One step at a time
(Rei’s prov)
I awoke in a room no familiar to me and my eye stung as the light hit them. The room was white and it smelled like disinfectant. I was in hospital I had a bandage on my head and my are was in a sling some one else was the room but my eyesight was blurred and all I could see was yellow blob.
“ Rei your awake thank goodness how you feeling?”
“ Like I fell down a hole, Max where's Kai? Is he- ” I stopped talking afraid to ask afraid to get an answer I would not like.
“ He’s going to be ok he cam out or surgery an hour ago Tyson’s in there with him, Kai isn’t going to be happy when he wake up to see Tyson in there with him”
“ Max how did I get here how was me and Kai found?” I Asked I was curious on how they found us in that part of the woods.
“ Kenny’s bit beast tracker he upgrade it a bit lucky to any longer and Kai may not of pulled few, he lost a lot loodlood but the doctors said he’ll be ok, Rei is some thing going on between you and Kai?”
“ What make you think that Max?” I asked slight panic in my voice.
“ Nothing, just we found you where in Kei's arms, that’s all and I’m ok with it, if you and Kai are together. Rei you could be a good thing for him he’s been a bit down lately don’t you think?”
I blushed at Max’s comment I was please max was ok with it I hope Kenny and Tyson would be the same.
“ I need to see Kai and I want to be alone with him” I said in a serious tone. I had to see Kai, I had to fined out if what he said while we was down there was the truth and not some thing said few delusion I need to know he really did loved me.
“ Sure I’ll ask one of the nurse if it’s ok for you to get out of bed”
“ Thanks max” I said as he left the room I waited patently max came back with a wheelchair I just glared at him.
“ They said you could as long as you didn’t walk there you have a nasty head injury I certainly don’t want to pick you up off the floor Rei”
“ Very funny max, tack me to Kai and then leave the room I want to be alone with him” I said as max wheeled me to Kai’s room.
“ Sure Rei, want me to wait out side for you?”
“ No I’ll be fine when Tyson come out you tow go home and get some rest you look like you need it.” I said with a smile on my face.
“ How did you know about-”
“ I guessed it was you any way I’ll see you tomorrow” I said as I wheeled my elf in to Kai’s room. Tyson walked out the room so now me and Kai where aloud.
Kai was sleeping I smiled, he looked so sexy with out thou markings on his face he stird slightly and hissed with pain I sore his eyes open and gazed in to mine I smiled at him and he smiled at me weakly.
“ Kai theirs some thing I need to know it’s impotent” I said nervously.
(Normal prov)
The room was silent Kai closed his eyes, he know what Rei was going to say and answered first.
“ If this is about what I said in the mine shaft, then it was the truth Rei. I do love you and I hope you meant it to Rei, because I don’t think I can bear it if you don’t. Not after what I tolled you” said Kai as he gazed in to my eyes he looked like he was going to cry. Rei gust closed his eyes, smiled a put a hand on Kai’s he flinched and Rei look at Kai with worry.
“ I meant what I said to Kai, I love you with all my hart and soul and I want us to be together.” Rei pursed for a second and continued. “I want to be you lover that’s if you want me to be, we can tack things slowly Kai. One small step at a time and try not to rush things, I don’t want to hurt you Kai and I don’t want to see you in pain any more let the past go because I have let mine go” said Rei as a tear fell from his eye. Kai just stared at Rei with amazement and was deeply touched by Rei’s words.
“ Of course Rei I want you to be my lover I never want to be with any one els all I want is you and only you Rei all ways.”
“ Kai.”
