect your mother!” Bardock yelled to Kakarot. Kakarot nodded and they took off in different directions.
Vegeta and Nix fought their way through the capital, slaughtering Frieza’s men along the way. They stopped and stared up at the sky as Frieza’s soldiers surrounded them. “He’s up there isn’t he?” Nix asked.
“Of course he’s up there. He’s a little bitch!” Vegeta snarled, blasting half the soldiers.
“Think it’s a trap?” Nix asked blasting the other half.
“Yup,” Vegeta muttered.
“So...are we going to come up with a plan or...and he’s already flying up there...great...” Nix said with an eye roll before taking off after Vegeta.
The two flew their way up through the atmosphere, fighting Frieza’s men along the way. When they were finally in front of the ship, Vegeta yelled, “Hey, Frieza! Get out here and face me like a real man, you pansy!”
“Are we sure on his gender?” Nix asked.
“Not now!” Vegeta snapped.
Frieza emerged from the ship. “Hello, Vegeta, I was not aware of your return.”
“Shove the false pleasantries up your ass,” Vegeta yelled.
“My, my. How rude and here I was going to halt the order of your people and planets destruction, but since you seem so keen to continue being a foul mouthed little brat...” Frieza raised one finger gathering dark energy at its tip, “I’m sorry, Vegeta... I didn’t want to do this...oh, who am I kidding? Yes, I did.” The ki ball was now the size of a small moon and Frieza flicked his finger at the two Saiyans. It moved slowly towards them.
Nix and Vegeta stared at the planet destroying ki attack. “Got any plans?” Nix asked.
“One...” Vegeta told him.
“Well?” Nix asked.
“Blast it back at the bastard,” Vegeta told him, already powering up to gather as much energy as he could, “Hold it back so I can gather the energy to do it.”
“Be a meat shield! Got it!” Nix said as he flew towards the attack. He tried to hold it where it was, but it kept creeping towards the planet. Nix closed his eyes, trying to focus on holding the blast back. His teeth ground together, his palms burned, but he continued trying to hold it back. The attack pushed him into the atmosphere and toward the planet. Nix could hear the screams of his people. His eyes snapped open and he powered up, becoming a super Saiyan. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see attacks being shot at the blast he was holding off. Slowly, with the help of those attacks, he was able to push Frieza’s attack back into space. Sensing energy that rivaled the power of Frieza’s attack, he glanced behind him only to see yellow ki flying right for him and Frieza’s attack. He tried to escape but was completely stuck. His screams were drowned out by the sound of the attacks colliding. He was blinded by the explosion and everything went dark.
Vegeta panted while he watched the attacks hit Frieza’s ship, sending it flying. He couldn’t sense the tyrant. He had done it. Finally...the Saiyans were free. He breathed a sigh of relief before losing conciseness, falling to the planet below.
