Questions About Danger

Kushami regained consciousness at the feeling of something cold pushing around within her abdomen. The ceiling she was staring up at was bright like a hospital, and she felt the heat of lights all around her. She knelt her head up to see her legs in stirrups and a strange looking man poking around between them.
“Oi!” She growled angrily, “What the Hell you doin’? I don’t remember signing up for a fucking pap smear!” She attempted to squirm away, but she seemed to be securely bound to the table, inhibiting most of her movements.
The man looked up from his work, and she noted that his unusual features were like that woman Enrou’s: Pink skin and sparkling white hair. His piecing blue eyes stared into her through his glasses. “Ah, awake are you?” He chuckled. “Don’t mind me. I’m just doing some last minute work before I alter you.”
“’Alter’ me? Who the fuck are you?”
“Suiitto. I believe you’ve already met my associate Enrou. You really are a package full of surprises, you know? Not only do you have that interesting little transformation linked with nasal stimulation, but upon studying your physical makeup, I discovered a hormonal imbalance, and found the most astonishing little package growing in your uterus.”
He grinned even wider. “Normally, since I’ve gotten your information and information on the average human, I would have just aborted it and went on with the altering process, buuut… I found this devil to have three eyes in the ultrasound! If this came from a steady mate, I would certainly like to see him. It seems to have gained several attributes from him that are not in your DNA. Well, I couldn’t just kill such a discovery, so I’m carefully extracting it vaginally, categorizing its DNA, then putting it in fetal incubation for the time being. So we’re letting your unborn son live; you should be pleased.”
The ‘good news’ only served to irritate the hissing woman even more. “Get your fucking instruments out of my cunt and release me, then I might not blow your fucking brains out when I get the chance!”
The scientist only laughed at her and continued his work. “I’m almost ready to begin extraction.” He pulled out the prodding metal utensil and replaced them with fresh, and cold, dilators. “The tissue should be soft enough for stretching. Can’t risk injuring your cervix; it’ll be pretty busy later. Luckily, we’re early enough to avoid cutting into you for safe extraction. Never did like resorting to cutting and sewing people up like clothing. Very unprofessional, I’ve always felt.” As he pressed up on her vaginal walls, Kushami jerked and shivered.
“I don’t care!” The blond groaned. “Just get me out of these bloody things! I don’t want a part of your fucking experiments!”
“Oh?” He pressed them both out against the walls again, having her arching her back from the feeling. “Are you sure? But I was planning on combining those two personalities of yours. Certainly they are a hassle, I would think. Your mate must find it cumbersome.”
When the pressure inside her released, her body fell the inch back to the table, and she looked back up at the bright ceiling. “…You can do that? You can make me normal?”
“Well, you’ll be Saiya-jin instead of Human, but since the only visible difference to the average Earthling will be your tail, you should be about as normal as any person you meet on the street.” He knelt back over extracted the metal rods and replaced them on the tray before inserting the tenaculum. The instrument, looking vaguely like scissors to her, pressed against her walls again, and her body shook violently.
She squeezed her eyes closed and muttered a name.
The scientist’s blue eyes looked up from his work to her. “Tenshinhan? Who is that? Your mate?”
“Just get on with it,” she said grudgingly.
“Hmm? ‘Get on with it’?” He extracted the forceptal apparatus and replaced them with a kind of clamp containing a metal ring (more of a short cylinder, only about 6 centimeters high) in its jaws. This object, being larger, made her clench her muscles and tremble even more than before. “So you’ll be a good girl and cooperate?”
Kushami swallowed and nodded. Suiitto grinned again and pulled out the clamp, leaving the ring behind in the canal. The tenaculum came back, quickly followed by the dilators, using said devices for expanding the ring.
“Ah! Ah! Damnit!” With each stretch, Kushami moaned and wriggled. “Oh god! How wide does the passage have to be? Ungh…”
He stood straight and wiped his gloved hands with a nearby towel. “There. That should be a sufficient size.” Suiitto then picked up a device that really frightened her: An oblong device that had blinking lights around it and emitted a low hum. He pressed a button on it, and the wider end of it opened like a weed might bloom, and within were several more small tubes and whirling utensils. It looked like something out of a Sci-Fi alien movie to her.
