Vegeta’s POV
I can’t wait anymore. I want him now. My restless thoughts of my love have been driving me to the brink of my sanity, of how warm he is, how he smells…how he tastes. He’s my little addiction. Though its been 7 years. Seven years and I haven’t been able to get back my little addiction. So we’re attacking tonight, at midnight. When all of the helpless Lights are dead asleep. We have been attacking before midnight, but if we keep changing our tactics, they’ll be confused and thrown off. Unsuspecting. It’s almost getting to where we’re attacking every night. I need him. So bad. Soon. If I don’t get my love soon, I’m sure I’ll go mad.
Though, those worthless Lights haven’t been too easy to get through lately. After all, they’re starting to become an endangered species. Surely, everyday, they’re thinking on how to make their defenses and offenses more difficult to get through. It must be Bardock. I hate to say it but, Kakarot isn’t exactly that intelligent to give us this hard of a time. Making us change our tactics constantly. Maybe I should kill Bardock. No. That would make my love sad. The last thing I want to see is tears in his eyes. In those precious, innocent eyes. Sorrow does not belong in them. All of a sudden, I’m starting to think that this is all hopeless. I feel that the only way to get him, is to bring my love sadness.
A knock on the door, to my room, breaks me from my musings. “Enter.” I answer.
Haru walks in calmly. “My King, it’s almost time. Shall I prepare our warriors?”
I stare at my loyal guard as I take in his suggestion, then stand up to look and see what time it is. It’s 11:30 “Alright. We’ll take as many as we can. I want those Lights outnumbered to a thousand. Then maybe, they’ll see how hopeless it is and give up.” I say all this with my back facing him.
“Yes, my King.” Haru bows and leaves quickly.
As I said my words, I felt more confident in retrieving my love. I had a strong feeling that I will have him…tonight.

We Shadows don’t fly to our kill, we run to it. That way, we blend in more in the darkness. Darkness. So terrifying and lonely to others, but to me, it’s like a haven. It can almost be considered as a friend. It protects me from the sight of others and yet, I feel like I’ve known it all my life. I wonder if my love will feel the same about it. If not, he’ll at least be accustomed to it.
As we near our destination, I halt my army to give out orders. “Alright! The group in front shall take flight from here and distract the ones looking to the skies! The group on the right shall power up and move on ahead of the rest and scatter to create a panic! Those of you on the left will sneak up from behind their lands and attack on the unsuspecting! And the rest of you, stay with me.” I waited as I let half of my army carry out their orders.
This time, I’ll let the first group tire out the Light warriors and then, the rest of us will come in and finish them off. Their power levels will be a distraction. We’ll finish off every one until it’s just him that’s left. No one to protect him, no where to go. Then he’s mine. Pity that we’ll have to wait an hour. Uh. I hate waiting. I want him now. Now, now, NOW! I want him weak in my cold arms, bleeding the last of his beautiful, warm, golden blood as I drink him dry. I almost want him begging for his life. Though that’s what I want all of my victims to do, but for Kakarot, I want him to want it. I want him to surrender to the darkness, to accept it…to accept me, my love for him. Soon, that time will come. Soon.

