Chapter 3: People aren\'t as cold as they seem.





\" We better stick together, no sense for you getting lost in this place while I search for candles. \" Bryan spoke lightly. \" Just take my hand. \" Rei slid his hand down Bryan\'s arm, seeing he was un-able to see the other at all in the pitch black place, and when he found Bryan\'s hand he held it firmly. \" You know where to go ? \" Rei\'s voice firming, the shock of the blackout slowly leaving him. \" Of course, this isn\'t the first blizzard to ever knock out the abbey\'s power. Now come, we need some light source. \" Rei juqueequeezed Bryan\'s hand somewhat in notification that he was ready. Bryan thanked the darkness for concealing his blush, and so did Rei.

The flames of the candle\'s flickered and cast long foreboding shadows on the dreary walls. Bryan was trying to make something to eat while Rei just stared at the flames. Captivated by their movements. The dance the flame took was enticing. Rei began to lose himself into the flame, daydreams haunting his thoughts. ~ Two bodies moved together as one. A single candle providing light. Sweat coated the bodies, the experience was magical. The rythm un-comparable. The one on top cried out as his body went rigid and he thrusted once more. The other,on the bottom, soon followed, body arching, his seed spilling in between both. They layed together, panting. One as pale as the moon, the other with amber eyes. ~ Rei shook his head, blushing heavily. His pants tight, he had to put a pillow on his lap to hide the erection. This sudmovemovement caused Bryan to turn his attention to Rei, he rose ow \ow \" What\'s wrong with you ? \" Rei shook his head to shake traces of the dream away, voice small. \" N-nothing!.. Just..daydreaming. \" He lowered his head and held the plate that was offered to him. Just a simple sandwhich. He picked at his food somewhat then asked the one question that was plaguing his mind.

\" ...Bryan..? \" His voice wavered lightly. \" Bryan swallowed his mouthfull of food and leaned into his seat \" Hm? \" Rei took a bite of the sandwhich and chewed thoughtfully he then put the plate down, hesitating before he spoke \" Just why... did you invite me? Not that I don\'t appreciate it! No no.. I just...wanted to know. \" He fiddled with the hem of the sweater, averting his gaze from Bryan. ( Who is sitting infront of him on a comfy chair thing. O.o; ) Bryan thought for a moment and leaned foreward, hands clasped together against his chin. \" I don\'t apologize Rei.. \" Rei looked up, raising a brow in confusion. \" What... what do you mean ? \" Bryan continued, not any emotion hinting in his voice \" The Russian tournament, our match. You were hospitalized. As much as an apology is in r, Ir, I am un-able to say it. So Tala suggested I do something for you for your birthday in order to apologize for me.. So that is why I invited you. \" Rei blinked in surprise, he then tilted his head somewhat \" But..why can\'t you apologize..? \" Bryan shrugged leaning back once more, crossing his legs. \" I am un-able to. All emotions have been beat-- pushed out of me long ago, all except hate. I could just say the words \' I\'m sorry \' but there would be no meaning to it, and you\'d most likely think I was lying, and I am not a lyer Rei. This was the next best thing. I can\'t feel any emotion. \" Rei shook his head some \" You must try to.. You must, a person just can\'t live their life emotionless..it\'s not possible! \"

Bryan smirked in amusement \" And how do you propose I get my emotions back..hm? It\'s not possible. \" Rei shook his head again \" That\'s not true Bryan.. You could always learn..again. \" \" And who would teach me ? What fool would even try. \" Rei stared at him hard, voice firm. \" I would. \" Bryan was taken back by shock. He then lowered his head and stood, voice hard. \" You can\'t, it\'s not possible. \" He then turned away, back facing Rei. Pale lavender eyes widened as he felt warmth enveloping his hand. He looked down to see Rei\'s hands holding his own. Amber hues filled with emotion that Bryan never even knew the other had \" It is possible Bryan... all you need to do is let me in... Let me in Bryan...please just let me in. \" Bryan pulled his hand free and looked away \" Why..Why would you want to help me.. of all people. \" He felt Rei\'s soft fingers on his face, brushing hair free from his cheeks. He then felt amber hues melting into his own lavenders. \" Because I believe..and that\'s all I need. I believe there is some good in you.. And..I want to see it..I want to see you smile Bryan...that\'s all I want..\" Bryan opened his mouth to speak, but Rei shushed him with a gentle finger \" Because I care...that\'s why.. \" Rei leaned foreward, they were now eye to eye. Rei could feel Bryan\'s warm breath on his lips. Their noses touched and both lips parted, only an inch apart. Pink tickled their faces then Rei whispered with a wavering voice \" Let me in... \" Then with one silent moment and a lot of willpower on Bryan\'s part, he closed the distance and their lips touched. And for one perfect moment time stood still.. and they were drowned and enveloped in the emotion. For no words were needed..and that moment was theirs. They both wanted this for a long time, and their needs were finaly fulfilled. And already, the ice around Bryan\'s heart was begining to melt. He brought a hand up and held the back of Rei\'s head firmly. Rei linked his arms tight around the others neck, pressing his body needily into Bryan. And that triggered a moan from the paler one. He deepened the kiss, parting Rei\'s lips with his tongue. And both tongues imitatied the flame, flickerin and enticing both tongues danced together.. As one, as it should be.
