"Tonight, we take her down," Heero informed. "It is the Emperor\'s Royal Ball that made her decide to strike tonight."
"We get to go to a ball!" Duo said happily. "You know we have to make ourselves fit in with the crowd."
"Do you have anything to wear, Duo?" Heero asked. "We have to fit in, like a couple, so to speak."
"Why can\'t we just go as normal people? We don\'t have to go as a couple, we can go as friends," Duo suggested.
"Duo, we have to fit in with the crowd, we can\'t stand out, and you know that," Heero informed. "Plus, you look beautiful when you let your hair down."
"What did you say?" Duo asked.
Heero instantly swore at himself in his mind. He almost gave away his secret! "Nothing, you said you need to find your dress."
"I\'ll have to get my hair done, and I have to find a dress shop," Duo informed. He smiled at Heero.
"In that case," Heero stated, "I need to get a tuxedo. With the ball starting at 19:00, we only have nine hours."
"I need to call a cab," Duo said, unbraiding his hair.
"We\'ll meet back here at 15:00, to get ready to go," Heero suggested.
"Heero," Duo said, running a brush through his hair, "I will see you later." Duo got up and walked out the door.
Heero got off the bed and headed toward the door.
