Pain and torment
Next time he would kill Kai if he could.
Tyson opened his eyes, reddened from crying as he looked at Rei who had sat there, trying to comfort him.
Rei wasn’t quite sure why he did what he did then but he did it. He placed a clawed hand on Tyson’s face, carefully wiping away the tears, and leaned down until he felt his lips come in contact with Tyson’s soft ones.
It was like time stayed still, Tyson\'s eyes got big when it clicked what was happening. Tyson pushed Rei off him and backed up. Rei made a low meow as he hit the floor; he looked up just to see Tyson walk out of the room.
Rei felt his heart break into pieces. He hadn’t felt this bad since when he had almost killed Count D’s friend, Leon. Tears started to fall down his face as he curled up in a ball.
Tyson leaned on his bedroom door and sat on the floor. What the hell was that?! Okay, he was just kissed by his PET! But... why.... did he like it? \'That’s sick!\' Tyson yelled in his head.
\'First Kai comes back, and now this\' Tyson thought as he ran his hand though his hair. \'I can\'t feel for my pet!\'
“Keep it there little man!” Daichi put the ice pack back on his face as he tipped the chair back he was sitting in.
“But this is boring grandpa,” Daichi whined as he sat there.
“Then go tell Hiro it’s his turn to do the dishes,” the old man shooed Daichi off and the redheaded teen went off at a run.
He peeked inside Hiro’s room only to find he wasn’t there so he decided to search. He heard soft meowing from Tyson’s room however and decided to investigate.
Slowly he peeked in there and saw something curled up. He figured it was just Tyson’s cat until the ‘cat’ peered up and looked at him.
Daichi blinked as he looked at the boy curled up in Tyson\'s room. \" Who the hell are you?\" Daichi asked. He was not sure what was going on. But the boy had better have a good reason on to why he was in there.
Rei looked up at Daichi, forgetting he was in his human form, Rei stood up. It was good to his friend’s face. He walked over to Daichi and then jumped him. Daichi didn\'t have time to do anything as this boy jumped on him and started licking his face.
Tyson walked around the park still thinking, but unknown to him something, or some one, was following him. Tyson stopped and sighed and he looked to the sky, as a few tears fell from his face. This is where he and Kai first met, back when Kai was nice to him. Tyson turned around and came face to face with his nightmare.
Kai growled at Tyson, making him back up a bit.
Tyson gasped as he shook. It was Kai, Kai was right there in front of him. “Get out of my way before I put you where wastes of flesh like you belong. Ten feet under.”
Tyson clenched his fists as he stood there, the tears falling down his face. “Please no Kai.”
“You are so pathetic. Get out of my way and go crying back to those wimps you call friends. None of you are worth my time.”
“Please, please don’t say things like that. Why are you doing this?”
Tyson felt the fist that hit his jaw. He stumbled back and clutched at his stomach as the punch landed on his stomach. He groaned as he stumbled back and hit the ground, the tears falling from his eyes.
\"I told you, I\'d kill you even if you left me.\"
Daichi pushed the teenage off him as he laughed. He caught sight of the gold eyes and recognition struck him.
“Rei?”
Rei purred as he wrestled with Daichi, rolling on the floor. Right then was when Max burst in the room. He was panting as he stared at Rei in his human form.
“Rei, you’re not supposed, I mean, Daichi… Tyson,” Max stuttered.
Daichi looked up at Max confused by his stuttering. “Nevermind! Kai found Tyson!”
“What?” Daichi was out the door with Rei following him.
“Wait!” Max yelled as he grabbed the necklace and caught up to them, slipping it over Rei’s head. He instantly turned into the tiger cub and jumped into Daichi’s arms as the shorter blader followed on Max’s heels.
However when they arrived at the location Max feared they had arrived too late as they saw Kai standing there, hovering over Tyson who was curled in a fetal position.
Rei ran over and licked Tyson’s face, his small pink tongue darting out as he meowed softly.
“How sweet, your pathetic posse is here to save you,” Kai gave a sickening smirk as he turned to regard Max and Daichi. It would be an understatement to say Daichi was furious.
His anger burned hotter than anything as he saw Tyson on the ground and he remembered all the time they had been together. Sure they acted like they couldn’t stand each other but that meant nothing compared to the bond they shared.
“Kai!” Max yelled as he stood there. “You’re going to pay for this!”
Tyson could hear the yells and he winced inwardly at the pain he was feeling as Rei nuzzled against him. His body hurt so badly. He wasn’t aware of the ending of the fight, only that Max helped him up and the tears burst out again but this time from the pain.
Max picked him up and Daichi tried to take Rei to make it easier but Tyson clung tightly to him.
Daichi gave a helpless shrug as he followed Max down the road.