The button was released, and it closed again. “Don’t fret. Its design is specifically for the safe extraction of fetuses at this particular size and stage of development. There shouldn’t be much discomfort, and no harm will come to the fetus.” He inserted it slowly and deeply into her, and pressed the button again when it had reached the required distance.
The mechanism expanded and its inner components spun around and enlisted minor suction inside of her to collect embryonic fluids as the rest of the device worked to sever and reconnect the umbilical cord within itself. She arched again and her hands clenched hard enough to pierce herself with her nails, and she bit her lip in attempt to keep herself quiet.

Tenshinhan’s latest attempt to find Lunch turned up empty, and queasiness befell him as a thick cloud of dread fell over his mind. Something in him felt as though she was screaming for him, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that she was in some sort of danger.
-Tenshinhan!- He heard it in the back of his head, and his blood ran cold. No, he couldn’t be imagining it. He was too adept with telepathic techniques to put that aside as his stressed mind playing tricks on him; he recognized mental cries when he ‘heard’ them. But he couldn’t discern the location of its source… it seemed to just come out of nowhere.
“Damnit!” He exclaimed, his stoic image breaking for once, and he retreated from galleria (where he knew Kushami would often go to settle ‘transactions’, as she called them) before taking off into the air again, back towards the capsule house.
A few moments later, he was walking through the door. “Chouzu, did you hear anything? Telepathically, I mean?”
The little man looked up from the place he was sitting and hovered above it towards his friend. “Not telepathically, Ten-san… Did you?”
He nodded. “Yeah… I heard a voice, in the back of my head… it was Kushami calling for me.”
The white face grew worried. “Did she sound like she was in trouble?”
Tenshinhan was about to answer, but stopped himself, thinking back to the call. “It did… somewhat…” He realized it sounded more like when she was crying out his name in the bedroom than the few times she actually screamed for help. –Perhaps I was just imagining things. I mean, it has been a few days…- “Well, if it was her, it didn’t sound like she was in pain or panic, so that should be a relief.” –Shouldn’t it…?-
“Ten-san,” Chouzu spoke again, “I didn’t hear anything telepathically, but Bulma did call earlier.”
“Hmm? I take it she didn’t have any information on Lunch. Did she find Son and that cocky bastard Vegita?”
He shook his head. “She said that Chi-Chi is missing now.”
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Bulma resisted the urge to pound her head into the desk before her. First Goku and Vegita, then Lunch, and just now Gohan came with news that Chi-Chi was missing. Sure, the first two were periodically gone without a word’s notice, and Lunch wasn’t much different (and Tenshinhan was known to be overprotective, so his worry could have been disregarded), but Chi-Chi?
-It’s far beyond coincidence, now,- she thought, -There’s really no connection between these people except that they know each other, but Lunch hasn’t been close to the rest of the group for a long time, and I don’t know if she ever actually met Vegita.-
“Gah! All this is going to kill my genius brain with headaches and ruin my beauty with worry!” She rose and exited towards the sitting room. “Gohan-kun.”
The preteen looked up at Bulma. “Did you find anything out, Bulma-san?”
She shook her head. “There’s just nothing for me to work with. None of them have anything in common! As far as I know, there aren’t any major outbreaks of disappearances in the public, and looking through missing persons reports would be pointless; I can’t include every person in the world that disappears!”
“So you don’t know what to do?”
The woman growled and folded her arms, and then a light went across her face. “Perhaps there is…” She went into the next room, coming back with her son in her arms and her parents right behind her. “Gohan-kun, we’re all going over to Kame House. I’ll call Yamcha and Tenshinhan when we get there.”
“…Huh? But I don’t—”
“If the connection is that we know them, then if we gather everyone together and watch each other’s back…”
“…Then we’ll have a better chance of seeing what’s happening!”
“Correct! If they’re being kidnapped, then we’re bound to see the kidnapper; with so many martial artists, it would be hard to hide. And if it’s something with their behavior like Lunch, we’ll be more likely to see it.”
“But… isn’t Kame House too small for all of us? Wouldn’t here be fine? There’s plenty of room…”
“Unfortunately, Capsule Corp. is actually too big. If we stay here, we’ll still be interacting with people of the city and the employees of the corporation. At Kame House, it’s so small that there’s nowhere for a perpetrator to hide, especially with so many people. I know it will be a little crowded, Gohan-kun, but you just have to bear with it for a few days.”
