Chapter 4

“Your welcome,” Heero said to Matsu, then he walked over to his own drawers and opened them and pulled out a pair of dark green fleece pajama pants. “Here you can barrow mine,” he told Duo who walked over and took the pants he pulled them on. Heero also gave Duo one of his black tank tops.

It felt so much better to be in nice clean clothes Duo thought, “thank you,” he said to Heero with a bit of a bow once they were all dressed.

“Of course do not mention it I am glad to help you out,” Heero told the pretty chestnut haired boy. “Anyways I am sure you all are hungry we got you some breakfast, as I said I would like to speak with you alone at least on the balcony if that is alright Duo?” Heero wondered hopefully.

“Yeah sure that is cool,” Duo said to Heero, he then led the three of them to the living room again, so they could all get something to eat.

Heero and Duo then went out onto the balcony, Duo had taken two donuts and a coffee, Heero had done likewise, also he had snagged a brush and a comb. Heero watched as Duo practically started to in hail his donut the moment they sat down at the little tea table outside. It had dried off from the warm sun that had risen now it had been two hours since sun rise. “Whoa slow down, or you’ll make yourself sick,” Heero told Duo but the first donut was already long gone this one happened to be the cream filled one, there was a bit of cream on Duo’s lip.

“Well, sorry” Duo said and then watched as Heero reached his hand across the table and swiped the cream from his lip, it appeared he made this move without even thinking, Duo’s eyes went crossed as his finger touched his lips to clean off the cream. “So um, why did you still wanna be alone with me or whatever?” Duo wondered now that both his donuts were gone he licked his lips this time hoping to get any cream there could be. He even used the back of his hand to make sure. He picked up his coffee cup and took a sip as well he had come to find he loved a lot of cream and sugar in his he couldn’t drink it black like Heero.

“Well, when I invited you to coffee, this morning, I had really meant I wanted to hang out with you alone, to get to know you and become your friend.” Heero answered Duo after he had swallowed his mouthful of coffee. Then he took another swig the warm drink was starting to make his brain work a tad better.

“Oh I see, cool” Duo said, “I never had any guy friends before really maybe like a few when I was really young but clearly none good enough,” Duo chuckled a bit though nothing was really funny, he kind of just did this from nervous habit. “Why do you want to be my friend so much for, I mean I don’t deserve any of your kindness.” Duo sighed and leaned on his hand looking down at the table.

“I want to become your friend, because I feel it’s the right thing to do, perhaps you are a missing part of my life that has finally been completed. I don’t know I just guess even if you were trying to hurt me, I just felt there was a bigger picture to all of this, I wasn’t going to just let this slip away I just couldn’t. I really can’t explain it,” Heero answered Duo and watched him push a silky lock behind his ear he looked so beautiful he didn’t seem to fit into this world Heero thought. I guess I am trying to show you that not everyone in this world, are cold ruthless liars that you can’t count on. I don’t know why you four have come to be on the streets, I mean to help you I suppose all I ask for in return is you respect me and perhaps if you want be my friend too.” Heero shrugged then picked up his coffee again and took another drink.

“Well, I suppose we shall see about all of that, just let it flow man, it will all fall into place you’ll see.” Duo told Heero. “You can’t really force this kind of stuff, I will do my best to be your friend as well, I mean I know that I owe you a lot so far for what you have done.”

“As I said you don’t owe me anything,” Heero began.

“That right there is just one thing, for me that is hard to believe, I mean how can you not want anything in return?” Duo wondered amazed by this.

“It would be foolishness to tell you I want to help you, knowing you have no way to pay me back, then except you to repay me. I don’t play those kinds of games, I have no need to play that kind of a game. In fact there is no game, no strings attached either I mean you are free to go whenever you wish, though I’d feel better if you all stayed here off the streets, especially with the little girl.”

“Yeah, I would really rather keep her off the streets as much as possible as well, I mean we can’t just stay here there isn’t enough room you know, what about your boyfriend have you even talked it over with him?” Duo wondered, “of course I’ll get a job then and help you pay for the rent if that helps any?”

“So um why are you all out on the streets to began with?” Heero wondered, “If you don’t mind me asking, though I think it’s a fair question as well since I am helping you out.” Heero picked up his coffee cup and finished his drink.

“No don’t worry about it, you see Matsu and I had a horrible step father, that abused as and used us sexually. He was very rich, so was my step father’s friend who is Lunamaria and Lacus’s father. Heero felt so angry hearing all of this, it made him sick to his stomach as well he clinched his fist around his coffee cup, and crushed the Styrofoam it was empty of its contents, Heero didn’t even care. “That is all so horrible, I don’t even know what to say to that, my emotions on this are very angry beyond so,” Heero told Duo and growled a bit. “I wish I could find those fuckers and make them suffer.” The blue eye young man concluded.

