~~Two and a half months later~~

Heero was arriving for dinner with Duo by his side; Heero hasg pug put Duo\'s hair into a braid in which the boy loved very much. Heero loved Duo\'s hair and would allow no one to see it down, but for him from now on. They approached the dinning room table and sat down. Duo had waited for his master to sit down before he is allowed. Duo didn\'t know what was wrong with him today, but he didn\'t feel so well when he woke up. He didn\'t want the prince to know because he has to be strong to serve his master, but with weak legs, Duo didn\'t make it to his chair. Instead, he collapsed to the floor and allowed the darkness to take him.
Heero shot right up from his seat when he saw Duo collapse to the ground. Heero gathered his servant in his arms and called for the family healer while the Queen and King who were at the dinner table were shocked at what just happened. Quatre and Trowa were the one\'s that sprung into action and the family healer was called.

Duo woke up in a very serene bedroom. He could remeremember just what has happened, but for the fact that someone was in the room with him. Duo quickly got up from the bed which was probably a bad idea because he toppled over and strong hands straightened him up. Duo looked up to expect his master, but instead he was face to face with a complete stranger. Duo started to panic calling for his master, but no one came to his aid.
Finally the stranger spoke. \"Don\'t be frightened Duo, I\'m Wufei, the royal family healer, please stay calm\" the healer said, but Duo did not want to calm down until he saw his master in order to feel safe again.
\"Please, stop it. Your master would be with you shortly,\" Wufei said.
\'You can hear me?\' Duo asked the healers, stopping his struggle.
\"Of course I can, of I would not be called the healer now would I, if I can\'t communicate with my patients,\" Wufei said with a smile which ensured Duo a bit.
\"Do you remember what happened?\" Wufei asked Duo who nodded no. \"You fainted at the dinning hall,\" Wufei said, \"You have a very strange condition in which I don\'t\' know how to describe, but for the fact that you are with child\" he told Duo.
\'With child! But that\'s impossible\' Duo said, \'I\'m a male\'
\"Exactly, that is what\'s so strange. I must report this to the prince at once\" Wufei said just to have Duo grab hold of his arm.
\'Please don\'t, don\'t tell my master, he would hate me. I don\'t him to know yet\' Duo pleased.
\"But it\'s my duty to. I can\'t lie to the royal family,\" Wufei said.
\'You don\'t have to lie, just doesn\'t say anything about this situation please. Help me just this time\' Duo begged. Wufei after a couple of moments finally gave in or his huoulwould split from all that gibbering.
When Wufei exited the bedroom. Heero was right by his side at once.
\"How is he Wufei?\" Heero asked.
\"He\'s just tired, he would be needing plenty of rest for now to a two seasons\" Wufei said. (Two seasons I made up, meaning almost like half a year).
\"What do you mean?\" Heero asked.
\"Duo is very weak physically. He couldn\'t do much stressful work. That\'s what caused him to collapse. I thought I would come and check on him every 2 moons. (this one is like in 2 weeks). So take it easy on the boy\" Wufei said with a smile.
Heero thanked the healer and proceeded in the room to see Duo.

A week and a half, Duo has been feeling much better and stronger. He has also been much happier until one day...

Heero stormed through the bedroom doors and searched for Duo. He found the boy sitting near his window braiding his long hair. Duo looked up and smiled when he saw his master approaching, but he didn\'t expect to be backhanded across the face.
Duo looked up at his master in shock. \"Where did you put Wing, my sword!\" Heero demanded.
Duo looked so confused and so frightened. While Heero getting no response, hit Duo yet again.
\"I will ask you only once,\" Heero said, but all Duo could do was hide his face from any other hits. Heero was getting quite impatient. With Quatre gone on a merchant trip, the only person Heero could think of that could communicate with the mute, Heero was getting agitated. No matter how much he loved Duo, stealing from him was out of the question and needs to be taught a lesson.
\"Guards!\" Heero commanded. Two guards rushed into his room. \"I want you to take this thief and punish him severely for his betrayal to the crown he serves\" Heero said pointing to Duo. And Duo without struggling was taken away.

