KansouAme, don’t fall of your seat hun! TrulyWished, thank you! mina, yay, no grammar mistakes this time! And I’m glad you like the ‘who’s-the-villain’ thing I have going on. A fic with much fluff and kisses, hugs and love, and fics with just sex and no plot are both fun, but I can’t write either. Alien, so glad you like Wrath the way I have made him in this fic. I love that little guy. And I’m sorry if I’m giving Envy bad ideas and making him more mean and evil. Koneko, most of your questions will be answered in the following chapters, and teasers…well…I’m a tease, sorry, but I love to make people fall from their seats. Pauline, more flattering words, thank you! I never get tired of them.

Chapter 29; Prize
Ed spaced out as the women in the back of the car gossiped and laughed well naturedly. He rested his head on the window and sighed.
Roy was avoiding him.
Okay, so Roy was avoiding everybody. Even more so than usual. Ever since the phone call Roy had gotten the night Ed had been watching Wrath, Roy had been in a stage of manic depression. When they'd worked together on his new car, he'd been silent and when Ed had asked him what was wrong, he'd answered with a grunt and a solid ’mind your own goddamn business’.
Ed knew better than to take offense but his pride wouldn't let him go so far as to attempt idle conversation with the lead racer. So he'd let Roy do most of the work while he'd worked on some projects of his own. Mainly finishing his racer. Now that Wrath had gone back home to Dublith, Al had more time to study and Ed had all the time he needed after work. Time he would have liked to spend with a certain arrogant lead racer. Ed sighed again, shaking his head.
"Okay Edward. Sigh one more time and I'm going to have to throw you out of the car. With my bare hands." Riza wiggled her fingers on the steering wheel for effect. Ed almost blushed in embarrassment. He didn't know that he was being so loud. The other two women in the back, Winry and Psiren, laughed at his expense.
"What's eating you?" Winry wanted to know.
Ed shook his head. "Nothing Tinkerbell. I'm just a little... stressed."
Riza chuckled. "Stressed or frustrated? As in sexually frustrated." The three women giggled like teenage girls.
"The Colonel is not putting out huh?” Psiren teased. ”Don't worry. It happens to the best of us."
This time Ed did blush. "I don't know what you're talking about." Ed rolled his eyes. 'Lame cover.'
"I think you know what we mean," Riza helped, raising her eyebrows. Apparently, news of the foiled 'date' between him, Speed, Jenny and Roy had spread to everyone during the last week. And from Ed's perspective, the info had gone from Hughes to Havoc to Winry and since telling Winry was basically like telling everyone else...
"Hughes and his big mouth," Ed muttered. "I swear, it would be so much easier to like Roy if he wasn't so damn agitating. Sometimes you just want to shake the guy.”
Psiren laughed. "It's called The Dick, sweetheart." Riza and Winry snorted, rolling their eyes. "Something old Hawkeye hasn’t seen in a while. She hasn’t gotten laid in over a year in case you didn't know. Saving herself for marriage. How sweet, right?"
Riza raised an eyebrow, looking at the rear view mirror to see the blond with the cleavage. "Airing dirty laundry are we?"
Psiren shook her head and ignored Riza. "The Dick, Eddie, is a funny thing. It's a scientific fact that The Dick is where the male ego originates."
Riza rolled her eyes in Ed's direction. "It's true. In fact, the bigger The Dick, the bigger the ego."
"And we all know what a big ego Roy has," Winry laughed.
Riza exhaled loudly. "So didn't want to hear that."
The women in the back laughed while Riza maneuvered the vehicle through the rapidly thickening horde of people. She stopped it in an open space next to a car that was blasting loud music and waited for everyone to get out.
This time the drag scene was a huge underground parking lot. It was a dangerous choice since it wasn’t easy to get away if cops were to show up. But the air was thick with adrenaline, the fear of getting caught only adding to the tension as everybody waited for some hard core drifting.
"A lot of people tonight," Ed observed.
Winry nodded. "It's Friday."
Riza stood on her tiptoes and looked over the crowd. "I wonder if Scar's here yet."
Ed raised an eyebrow but didn't comment on the other woman's eagerness to see Scar. "I don’t think the race scene is his scene Hawkeye," he answered.
"But there he is," Psiren pointed out. They spotted him through the crowd sipping on an energy drink and looking like he was lost in his own little world. The four went over to greet him.
"Hey Scar," Ed said when the older man saw them. He smiled and set his drink on the car he was leaning on.
"Hey Edward," he greeted back, turning his glance at the omen. "You ladies looking beautiful tonight, as usual."
