Behind that Son Smile

 

 

 

The next day Pan felt as if all her
energy was being sucked from her body she felt awful her insides felt raw. Pan
looked at her clock radio and remember the time she had promised Bra, Goten and
Ubuu to meet for lunch today she couldn’t cancel lunch date with them that had
been planed for three months so she got out of bed and took a shower she
dressed in a three quarter low rise beige skirt and a black halter top that
showed off her size thirty two C breasts she put on the minimal amount of make
up put her hair in a lose bun atop her head grabbed her purse and left. Pan was
meeting the guys at their favorite restaurant.

 

Pan spotted the crew and walked
over to them they were all stated at their table and she noticed to her dismay
Marron. Pan didn’t think she had enough energy to smile through this lunch and
pretend to be happy for Marron, then suddenly Pan felt a familiar thrill as she
felt Trunks ki Trunks made his apologizes for running late for lunch as he bent
down and kissed Marron mouth Pan spirit dropped another notch. Did they have to
do the public displays of affection Pan could feel the tears gathering in her
eyes as Trunks sat across from her smiling at something Marron said to him. All
of a sudden Pan felt stifled she had to leave but that would alert her uncle
and friends so she did the only thing that she could do she smiled that Son
smile as everyone around her ate and talked all seemed oblivious to her feelings
as she sat there no one noticed that she only played around with her food and
had not taken a bite.

 

As Trunks sat down he confirmed his
belief that he was overworked everyone was ok they all seemed happy no
problems, as he looked at Pan noticed how great she looked the day was warm and
she outfit fit it perfectly his Pan had grown into a fantastic woman trunks
smiled as he thought she would make a fine mate to someone one day

Pan saw Trunks looking at her but
pretended not to notice he looked like he was giving her away it took all of
her strength then and there to maintain her façade of happiness while she was
dying.

 

Goten watched his niece form that
corner of his eye, he noticed to things one Pan eyes were lacking their natural
fire it was as though the flames were being slowly being extinguished and two
her ki felt the same but somehow it was different the changes were so small he
would have never have known if he had been close to her since the day she was
born hell Goten would have been fooled be her smile if he wasn’t as adept to
hiding behind his as he was. He was not exactly sure what was bring these
changes in Pan but he knew Pan so he decided not to worry to much she’ll be
back to her old self in a week Goten thought as he ate and let go of his
concerns, only if he knew how wrong he would be.
