Chapter 5
Title: Unborn Love Part

Notes: I know that this FIC may not be to you guys liking but it was swimming at the top of my head for a While and I think I would go crazy if I don\'t write it down. I really hope you guys like it though. And yes I am aware of the mistakes and spelling errors in it.

\"Freeze!\" Heero shouted at the perpetrator.
The perpetrator looked up in surprise that they have been caught. Dropping the knife they had been holding and sprinted towards the open window. Heero\'s reaction to this was to shoot the person in the leg. There was no way he wanted to kill this person...yet. Heero wanted to ring all the information he could muster out of this person, who he had suspected, might have been hired by Relena.
The perpetrator let out a painful cry as the bullet ripped through their leg. Falling to the floor and panting from the pain, the perpetrator looked up to see the barrel of the gun aimed at their head. The perpetrator raised their hands up in a surrender position. Heero cocked his gun to indicate he meant business.
\"Take off your mask\" Heero said to the person who is on the floor in pain from his gun shoot.
The perpetrator nodded their head indicating \'no.\'
\"If you want to have it your way\" Heero said as he fired off another shoot taking out the other leg. The perpetrator let out a cry and went to clutch the other wounded leg, but Heero stopped him from doing so. \"Did I say you could move?\" Heero asked the person who was on the floor in pain. The person nodded no from the floor. \"Would you cooperate now? Or should I shoot out your arms as well?\" Heero said. This got the person\'s attention. Heero took out his cell phone and dialed preventer\'s headquarters.
Wufei and the Trowa were the first one\'s at the scene. Quatre would be joining them in a few since he had to wrap up a couple of loose ends at his family corporation.
\"Jeez Heero, you did a number on this one\" Wufei said as he noticed the person who was sitting on the floor in pain, leaning against the wall, legs bleeding.
\"Hai, I found this person trying to kill Duo when no one was guarding him\" Heero said.
\"What happened to all the bodyguards we stationed here for Duo\'s protection?\" Trowa said.
\"That is what I want to find out\' Wufei said in anger that they would leave their post and endanger the most important person in their lives. \"Who is this guy and what does he have to do with Duo?\" Wufei asked Heero.
\"Actually, I don\'t know if it is a male or female. I rather leave the unmasking for an audience just in case anything goes wrong, I would not be held accountable. The shoot to the legs are for running away, the bleeding has stopped, the wound isn\'t deeps and dangerous in any sense\" Heero said assuring Trowa who had kneeled down to check out the wounds.
\"Good job Heero, I think we will take it from here\" Wufei said as he edged closer to the perpetrator and pulled off their mask. Wufei stood frozen as he looked down at the would-be-killer.
\"Injustice\" Wufei shouted in rage as he looked down on one of their own, a preventer agent, one who was suppose to be put on post to protecting Duo\'s life from any harm. \"Why did you do it!\" Trowa asked, shocked as well.
The agent looked down in shame not wanting to answer his question.
\"You better speak up because of the evidence that is held against you, you will be put in prison for the longest time\" Wufei said \"I can\'t believe this! Who would have thought one of our own men? That would explain why there was no one at post\"
Heero stood on the side watching this ordeal; Wufei was even more enraged about this situation then Heero was. Heero was only happy that he had reached the room in time before anything bad happened to his Duo.
Trowa and Heero stood there while watching Wufei life the wounded man up and started to ring his neck. \"I\'ll kill you, you ungrateful piece of shit!\" Wufei said.
\"You better not\" a voice said from the doorway. All eyes focused in on the new person, lady Une.
No one has ever seen lady Une so pissed before. The woman\'s eyes were slanted and her lips held firmly. She took short hard strides and reached Wufei and the wounded agent.
\"Agent James, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Duo Maxwell, anything you say would be held in the court of law, that is unless you tell me a damned good reason for back stabbing the preventers headquarters\" Lady Une said.
Agent James started to tremble, he could have faced any wrath from the ex-Gundam pilots, but then when he was face to face with lady Une, he was terrified. Something in that lady could scary anyone to death. That was when Agent James spilled out the reason.
\"Please spare me. My family...Mrs. Relena told me that-that he killed my wife, my son!\" Agent James said pointed at the comatose patient in bed. Everyone in the room was silent.
\"Mrs. Relena told you that?\" Heero said, seeing red. Heero couldn\'t believe it. Relena would go through such great lengths to try to get ride of Duo.
\"Yes, Mrs. Relena never lies. She told me that he killed my family. They were on a plane, I saw it all\" Agent James said, \"When I joined the preventers I thought that I could track the killer down, but now to know that he is laying in bed and in coma, he deserves it! He deserves it all!\" Agent James screamed.
Lady Une looked at the agent in disgust. \"Trowa, make sure Agent James gets the medical attention he needs, don\'t want him dying on us when we haven\'t taped his statement down and shipped to prison now\" Une said.
\"Yes ma\'am\" Trowa said taking hold of Agent James flailing arms and roughly dragging him out of the room.
\"No better yet, send him to a mental institution\" Lady Une said. She was furious. The preventers had a background check on every single agent. There was no way that Duo would have killed Agent James wife and child. The report had said that there was a gas leak on the plane that made it blow up in the air on take off. Relena must have done something to Agent James in order to make him want to kill Duo so bad. This was the break they needed in putting Relena away for good. Zech\'s would not be too pleased with the news that she had to give him now.