Psiren raised her eyebrows in pleased surprise. "I envy the girl who snags this one. Right Riza?" she said, turning to look at said woman.
Riza crossed her arms. "I know not what you speak of."
"Oh really?" Psiren challenged.
"Yes, really."
Scar shook his head. "I think Clara's talking about you and me. You know? Just the other night at the restaurant we were kiss--"
"Okay Scar," Riza cut him off. "I was just trying to be subtle."
"So much for that," Winry said.
"What are you planning on doing tonight?" Ed asked Scar, wondering why a cop was at the drags. If he was undercover and about to do a bust, he would have told Ed to stay a home like a good little boy.
Scar shrugged his shoulders. "I don’t know. Hang out. Race Mustang. Meet some new people." He said the second part so nonchalantly that Ed didn't believe he heard right.
"Did he just say what I think he said?" Psiren asked the women incredulously.
Scar nodded his head and said a little annoyed. "I don't know why that's so hard to believe."
Riza shook her head. "Because it's dangerous. Especially against the Colonel. He's reckless."
Scar sighed. "Believe it or not, I'm not as dumb as you think. At least I don't think I am. I know what I'm doing."
Riza shook her head, not convinced, but letting him have his way.
"We gotta go," Winry said, referring to her and Psiren. "We're on watch for the law with Jay and Falman. For some reason, Jay knows more about cops than most people. You'd think he was one himself or something. See you guys later?" The other three nodded and watched as they made their way through the noisy crowd.
"Well," Ed said, "Guess that's my cue to act like I have something to do and leave. Don't want to interrupt another session of whatever happened at the restaurant the other night."
Scar winked at the blond man and Ed gave the old man thumbs up and began to wander around.
"Hey blondy!" Ed heard a man call. "Do you wanna get broke off?" The other men he was hanging with began to laugh. Ed ignored them and kept walking. 'Not in the mood.' He felt the unknown man's large presence sidle up alongside him. The guy was a huge muscled burly man with a bald head. "So what do you say huh? Me, you? I mean, you look like we could have a good time."
Ed rolled his eyes. This guy wasn't for real, was he? Obviously he was under the impression that he'd pick the blond up with his lines. Ed didn't even glance at him. "No thanks," he replied absently. He finally spotted Roy a bit away, arms crossed, leaning against the door of his vehicle. The lead racer was in the company of guys this time. Probably guys he didn't know. They were standing in a huge circle, Roy, of course, out of the circle, egging two men on as they free styled against each other. Roy just watched, not making a sound.
"Come on cutie. You know you want this body. What's your name anyway?"
Roy must have felt Ed’s gaze because he turned to glance at the blond.
"I'm Jerome. They call me Jerry."
Ed gave Roy a look that said, 'Get over here before I kick this guy in the balls’. Roy sighed irately, uncrossing his arms and walking towards them.
"Hey! Aren't you that blond guy who almost killed Flame in that race some weeks back? I wish you did. The guy's an asshole who needs to get beat once in a while."
"Is that right?" Roy inquired, stepping in between the two. Ed's sigh of relief at Roy's interruption turned into apprehension when he slid his arms around Ed possessively. Ed reflexively leaned his head against Roy’s chest.
Jerry's eyes widened in surprise and he backed up. "You know I'm just fucking around Flame. Didn't know he was your piece."
Ed took offense at the term but opted not to say anything.
Roy gave the guy a condescending look. "Of course you didn't, Jerry," he said, accentuating the other man's name distastefully. "You can't help it if you're a little bit slow."
He slipped his thumbs into the back pockets of Ed's leather pants, loosely cupping the blond’s bottom with his palm. Ed’s stomach fluttered when Roy pulled him closer.
Jerry smiled, acting as if Roy was joking, yet knowing he wasn't. "Not as slow as you on the track," he said in the same joking-yet-not-joking manner. Ed felt it odd that the two knew how much they disliked each other, yet they were acting as if they didn't. So unlike Roy. "I plan to see you at the Wars. We can race for slips."
Roy nodded in a 'yeah right' kind of way.
"Well, I'm gonna go pick myself up a pretty one," Jerry said, turning to leave. "There'd a whole bunch tonight just waiting to be fucked!"
"Happy hunting, dumb fuck," Roy muttered when the guy was out of hearing range. Ed waited for Roy to let go of him, but he didn't, seeming quite comfortable in their position.
"Thanks," Ed said sheepishly, feeling Roy’s hands burn through his pants hotly.
"I hate that bastard," Roy said.
"I think I do too."
"Good."
"Where's you usual flock of hot chicks?" Ed asked. "They appear to be MIA tonight. Replaced by a bunch of guys."
