Chapter
four;
Trowa stood
outside their fifth’s closed bedroom door. It was locked, he had checked. But
he was worried, the young boy hadn’t taken one single step outside his
sanctuary since he had run to hide his tears earlier.
He hadn’t
eaten anything either.
And that
had really started to worry him.
A sigh left
his lips as he lifted a hand to knock at his friend’s door.
At least he
hoped that he was still considered a friend.
“Wufei?”
No answer.
“Wufei,
please.”
“Go away
Barton.”
“No,” He said
a little uncertain. “You have to eat.”
“I’m not
hungry. I eat when I feel like it.”
Trowa
didn’t know what to say, he was afraid that if he said the wrong thing, used
the wrong words, that the young Chinese on the other side would really grow to
hate him.
He was just
about to open his mouth to say something when he heard silent footsteps come up
behind him.
“Wufei?”
The young blond said gently. “I brought you some food,”
“I’m still
not hungry.”
“But you
have to eat!” Quatre exclaimed,
Trowa laid
a hand on his shoulder.
“Wufei,
please. We worry about you...”
“How kindly
of you.” The boy spat back before he jerked the door open. “I don’t remember
ever asking for your concern!” He looked down at the tray Quatre held, grabbed
it roughly out of his hands and kicked the door shut right in front of their
faces.
“Well, at
least he’s eating.” Duo muttered from the top of the stairs.
“You do
realize that this is all your fault?” Trowa muttered before he brushed past him
and walked down the stairs to get himself something to eat.

“Hey, Kat,”
Duo said downstairs as they sat down by
the kitchen table. “Did you know about this too?”
The blond
boy looked dumbfounded.
“No he
didn’t, unless Chang tolk him.” Heero cut in. “Now will you forget about the
whole situation?”
“How can
you say that?!” Duo rose from his seat. “How can you be sooooo sure that he
isn’t writing-”
“Maxwell!”
Heero warned.
“He’s
“He’s
Heero would never use those words. “But you need to apologize to him.”
“For
what?!”
“You tool
HIS diary!” The blond said as he too rose. “And then you let Trowa take the
blame! And now you’re acting like you’ve done nothing wrong!” And with that
said he rushed out of the room.
“Well I
haven’t!” Duo yelled after him, even though he more than understood that he had
broken an unwritten law.

Wufei’s
mind screamed. Why had he ripped the pages out?! Why hadn’t he been able to
control his anger?
He needed
that book damn it!
He sighed
as he pushed the almost full plate away. He really wasn’t that hungry anymore.

He picked
up the thorn pages and tossed them out the window.

He sank to
the floor as the wind caught his diary’s pages.