Duo could tell this had really angered Heero this news, he never saw anyone with such a look of compassion and honest rage for the wrongs that had happened in his life. “Well, I thank you again for your support on that, now you can understand why I am protective of the girls.” Duo told Heero who could tell that Duo could careless about what happened to himself so long as the girls were taken care of he kept glancing back into the living room to keep an eye on them.

Heero then picked up the comb and brush “you mind if I brush your hair, out for you?” Heero didn’t care if it seemed odd to Duo. Heero just had to touch those beautiful tresses.

“Um well sure I guess, just so you know, though I don’t like people pulling my hair, I didn’t retaliate the last time because I was kind of in the wrong then.” Duo said as Heero stood up and came behind Duo and pulled his long hair over the back of the chair making sure to brush his finger tips lightly over Duo’s neck. As he watched the locks of hair poor out of his hands to drape over the chair.

“Well I see, then” Heero started to run the teeth of the comb through Duo’s hair it seemed to be very knotted in places, “You have large rats in your hair,” Heero said helpfully “Don’t worry I will get them out for you.” Duo found that Heero had a very firm hand, when it came to brushing his hair but he was able to work out every single knot. Heero thought Duo’s hair seemed to shine even more beautiful now that all the knots and tangles were free of it. Heero set the comb down he started to run his fingers through Duo’s hair.

Duo opened one eye, “I have never thought about that before, but sure I could be more useful that way,” Duo nodded then he felt Heero separate his hair into three sections, and weave his beautiful chestnut locks together.

As Heero did this, Duo’s neck and shoulder were reviled, they were very succulent looking, he felt himself fantasying about kissing Duo on his neck and shoulders. Heero was damn enchanting Duo thought, as he found himself pressing his hand into Heero’s hand like a cat being petted or something.”I have to admit, I am not gay but, you sure do make me second guess myself.” Duo said once Heero was finally done fussing with his hair and Duo was about ready to sleep. Duo was also one who wasn’t afraid to express how he was feeling even when it came to these kinds of things. He felt more completed to tell Heero this since he just did something semi personal with him.

“Oh really?” Heero wondered and then pulled the soft three foot braid around to Duo’s chest and let it lay on his lap, and he stroked it a bit as he sat against the table in front of Duo so he could look him over. “I suppose that is a pretty big deal, since you have that beautiful girlfriend inside an all.” Heero said and it seemed Heero couldn’t stop touching Duo’s braid, Duo found himself not seeming to mind either.

Duo looked down at the weave it did look very nice, “Well this is much cooler that is for sure, I don’t think I have ever felt breeze on my neck and shoulders before,” Duo chuckled a bit as Heero brought his hand up next to Duo’s mouth where his braid was. Duo put his hand on Heero’s to keep it there he moved his head it seemed his body was acting for him he pressed a kiss to Heero ‘s palm which sent hot tingles all over Heero’s body. “Yes it is a big deal,” Duo’s purple eyes sparkle up into Heero’s blue eyes who seemed to be holding the same want as Heero’s.

He was brought back to earth. “Hmn yeah your right I am so sorry,” Heero said standing up. “Well I think I am going to go take a cold shower now.” Heero shook his head without another word he went into the house again, luckily Quatre wasn’t even in the room and Luna was sleeping. Matsu was watching TV on the floor with Lacus.

“Hey,” Matsu smiled at Heero when he entered back into the room she was laying on her stomach with her ankles crossed in the air looking very cute. Lacus was sitting on her back she had put Matus’s hair in little braids humming to herself. “You two have a nice coffee?” Matsu wondered happily.

Heero stopped when she greeted him, Duo fallowed after Heero not really keen to just be left on the balcony alone. Her breasts were nearly spilling out of the of the shirt and she looked beautiful. “Yes we did thank you, I am going to take a shower now though if you guys want any food or drink please help yourselves but don’t eat to fast so you don’t get sick.” Heero felt he needed to add that part in for some reason.

Duo came up next to Heero, Matsu thought they looked very handsome standing next to each other. “Alright thanks, and nice hair due Duo, Heero has really good taste it appears.” Matsu sounded very cheery and happy now that she was save and warm it made Duo happy.

“Yes he dose,” Duo agreed then came around and sat down on the love seat as Heero made his way down the hall. To the bathroom he turned on the cold water and pulled his clothes off and got in. Damn that sexy boy Heero thought to himself as he shivered in the falling icy spray. Was this such a good idea now he wondered, there was no turning back now.