Roy finally unhooked his thumbs from Ed’s pockets and backed up to an appropriate distance, as if just remembering himself. Ed decided he like Roy better up close. "I told 'em to leave me the hell alone."
Ed raised an eyebrow. "Like you've been telling the rest of us lately"
"I have not," Roy disagreed.
"Right. You've been as pleasant as a ball of sunshine all week."
"Your sarcasm is refreshing."
Ed smiled, tilting his head to the side and combing a hand through his bangs. "I learn from the best. You know, I think you're starting to rub off on me," he admitted.
Roy smirked, forgoing the many innuendos he could say. "Is that a good thing?"
Ed gave him a thoughtful look. "I'm still trying to figure that out."
Roy didn't say anything, trying not to focus on how the cool breeze made the fine hairs on Ed’s skin stand up. They fell into a rare silence.
"So," Ed started, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable. "I heard Scar's dragging tonight."
"Yeah he is. He'll just make a fool out of himself. New guys should stay away from the pros."
"Hey, I almost beat you once."
"Almost and once being the operative words."
"Hopefully you won't kill him out there."
"Literally or otherwise?"
"Both."
Roy smirked. "I'm not promising anything, Fullmetal. I'll keep you in mind and try not to beat him too bad," he said arrogantly.
Ed rolled his eyes. "Such a big head for such a pea-brained guy."
"With the sarcasm again," Roy said, walking back to his car. "You only do it because you like me."
Ed shook his head and watched the lead racer until he returned to his original stoic position, arms crossed, leaning on his car. A resounding 'oooh' went through the air as one battler hit the other with a witty lyrical punch. Ed gave him one last smile and Roy tried to act like he didn't see him. But the blond caught the barest hint of the man’s upturned lips.
Ed turned around to wander again, a smile still gracing his own lips. It was odd how Roy could make him so angry, yet two minutes later, he'd have the blond permanently smiling like a Botox patient.

When Roy had heard Scar would be racing, he had made sure it would be them drifting against each other. Roy was sure that was what Scar had had in mind the whole time. Besides, they had never raced before against each other.
Roy drove his car to the spot from where they would start and waited for Scar to make his way through the crowd. The people around him must have thought he was cocky from the looks of the smirk on the lead racer’s face. Roy was just excited. He didn’t know that Scar could drift, but then again he didn’t know anything about what the man had done for the past years. Not after the drug bust that almost put Roy in jail.
They had met through their dealers and soon hanged in the same crowds. Drugs, alcohol, women…Roy had honestly thought Scar had been his homeboy, watching his back. It was in those early days that Roy came to know Envy. In the beginning, he had been the kid’s dealer, and when the green haired pretty boy cut the habit, Roy and he started doing business. That was until the night half of Central’s police force came through the front and back door. There had been shouting, panic and shooting. Roy, although believed to be ruthless, could not fire a single shot, instead headed for the door like a coward running from a fight.
At the door someone had stopped him and he had attacked the man, pushing him out of the way. But the persistent man had grabbed him, pulling his arm, and Roy had acted on instinct: Grabbing the cop by his neck and ramming the guy’s face into the wall…over and over again.
He didn’t stop until he heard a muffled sound that sounded frighteningly like his name.
Roy came back to reality as a motor was revved next to him. The race was about to begin. He looked out the car window, facing his past mistake and didn’t look away until Scar wiped his brow.
The lead racer held the wheel more loosely, knowing that his opponent was already sweating. He felt the famous smirk curl on his lips, returning this his current self. He didn’t like Riza dating that guy, mostly since he didn’t know if he should feel guilty or betrayed. Besides, thinking about he past also reminded him that he was indebted to Envy.
Shaking his head he glanced one last time in Scar’s direction, noticing that the other man seemed more collected now. Roy knew that his would get interesting…
A woman stepped in between the cars and tapped on the hoods, signaling the men to get ready. ”Steady,” she shouted, raising her hands high. ”GO,” and her arms fell down, half the howls and cheers for the way her ample breasts bounced, the rest to wish god’s speed to the racers who took of, the air filled with the smell of burnt rubber and the sound of tires screeching.
Ed stood on the tip of his toes to see passed the crowd, too short to get a clear view but not small enough to get passed the mass of people. Suddenly Riza grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the crowd.
”What are you doing?!” Ed demanded. ”We are going to miss the race!”
Riza showed him inside an elevator and pressed the button that would take them to the top where the race would end. Ed was too scared to speak as Riza angrily muttered abut shooting Scar for being many very insulting things.
