March: Of Fishes, Flowers, and Family

Morning meeting\'s done, thank Allah. I don\'t know how many more hours of facts and figures I could take, especially since the rest of the board seems to think I need every little thing spelled to me. I hate being young sometimes. It\'s really annoying. I do have a BA. I did go to college, but because I look young, these men think they have the right to look down on me. Ageism sucks.
On a brighter note, Duo did go back to Heero\'s last night, only to find his boyfriend talking to the dog. Yes, Heero was talking to the puppy, and Firecracker, bless his little heart, was almost responding. From what Duo says, Heero was almost heartbroken, and looking to the dog for comfort. How cute is that? He was asking Firecracker all sorts of questions, reassuring himself that Duo was going to come back and saying things like \"You were just doing that to protect me? Do you really think of me as your human?\" And the puppy was licking his fact in affirmation. Duo says his heart just about melted, and I can understand that. Pets are amazing creatures.
Speaking of pets, my fish are looking a bit piqued. I think they need a little protein. Maybe I should send Duo out to get some worms.

So you send your assistant out for worms, and instead he calls your boyfriend, of course only after he delivers your request. So Trowa come flying into my office just as I\'m thinking about feeding worms to my fish.
\"Quatre Rabarba Winner, don\'t you even think about it,\" he warned looking directly at me.
\"Think about what?\" I asked innocently.
\"Cary and Debroah won\'t like worms.\"
\"They\'re fish. All fish like worms.\"
\"No.\"
\"No?\"
\"No.\"
That was when Duo walked in and told Trowa to take me to lunch. I needed that. I think I was getting a little stressed.
