Chapter 4
Title: Unborn Love Part

Notes: I know that this FIC may not be to you guys liking but it was swimming at the top of my head for a While and I think I would go crazy if I don\'t write it down. I really hope you guys like it though. And yes I am aware of the mistakes and spelling errors in it.

~~3 weeks later ~~
Relena was not charged, the evidence that was collected was too minimal to hold against her in the court of law. The Preventers head quarters were enraged, even Zech\'s was not happy with the outcome. He had known his little sister was use to getting what she wanted. He would not end the investigation. He knew she pulled some strings and got off the hook. He ordered the junkyard to present the damaged car into preventers head quarters immediately. There are top mechanical agents working for preventers, Zech will bring Duo justice.
The three Preventers and one ex-husband/bodyguard have spent their time taking care of Duo who has been in coma ever since the accident. Quatre, Trowa, Wufei and Sally has long forgiven Heero for his mistake, they even invited him to join the preventers when the whole situation clears up. Heero agreed to the arrangement under one condition. Heero wanted to be the head in the investigation on Relena. This request was run through to Zech\'s who agreed that Heero would do an amazing job, especially if someone he so loves is at stake.
~~2 weeks later ~~
Heero was piled up high with paper work, but he was not going to give up, not on Duo ever again. This was his usual routine from now on. He was been with the preventers for only two weeks and he finds out that he enjoyed the job more then being husband and bodyguard to Relena Peacecraft. Heero looked at the small digital clock on his table. It was almost time to leave work and also time to go visit Duo at the hospital. Though it was harder and harder each day knowing that Duo was lying on the hospital bed because of him, he would swallow his guilt and stay with Duo no matter what.
Heero closed the vanilla file and set it next to the table lamp that Quatre had giving him as a welcome to the preventers gift which was right next to the coffee mug that Wufei had gotten him. The case was drawing to a close. Heero just needed a little bit more evidence to make sure that his facts are straight. The car was too damaged when it hit the lamppost to know what the cause was. Even though they knew she did it on purpose, their words can\'t hold anything against her.
Heero stood up and stretched. He looked around the office not surprised that he was the only one left. He ever since assigned to the case has given his heart to it. He will protect Duo. He won\'t give up. Heero took his coat that was hanging on his seat and put it on. Giving a huff, Heero walked out of the office, it was time to go visit Duo.
~~In the Hospital~~
\"Hello Mr. Yuy\" the nurse said with a smile. She has seen the young preventer visiting the patient always on the same time and always stayed until the hospital close. She gave pity to him, for the one he loved. She prayed for them everyday, but she keeps telling herself it takes time. She gave a small smile and walked around the corner, out of Heero\'s sight.
Heero rounded the corner and walked towards Duo\'s room. He noticed that the 2 guards weren\'t in sight. Then he noticed how quite the sector of the hospital wing was. He immediately became suspicious. He moved up against the wall and drew out his gun. Though the hospitals aren\'t allowed guns, the preventers have had special permission to carry them around for safety reasons.
Heero carefully slid along the wall until he reached Duo\'s room. The Door was slightly open a jar. Taking a deep breath, Heero kicked the door all the way open and aimed his gun at the person who was over Duo\'s bed with a knife ready to plunge into the coma patients heart.