********************************************************************************
”Shit!” Scar hissed after he had just made a fool out of himself. He had a big lead on Roy in the beginning, but the lead racer had been smiling the entire time. Before Scar knew it, there had been a very sharp turn and he had not been able to turn in time and smashed into a parked car.
”Shit,” he said again as Roy on the other hand pulled off a perfect drift while smirking at him. Scar continued to chant curses in his head as he revved the engine up again, telling himself he only slipped because he was a little rusty. And now he was more than ever obsessed with winning. He needed the prize money to fix the car or Hakuro would have his head on a plate for wrecking a race car bought with the law’s money.
Scar was actually able to pass Roy a few times and have a lead on the lead racer, but in the end, as the neared the top floor, Roy won in a blowout. The cocky bastard had already parked his car when Scar drove up the ramp with his wrecked ride.
Roy had to admit, the guy could drive even when the car was wrecked. He sat on the hood of his car with his arms crossed as he watched Scar step out of the car. He was surprised that there was no bitterness to be seen on Scar’s face, nor an angry glint in his red eyes.
Scar stretched out his hand holding his share of the prize money, Roy recognizing the old dealer’s habit how money was exchanged on the street. The lead racer took the man’s hand, shaking it even. The prize was handed over and the racers were congratulating each other, but there was so much more to it. Roy had also noticed when taking Scar’s challenge that the prize was the same sum of money he had given Scar on Hughes’ daughter’s birthday party.
Suddenly Scar pulled Roy closer, the grip on his hand tightening as the red-eyed man whispered in Roy’s ear: ”I know about you and Envy. I want in on it.”
Scar saw Roy flinch visibly. Truth was, he didn’t know anything, but Roy’s reaction told him there was something and Envy was a part of it.
Scar backed of and Roy glanced at him as if inspecting is worth. That had been the whole idea with the race: to prove to Roy that he was still gangster. And by giving back the money Scar had made it clear that what happened in the past was not settled yet. The lead racer clearly glanced at the scar n the other man’s face. Scar had made his impression and taken the most dangerous road possible.
He knew to back off without saying another word while Riza had plenty of them, showering him with scolds and rhetorical questions.
”Did you have any idea how dangerous it is t race the Colonel? Were you trying to get killed? Are you just begging for trouble?”
Scar rolled his eyes at her. ’Does she ever run out of breath?’
”You are the most reckless, selfish---” Riza’s last word’s were muffled against Scar’s mouth, her eyes growing wide at his boldness to kiss her in the middle of the crowd. But she didn’t care a damn about that!
People cheered when she wrapped her arms around his neck, many men congratulating Scar that he had someone to lick his wounds and give the loser his prize.
Roy shook his head, sill not knowing if he liked Riza hanging around that guy. ’So he wants in…he says he knows…how does he know? Or is he bluffing? Or even worse…’ The last un-thought option would mean Roy would have to personally take care of Scar like he did years ago. He had been sold out, gotten his hands dirty, felt guilty and then upon hearing the truth been very damn satisfied with himself.
But any violent thoughts were brushed away from his mind as he felt lips on his neck. He turned his head sharply and found a par of amber eyes looking at him. Ed was about to say something when the sound of a storm blowing up reached them upon an icy wind followed by the thunder rolling in. Both looked up and saw that heavy clouds had covered the sky without them noticing. A few drops fell from those grey heavens, one hitting Ed on the cheek.
The blond looked at Roy, the raindrop looking like a lonesome teardrop. Roy quickly brushed it away, unable to picture Fullmetal crying. The smile on Ed’s face when Roy’s hand touched his cheek was contagious and Roy found himself smiling in public. Luckily for him, people had noticed that it was going to rain and hurried to their cars.
”If you get me home I’ll give you your prize,” Ed said mischievously, Roy raising his brows in a curious manner. The rain started to fall and they quickly got to their respective car door. Roy slid into the driver’s seat, starting the car but was confused when Ed didn’t get in, giving the blond an annoyed get-in-the-car-already kind of look.
”The door’s locked Colonel-bastard!” Ed yelled. The wind had picked up and it rained heavily. Ed was already soaked by the time Roy unlocked the passenger’s side door and Ed had climbed inside the car. The wind had ruffled up his hair and sighing Ed untied his hair from what was left of his braid.
They drove through the suburbs, not stopping or talking until Roy, to Ed’s great surprise, stopped at a red light on a Friday night. Roy might be reckless but he had seen even the best drivers get killed in storms like these. Not only was it raining as if there was a waterfall above their heads, but Central was always windy, in summer blowing arm winds, but when it rained there was no use in bringing an umbrella.
”Roy?”