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Juuhachigou cursed under her breath as she retreated from the island through the vast expanse of ocean that surrounded it. Yeah, so it was a little strange for people to be disappearing all of the sudden. But back at Kame House, she and Kuririn had absolutely no time alone. Everywhere they turned, there was one of the other fighters or someone from their family. And with night coming up, it only became more frustrating.
After getting so far away form the island, she was able to make out something floating out in the distance… something much too small to be a boat, but too big to be driftwood. The closer she came, the more apparent it was to her that she was looking at a couple of people, just standing on the water’s surface. She strained her mechanical ear to hear them.
“I told you that I didn’t need any help gathering the rest, Suiitto-san… so why are you here regardless?” The female said.
“Enrou-san,” he began, “I just came to tell you that I will be exploring some other planets for traces of Saiya-jin DNA. That’s all. It has nothing to do with your posting yourself outside of the target’s vicinity.”
Enrou huffed. “This target is only the android, anyway. If I have to wait any longer, I will just go to the next one in the list.”
“You didn’t tell me much more about your candidates other than the android and who you’ve already accumulated. Who is the next one?”
“Well, the acclaimed strongest man on this planet, the one whose strength is not all that comparable, actually has a strong daughter. Although she is young, and her eyes are blue, the rest of her attributes are very Saiyan-like. I suggest that you speed up her development and change her as well.”
“If she’s substantially stronger than the average Human, then I don’t see why you even bother waiting for the android.” He suddenly disappeared, and Juuhachigou heard a padding of water behind her before everything blanked out.
Suiitto pulled up the limp cyborg by her shirt so that she wouldn’t fall into the ocean and shrugged. “I suppose if she’s not any use, I can still have her as a side-project. Besides, I need to mess around with how the human body takes cybernetic implants anyway.”
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Chi-Chi and Juuhachigou regained consciousness about the same time and immediately came towards each other, both disoriented from waking up in an unusual place. The room wasn’t unpleasant; it looked like a normal sleeping room, like something one would expect from an average hotel. But the circumstance upset both of them.
“How did we get here?” The raven-haired woman said.
Juuhachigou shook her head. “I have no idea. Last thing I remember was hearing a couple of weird-looking people talking.”
“I think I was cooking dinner when Gohan came in…” Chi-Chi paused to think. “At least, I think it was Gohan that came in.”
“Did you see him?”
“No, I heard someone enter the room, and I knew it wasn’t Goku, so I assumed…” She trailed off when she saw a younger girl, about the same age as her son, curled up with her knees hugged up to her chest by a corner. “Oh my… who are you, little girl?”
The girl looked up at them with bright blue eyes. “Videl.”
“Videl?” Chi-Chi tilted her head. “Where are your parents?”
“My mom died a long time ago, and I don’t know where Dad is…” She reached up and pulled at her own black pigtails nervously. “Am I kidnapped?”
“I don’t know, dear.” Chi-Chi approached the girl and motioned Juuhachigou to follow. “Is there any reason that anyone would kidnap you? Did you talk to any strangers before you got here?”
She shook her head. “I was asleep and woke up here. My dad’s really popular and rich, so maybe they kidnapped me for ransom.”
“He’s popular? Who is he?”
Videl tugged at her hair again. “He’s the great champion Mr. Satan. I hope he comes soon and beats up whoever took me. Why are you here?”
“We don’t know either, honey. We might have all gotten kidnapped.”
Juuhachigou glowered. “But who would want to kidnap us the first place? I assume it’s the same people who took Goku and Vegita.”
Chi-Chi thought a moment. “You said that you heard them talking before you blanked out, right.”
“Yeah.”
“What were they saying?”
The cyborg knelt her head in thought. “One of them was talking about getting Saiya-jin DNA… and the other one was talking about waiting for a target… an android. She was waiting for me; I must have been her target. Then she was talking about getting a young girl that…” She looked over at Videl. “…matched her description. And she was talking about her having Saiyan-like qualities.”
Chi-Chi’s eyes widened. “DNA? Saiyan qualities? What is all that supposed to mean?”