Strange. I thought it would take an hour to go by ‘til the Lights got tired. Unfortunately, it’s only been 20 minutes, and already my warriors are coming back.
The group that I sent out to scatter and cause a panic came to stop right in front of me. The group leader…Siru I believe his name is, steps up to tell me this change in battle strategy. “My King…” he hesitates. I can already tell this is bad news. “Th-there is no Light in sight. We couldn’t even detect one. We looked, we sensed, but they were no where to be found.” He kneels. “I’m truly sorry, my King.”
I answer his bow with a frustrated glare. “They’re gone?! Where the fuck are they?!” Damn it!! I want him! I want him! Could this be one of their plans? Could they be hiding? I suddenly became paranoid and started looking around me. Could they be watching us right now?!
I turned back to the group leader, who was still kneeling on the red desert ground, “Where are the rest of my men?”
He looked up, “I thought it would’ve been a good idea for the rest of them to stay there to see if anything changed.” he suddenly became nervous, and he should be.
“Tell me, was that decision yours to make?” I asked him calmly. I love putting fear in them. Doesn’t matter if they’re my men or not.
He looked back down, “No. I guess not. I’m sorry my King.”
“Hn.” I didn’t want to waste my time scolding my warriors. I have to figure out what the hell is happening!
Shit!! Now they have the upper hand! What plan could they have possibly thought of to mess us up this much?! Okay, think. Where could they possibly be hiding at? Damn I’m thirsty. My army is thirsty and we have no food to prey upon. Shit. They’ve really planned this. The more thirsty we get, the weaker we become.
I turned to the rest of my men. “Alright! Those damn Lights have obviously been planning ahead! You!” I pointed to the group with the still kneeling idiot. “Tell the other two groups to search around the area! Search everywhere! Look for any passage ways or anything remotely similar that looks like a good place to hide! Keep all your senses open and power levels down! Notify me the second you find them! Hurry! Sunrise isn’t waiting!”
The idiot kneeling finally stood up and quickly went the same direction he came from, group following close behind. Then, a thought just occurred to me. I turned to the group behind me. “Half of you, go back to our hideout and protect it! Make sure none of the Lights try and get to the rest of their comrades that are being held as prisoners! A few of you come back and tell me if anything is happening, if not, don’t bother! Hurry and be discrete about it!” Half the group quickly flew back.
Damn it. Knowing my luck, that’s probably what their plan is. There’s about a hundred prisoners being kept in the underground hideout. Hopefully though, they won’t know where the hideout is. They probably do. Those wretched beings managed to find our previous hideouts in the past 5 years. What pisses me off more than anything is how they fucking found them in the first place!
“My King, what shall we do now?” Haru asks me. Trying to hide the panic in his voice.
I looked at him. “The rest of us…shall wait.”
Haru seemed a little more calm, but impatient that we’ll have to wait. I don’t blame him. “Yes, my King.”
I smirked slightly. He’s so loyal, it makes me sick. It’s so obvious that he’s in love with me. I’m sorry my loyal pet. My cold, dead heart has been taken by another. Another who’s heart is warm and alive. I’m suddenly having doubts about turning my love into a Shadow again. That’s what I love about him. Is his liveliness. But I absolutely refuse to become a Light. Those…damn Lights. Those beings that mock the very…life…that I live. So what’s more important? Keeping my love the way he is? Or turning him into a souless creature that craves nothing but blood and dominance…forever? Hm. I guess keeping him the way he is is the more obvious answer. But I want him. I want him to belong to me. Though, an untamed Kakarot does sound very erotic, but I also care about that warmness that he possesses. Something that I can never possess. Unless I allow it. Of course, that’ll never happen.
“My King!” I turned to see one of my men come flying in with a panicked expression on his face. Shit. “My King!” he said again as he landed in front of me. “They’re there! All of them! They found our hideout and are trying to free their comrades!”
I knew it. I fucking knew it! “Were you the only one who was able to come and tell me this news?” he nodded. “Shit! Then there’s no time to lose! Hurry! Go and tell the others back at the Lights’ hideout to come and fight! Tell one of the groups to stay where they are!” I pointed towards the direction he should go and he took off without a second thought.
“My King, are we going to fight?!” That was Haru, panic-stricken.
I turned to face him, “Of course we are! Why?! Do you suggest that we just sit here while their army keeps growing?!”
“But sire, there’s only a small number of us! We won’t make it! We’ll be outnumbered!” Hn. Coward.
“I am aware of that Haru! We can at least distract them long enough until the rest of us get there! Now lets go!” I take off towards the direction of our hideout, my men close behind. Haru right beside me. I smirked maliciously. I’m coming my love. I’m coming for you and you can’t hide from me. I’ll have you. Tonight. Soon.

Oh no’s! Is that a cliff hanger? I’ve been trying my best to avoid those, but I couldn’t see a way around it. My, ain’t this a twist for our Dark Prince? I wonder what’ll happen when he gets there? Ooooh the suspense! Don’t worry, I shall update soon. If I don’t, then you all can find me, chop my limbs off, and beat me with them. But then, who will update? :3 I'm sorry that this chapter's so short, but I want to hurry up and get on with Kakarot's POV. Uh oh's! You have an idea of what the next chapter might be! Ack!