”What?” Roy felt Ed’s hand on his thigh, deciding that he would ask the blond back to his place after letting Ed say hat he had to say. The way Ed’s hand slowly ran up and down his thigh distracted him from hearing what Ed said. He looked up, the light was still red and he still couldn’t hear what Ed was saying. Ed’s hand on his thigh, stroking so seductively…he wanted to savor the feeling.
But he did hear the sound of his zipper pulled down.
”Ed, what--?”
”Shhh,” Ed hushed him, the blond’s hand cupping his groin. ”I told you.”
’How does he think I could possibly listen to him when he is doing that to me?’ Roy thought as Ed began to stroke his hardening manhood through the material of his boxers. Roy drew shaky breaths as gentle fingers pulled his semi erect member out of his pants and boxers.
”When we were on the back seat,” Ed whispered, the memory making Roy harder. ”It felt so good. After that I knew I wanted to do ’it’ in the front as well...”
”You can’t be suggesting we---” Roy saw that the light had turned to green and he started driving forwards. ”…right here.”
”Yes,” Ed smiled wickedly and bent to the task of lapping Roy’s dick. The blond licked from tip to root, tasting every inch of Roy’s impressive length. Driving through a thunderstorm is difficult at the worst of times, but trying to steer with your cock in a blond’s loving grip made it even harder. Unfortunately, Ed let go quickly when the car started hydroplaning and skidded, jerking his head against the steering wheel.
“Ouch! What’d you do that for?” Ed sneered at Roy, rubbing the back of his messy blond head.
“I didn’t do anything,” Roy said frustrated. ”Look, it’s a fucking ocean out there; cars are stopped all over the road. There’s an overpass up ahead, and I think we’d better stop. These tires just can’t handle the fucking storm.”
They pulled up to the overpass and parked behind a line of five other cars. Roy’s prick was still sticking out of his pants, hard, red, and wet.
Ed ran his tongue over his lips and smiled wickedly, moving back down into position much to Roy’s delight. The blond lashed his tongue at Roy’s prick head, taking the precum and running it like a gloss over his lips. His rapidly accelerating tongue took a turn over Roy’s balls, moving back to the erect shaft while his hand continued to fondle Roy’s sack. Ed’s tongue coiled around the head and flicked beneath the rim, sending shocks of pleasure through Roy’s shaft.
Roy was beginning to think Ed might never have given a blowjob because he wasn’t putting it in his mouth. Just then Ed opened wide and swallowed the head in one gulp, causing Roy to buck. Ed’s eyes widened, but inside his tongue raced around the top.
”Oh, Ed….so good…” Roy groaned. His balls contracted another inch when Ed’s throat seemed to miraculously open up and Ed slid another six inches. Ed moaned, his lips locked around Roy’s stiff shaft, the blond head bobbing up and down to the frantic drumbeats of the rain. Roy’s cock pulsed in Ed’s hot wet oral tunnel, and he lifted his hips from the seat and gently thrust into the hot mouth.
The car was rocking, but Ed didn’t know that and Roy didn’t care. Some of the other people who had stopped were milling about in the cover of the bridge. It was impossible to see through the curtain of rain that was only a few feet away. The windows were foggy, but clearing. Inch by inch of visible glass appeared on the misty windows as Roy’s orgasm grew closer. He wrapped his hand in Ed’s golden locks and began to lift and thrust Ed’s head on his dick. Ed was just amazing!
”Oh God! Ed!” Roy shouted, arching into the driver’s seat as he felt himself release into Ed’s mouth. The blond used his swallowing muscles to milk Roy for every last drop of cum he had. Ed shook his head, releasing his hair from Roy’s tight grasp and sat straight, licking his lips with a slightly disgusted expression.
Roy ran his fingers through Ed’s hair and brought Ed’s lips to his own, tasting himself on Ed’s lips and tongue. They parted and Roy drove the car while massaging Ed’s scalp at the same time, the blond almost purring like a cat. The lead racer pulled over a few miles from Ed’s house and pressed a button so that Ed’s seat was lowered back, the blond laying on his back flat and Roy moved to tower over him.
They just were frozen in that position for a while before Roy bent down and showered Ed with kisses, lying on top of the smaller man but Ed didn’t seem to mind as he was too busy to close his eyes and moan when Roy suckled on his throat.
They were too lost in each other for Ed to notice that he had received a message on his cell phone. An hour later and after many kisses and heavy petting, Ed would see the message waiting for him.
Edward, please call me as soon as you find the time. I haven’t been complete honest with you, so I need to talk to you. It’s about Roy, Edward. He’s….just call me, okay? Scar.

Scar.
