It was now late in the afternoon, Rei opened his eyes slowly. His eyes were greeted by Kai s crimson ones. Kai had a wide smile on his face so Rei decided to smile back.

" Good afternoon, Rei. Did you have a nice nap? I really must have worn you out," said Kai who was now grinning widely. He placed a gentle kiss upon Rei s soft lips and held him close to his own body so they could cuddle for a bit.

For the first time in Kai s life, he felt love and no matter what happened, him and Rei would stay together through the good and the bad. Their love and bond could never be broken; not by anything, or anyone.

" Kai," said Rei as he buried his face in to Kai's neck and sucked on it, leaving a small love bite.

" Yes, Rei, what is it? I’m not hugging you too tight, am I?" asked Kai slightly worried.

" No, you’re not, Kai. I was just thinking that perhaps we should tell the others that we’re engaged?" asked Rei. Kai let go of Rei and rolled on to his back. Kai always did all his thinking in bed lying on his back, and Rei loved to look at Kai while he was thinking, he looked so damned sexy doing it.

" I don’t think we should tell them Rei, not yet anyway. They weren’t to thrilled when they found out that we were sleeping together"

" Kai, that was ten months ago. They’ve come round to the fact that we’re lovers, since then. Besides, I think Max as a thing for Tyson; there was an odd sound coming from Tyson’s room that night when I went to the bathroom," said Rei.

" So you think that Tyson and Max are screwing each other? That’s a laugh! All Tyson does is eat and sleep…I didn’t even think he was capable of making love to anyone but himself" said Kai coldly.

" Kai, don’t be so cruel! They could be and you have no room to talk, you were crying your eyes out when I was making love to you and moaning that it hurt."

" I did not, I was moaning because you were going too slow in me and I like it fast and hard," said Kai. He folded his arms and closed his eyes he was in a bad mood, so Rei decided to leave Kai alone wile he was in a huff.

" I’m going for a walk," said Rei as he got out of bed and got dressed. Kai just grunted and went back to sleep, Rei left and went down by the bridge over the river.

Why does Kai after be so cold to me about talking about sex? I wish we could just talk about it sometimes, thought Rei. Rei had been to caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t even notice that he was no longer alone on the bridge. He felt something hit him and he fell to the floor unconscious.

" Well that was easy," said Ian

" Yes…too easy. Where's Tala and Spencer?" asked Bryan.

" They’ve gone after Tyson. They spotted him when we were following Rei. My guess is that they’re going to have some fun with him," said Ian, who had one foot on Rei’s back, like some kind of conqueror.

" We should get out of here, before some one sees us," said Bryan. They agreed, and quickly went off.


Tala and Spencer where in an ally way with Tyson and Max. Max was on the floor hiding behind Tyson.

"Well, well Spencer look what we’ve got here…Tyson the world champ and his little boy toy, Max," said Tala with a wide evil grin on his face.

" Tala, you leave Max out of this or I’ll-"

" You’ll what? Hit me? I don’t think so, Tyson. The only one who’s going to be handing out the beatings is me, you little piece of shit," said Tala kneeing Tyson in the stomach. He fell to the floor gasping for breath, Max let out a squeal and was knocked unconscious by Spencer.

" If you co-operate, I won’t hurt your pretty little boyfriend too badly" stated Tala, hot breath on Tyson s neck.

" Please! Just leave Max alone, ok? He had nothing to do with me defeating you in the world tournament! This is what it’s all about isn’t it?" said Tyson trying to get back up but being forced back down again by Spencer.

" Hey Tala, are you going to have some fun with Tyson? If not can I have some fun with him?" asked Spencer eagerly.

" You can have a go after I’ve finished with him," said Tala. Tyson’s eyes widened with fear. He knew what was going to happen to him…


It was now late in the evening. Kai had woken up and Rei wasn’t back yet. Kai couldn’t hear Max and Tyson either. Kai knew something wasn’t right. He looked at the clock. It was 6pm, this wasn’t like Rei, he was never this late from one of his walks, and where were Tyson and Max?

The phone rang. It was a call from the hospital, saying that Tyson and Max were in the hospital and Tyson was in a bad way. Kai had to find Rei, but Kai also had to do the right thing. He got dressed and headed off to the hospital. Tyson s grandpa was there. They had managed to called him at the place where he had been doing a Kendo display at a martial art exhibition.

" Kai, Max won’t tell the cops about what happened to Tyson. Could you try and get him to talk?" asked Tyson s Grandpa he was very distraught about what had happened, which Kai had no idea as of yet.

" I can try, Mr. Granger. I’m not exactly close to Max. "

" Kai, is Rei with you? Maybe he can…"

" I don’t know where he is. We- we had a little disagreement, I’ll try to get something out of Max that can help," said Kai.

He asked at the desk which room Max was in and then headed to the room and knocked the door. He walked in and gasped. Max was in a mess, his face was all bruised. Who could have done this?

" Max, what happened? How did you get all those bruises?" asked Kai. There was no reply.

" MAX, please talk to me," shouted Kai.

" It was Tala! He-," started Max, and he started to cry.

" Tala did this to you and Tyson? Max, tell me what happened and then I can help you," said Kai fists clenched.

" He wasn’t alone… Spencer was there. They knocked me out. I woke up and I saw what they did to Tyson. But I kept still, though and waited till they stopped. Kai, I was so scared I thought they were going to kill us! They raped him, Kai and I just lay there and watched and did nothing! I’m sorry," said Max. He burst into tears. Kai let Max cry on his shoulder, as anger boiled inside of him.

Max and Tyson were annoying, yes, but they were Kai’s friends and no one had the right to do what those bastards did to Tyson, no one! Kai wanted to go after Tala and wring his fucking neck.

" It’s ok, Max you did the right thing, they could of hurt you real bad. The good thing is you’re both still alive, and that means that they can get punished for what they did to you both. None of this is your fault, Max, don’t blame yourself " said Kai keeping his anger well hidden.

" Kai, is Rei with you? I’d like to talk to him please" asked Max.

" He’s not with me he went off after I had an argument with him."

" You should go look for him, Kai. He could be really upset and hurt."

" Are you sure you’re going to be ok does you Mom dad know you’re here?" Asked Kai.

" Yeah, they do. My mom’s on her way back to Japan, Kai…go find Rei and apologise."

" I will. Take care, Max."
