Chapter 4
Chapter 4
After the morning's "activities" in Roy's office, Ed immediately headed for the library to meet Al, who gave him a suspicious look. Well, as suspicious a look as a suit of armor could give, at any rate.
"So, how'd it go at the Colonel's office, Brother?" he asked and fought back a frustrated groan at Ed's shrug. His brother could be so frustrating sometimes!
"Did you find anything?" Ed asked to change the subject. He wasn't about to explain why he suddenly seemed so...relaxed.
He doesn't need to know that I spent most of the time at headquarters being fucked by the Colonel...
Fucked...that was the best word to describe what they did. Making love was what they did whenever he showed up at the Colonel's house(whether invited or not), and they could take their time. When they had sex in Roy's bed, they could take as much time as they wanted. It was never rushed and he never had to worry about how much noise he was making. He wasn't sure which way he liked the best.
Maybe it's situational...when I'm in the Colonel's office, I like it fast, hard, and rough, and when I'm at his house, slower and more gentle. Either way, he really knows how to make it feel good.
When he felt the heat rising in his cheeks, he had to hide behind the book he was looking at to keep Al from seeing him blush.
He'd ask why I'm blushing, and I'd have to lie, and he wouldn't believe it, and...oy. It would be too much of a pain in the ass to deal with right now.
With that thought, he went back to reading, jotting a few notes that he hoped would come in handy at some point. He'd figured that the ideas that weren't connecting with each other for the time being were ones where he just hadn't found something to connect them.
All we can do is keep going. Maybe I'll drop by the Colonel's tonight. I'm not sure how, but he relaxes me and I can look at things with a cleared mind. Gah! I am not falling for that bastard!
"Brother...?" he heard Al asking. Looking up, he noticed the younger boy looking at him.
Crap...
"I-I'm fine, Al," he stammered before burying himself in his research, a sure sign that he didn't want to talk about it. He didn't even know how Al would react if he found out that he'd been having sex with the Colonel.
That evening found Ed walking through the streets of East City, heading for the Colonel's house. The excuse he'd given Al was that he was going for a walk. It was believable enough, since Ed sometimes spent the night wandering around, thinking. He, soon, found himself standing on Roy's doorstep. Knocking on the door, he waited for an answer, which came moments later.
"Fullmetal?" Roy asked as he looked down at the shorter alchemist, who was glaring up at him.

A/N: Technically, I probably could've stopped on the last chapter, but the fic's been gnawing on my brain, lately, so I wrote more on it. ^^;