Heero has not seen Duo for almost 3 moons (3 weeks) now and almost forgot about him until the healer asked about Duo and his where about. Heero blew up on him.
\"I don\'t want to hear that name again!\" Heero growled.
Another moon has passed and Heero couldn\'t stand it anymore, he asked the guards where they took Duo. They pointed to the furthest servant quarters almost abandoned. Heero hurried over. He slowly opened the door, but did not have the heart to look in. He stopped a servant along the way and told him to bring Duo to one of the family guest rooms and have him taken care of properly by the healer until Quatre and Trowa his friends come back from the errand his father had sent them on.
Another 2 moons passed by. Quatre and Trowa arrived as scheduled. Quatre had missed Duo very much so once they arrived to the castle, he ran off to find Duo so he could share the exciting story of his adventure, but he couldn\'t find Duo anywhere. The next person he searched for was Heero since Duo was always with the prince. Quatre found Heero in the library, but there was still no sign of Duo.
\"Heero! We are back, where\'s Duo? I wa-\" Quatre was cut off by Heero\'s glare.
\"He is not worthy of being my servant. I had him punished for stealing from me. I should have expected it when I caught him stealing food and other such\" Heero said.
\"Oh my...What did Duo steal from you?\" Quatre asked, Quite upset by this information.
\"He stole my sword and by now, it is probably being handed down in the markets!\" Heero stated. Instead of looking shocked, Quatre looked extremely upset.
\"Heero, Duo didn\'t steal wing\" Quatre said meekly, \"Your father told me and Trowa to take wing and have it polished for you.\"
\"So that means...\" Heero started, Quatre nodded his head.
\"You punished Duo for nothing he has done wrong,\" Quatre said.
\"But what about the bag of pearls, gold and diamonds I found in the room under the bed? Those certainly don\'t belong to me,\" Heero said.
\"You got it all wrong Heero. The pearls, Duo and me went to the ocean bank behind your castle. Duo painstakingly collected the pearls, in hope that he could make a necklace for you so that you may give it to your future wife\" Quatre said, \"As for the gold, Duo has saved all of the money you have given him to buy treats. He didn\'t spend a pennies gold on himself so that he could save up enough money to have a tailor make you a coat for the winter timut tut the diamonds, I don\'t\' know about\" Quatre finished.
\"Oh gods. I must go find Duo right away,\" Heero said as he headed off. He was almost down the hallway when a servant stopped Heero on the way and handed him a letter.
\"What is this\" the Prince demanded.
\"I just received a letter from an old man that was outside. He told me that it was urgent that you get it,\" The servant boy said.
\"Can\'t it wait!\" Heero demanded.
\"No, I don\'t\' think so, I think it deals with a boy named Duo, if I am not mistaken, that was the name of your private servant? No?\" this got Heero\'s full attention. He quickly ripped open the seal and took out old, yellow, crinkled sheets of parchment and started to read the lovely calligraphy on the paper.


To the one who owns Duo now,


I am sorry to have caused you any inconvenience with Duo. He is still young and needs to be taught. You shall be wondering who I am and what relations I have with Duo. I would answer all this in the letter.

My name is G, a wizard from the shin Kingdom. I created Duo in hopes that he would help me during the rest of my life, for I am too old to do even the simplest things myself.

I created Duo from the rarest lilacs and the earth. He is very weak physically, but strong mentally for I have enhanced his mind. I had made Duo unique in every way, but I sadly failed to create a voice for him.

Duo had run away from me a year ago from reasons that I have not understood until now. He did it to protect me, for there were bandits out to kill me in order to take Duo away. Since I am still alive, Duo would never loose the connection he has with me and obeys my every order. In order for Duo\'s full power to come out, I must be the last link killed off in the line since I created him.

I have kept Duo, my treasure safe and unknown to all, but I don\'t understand how they found out about Duo and his gifts he would grant to any person he is enslaved to.

I wrote to you prince Heero in a favor that you would take care of my Duo for me. He brings joy and pleasure to all those who meet him and I hope that he would be of good use to you.

I must tell you of one more thing. If Duo feels that he is no longer needed, he would disappear from this earth he was created from and I will be powerless to bring him back. Not even the greatest warlock or witch could imitate the creation I tool many, many seasonto ato achieve.

Heero quickly folded the parchment and placed them back into the seal.
“Come Quatre, I must see to Duo” He said.
“Yes, that we must” Quatre said as they went on their way. Heero practically ran to the guest room that Duo was placed in and threw open the doors.
The room was brightly lit by the sunlight flooding in and the windows were open allowing the spring breeze to flood in, but the room was empty.
Heero approached the bed slowly. The bed was neat and looked as if no one had slept on it.
“Where is he?” Heero demanded, but not one answered. Heero tore the sheets from the bed in anger just to see at the center of the bed was a large lilac flower and three beautiful tear shaped diamonds. Heero picked up the treasures and stored out of the room leaving Quatre in confusion and worried where Duo went.
Heero stopped the servant he remembered he told to place Duo in the guestroom.
“I told you to place my Duo in the guest bed room!” Heero growled at the servant.
“But, your majesty, that was exactly what I did. I placed him in the guestroom, right away after you told me to sire” the servant said.
“So where is he! He couldn’t just walk off like that!” Heero said.
“No your majesty, that is impossible, the guards, they had beat him to the point of death, to coma, he is too weak to have walked away much less tell when he would wake up again. That was what the healer had told me,” the servant said. Without further words, Heero’s next visit was with the healer.
