some difficulties giving Tyson birthday presents. What could possibly be so
hard about that?

people can be very annoyed at the OOC warning, but I’ll tell you that if I were

if you don’t like don’t read. And the only annoying about flames is that I hate

To say that Kais secretary weren’t a drama queen was a lie. She made a big business
of fainting over that Kai didn’t need to go on a trip right after Tyson’s
birthday this year. He sat glaring at the chair she had sat in recently waiting
for her to pick herself of the floor and continue looking over his schedule. He
was still in
which definitely was something new to Kai and especially after (insert date
here). But to faint were maybe a little too much. He had one of his offices
here and he had it scheduled to be his main office around this month for
He always saw to be ready with all important stuff
before that night for a quick withdrawal the day after but this year
surprisingly he could stay longer. After his secretary had re-seated he looked
over his schedule and saw that he would have more time over for something other
than work. Maybe he should try to see Tyson a little more this year. He and
Tyson often saw each other the days up to his birthday but after that it could
go months and Tyson always dialled his office the next day looking for Kai but
he had always left on his business trips like he called it and fleeing like the
personal named it. Hmm he should be more firm with them.
Maybe he and Tyson should go out play squash… nah it
was more for business partners. It should be a sport, were they had to be close
so he could use it as an excuse to grope him. Or even better molest him.
Although he didn’t really think there were sports like that. Dinner to a
restaurant?, Maybe taking hi to the park?
places were more for people already dating. He lost his trail of thought when
the phone rang.
-’Hiwatari’
-‘Hi Kai it’s Tyson.’
Kais heart did a volt and his breath quickened. This
were his chance but what to say what to say?
-‘Ty – Tyson hi what
makes you call this early, something’s wrong?’
-‘Early?’
Kai cast a glance at the clock and saw it were already
3PM ‘cringe’ good start Kai.
-‘Yeah well
were in the tournaments I just presumed it early for you.’
Good boy Kai just insult him
that’s always a good start.
-“’soft giggle’
what ever you say Kai and here I phoned concerned that you had smashed in
you’re head again.”
-‘I needed to
save a few brain cells according to the doctor so no more smashing’
-‘Doctor?
You okay Kai?
Kai cursed his lack of sounding humourless and
worrying Tyson.
-‘Yeah no
worries only tried to be funny.’
-“’more giggles’
I think you’ll have to work on that”
Kai could hear the smile on Tyson’s lips which made
the insult sound like an compliment instead.
-‘Yeah I’ll do
that. Something special you wanted Tyson?’
-‘Oh yeah I
almost forgot, you don’t have any spare time to come down to the river training
some kids with me today? Well your busy I can imagine I maybe shouldn’t have
asked but…’
-‘I have time. I
can come. What time?’
-‘You can.
happiness hahaha. Is 5PM okay for you?’
-‘No problems
I’ll be there then.’
-‘Thanks Kai
I’ll treat you to dinner afterwards see you then bye.’
-‘Yeah see you
then, bye,’
Kai smiled and hung up. He thought about spending the
afternoon with Tyson would be. Even if there were others it still were in
company of Tyson so he could endure. Wait… didn’t Tyson say dinner to… Kais
eyes grew larger he and Tyson were going to eat somewhere and what would he
wear and could he use that to seduce Tyson or something. (Is it just me or is this beginning to sound really corny…) He
nearly begun to hyperventilate but a giggling sound distracted him and that was
when he remembered that the secretary were still present.
She tried to soothe her giggling but just looking at
Kai made her start up again. He growled at her and saw her off. Nosy people
listening in on personal things; he really needed to be tougher on his
personnel soon.

At preciously 5PM he stood at the place he and Tyson
had meet the first time so many years ago. Thinking back at the prat he were
and the brat Tyson were just made him smile. This off course said person saw.
-‘Vow Kai. Could
you hold that look for a while so I could get a hold of a camera and take the
first picture of you smiling, which I then can use as black-mail?’
Cancel that last sentence… he were still a brat. But
alas that were what made him more alluring to Kai. *1*
-“Tyson, Tyson
still the little brat eh?”
-“Off course
Kai, without me who would teach you to crack jokes.”
-“No one would
dare to do that except you.”
-“See and you’re
life would just be so empty without me then.”
‘You have no
idea’
-“More like
peace and quite.”
Tyson’s pearly laughter filled the air and Kai felt
him self drawn if possible more to him. This time however Max were the one that
rescued him from making himself a fool.
-“Eh you two
love birds, are you going to just stand there and flirt or are you going to
help me with the kids? Nice to see ya
Kai.”
Kais cheeks threatened to turn red at Max’s words.
Tyson if possible laughed more and took Kais hand and dragged him over to the
dishes to train the kids.

Kai and Tyson sat at a cosy little restaurant eating,
trying hopefully to regain a little energy after the day’s events. Training a
bunch of kids weren’t the easiest Kai had learned today and it took a lot of
energy and definitely when the kids wanted to see him and Tyson fight. But
after damaging two dishes they called it quits. It was just so much flame and
storms these simple dishes could withstand.
-‘Ohh
that was one heck of a work out.’style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>
Tyson said gulfing down some random food; Kai couldn’t
really identify it before it disappeared in his mouth.
-‘Yeah who would think kids could be so exhausting.
Kai mused
-‘Even though we weren’t full
troop today so it were rather easy.’style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>
‘What there are usually more? And then it’s just you
and Max?’ Kai said with awe
-‘hehe’ Tyson sniggered
-‘Tyson’ Kai furrowed his brows
-‘Aww I couldn’t help
pulling you’re leg, we were many more today but that were because you were
there.’
-‘Well kids knows who’s
best.’ Kai said feling rather proud
-‘Nahh they just wanted to
see the dork who think he could beat me.’
Tyson winked and laughed at Kai when he started to
scowl.
-‘As I said… brat.’
-And you wouldn’t want me any other way.’ Tyson smiled
‘Oh I would like you over the table but that would be
a bad idea in a restaurant.’ Kai thought
-‘Kai you know you look scary when you smirk like
that.
Tyson started to laugh again
at Kai’s slightly rosy cheeks and they ate the rest of the meal with Tyson
teasing Kai, who in turn tried making Tyson stop choking on his food from all
the laughing.
