Notes: I know that this FIC may not be to you guys liking but it was swimming at the top of my head for a
while and I think I would go crazy if I don\'t write it down. I really hope you guys like it though. And
yes I am aware of the mistakes and spelling errors in it. Please enjoy. Questions and comments are
welcome. Just kill the flames. ^_~
***In the Hospital***
\"Sally! How is he?\" Heero asked when the Doctor came out.
\"Pray for him Heero...He needs it\" Sally said to Heero.
\"What is that suppose to mean? That he won\'t make it? Please tell me please!\" Heero pleaded.
\"You know what Heero? You have a lot of nerves to be asking me these questions! After you left Duo, we haven\'t even been able to contact him for the longest time, and to see him turn up with you in such conditions that he is in and to expect you to get back into his life is pretty hard to believe\" Sally said in frustration.
\"You have to understand Sally! I didn\'t mean this to happen to him! I didn\'t know!\" Heero said.
\"Then his condition and status does not have anything to do to you, as long as I am concerned, once you walked out on Duo\'s life, you walked out on all of our lives!\" Sally said heatedly, \"Not if you don\'t mind, I have to make a phone call to the people who really do care\" and with that, Sally walked off, leaving Heero stunned to absorb in what he heard.
***Hours Later***
The frantic and pale pilot of Sandrock came running into the Hospital with Trowa and Wufei not far behind.
\"Sally, we got the message, is it true you found him?\" Quatre asked.
\"I didn\'t find him, you have Heero there to thank, lets step aside so that we could discuss his condition\" Sally said. As she lead the three boys off to the corner waiting area to talk. Knowing that Heero could lip-read; Sally turned facing away from the ex-pilot and started to tell them Duo\'s status, which put Heero\'s scale in patience to none at all.
\"I am afraid that I have very bad new Quatre, I know that you don\'t want to hear this but, Duo is dying, dying very slowly. In recent x-rays, there happens to be shattered fragments of some sort of device that I am not sure of, but then we had an extensive operation to remove the pieces to examine them. His face is not reparable; he has done a number on himself with just his nails! Which surprised me because he must have been scratching at the same area for the longest time to receive wounds like he has. We have cut some of the scar tissue and stitched it up as best as we could so that hopefully, it would fade with time and disappear, but then the main problem I encountered was the broken ribs, torn ligament, fractured ankle, broken arm and a punctured spleen. I don\'t know how he could have survived so long, or who has done this to him, but I swear to you I will find out!\" Sally said in anger.
\"So what are you saying Sally? Duo would not make it through the ordeal will he?\" Trowa asked calmly.
\"You were Gundam Pilots, you should know the extent of information I have given you to write out a conclusion, we tried all we could, but if he does not wake up within 48 hours, then we have to pull the plug. I can\'t stand the suffering that he will endure\" Sally said
\"We understand Sally, we will accept the outcome, but I don\'t think that Heero would take it well...\" Wufei said.
\"I haven\'t told him anything of which I have just told you three, I was so angry with him leaving Duo. Did you know how hard it was to find out in the news that he was with Releana instead of the one who loves him more then anything?\" Sally asked.
\"Yes, we do understand, and we will tell him, thank you so much for you help Sally, will you keep us informed?\" Quatre said.
\"Anything for you guys\" Sally said with a small smile.
\"Thank you, now we have to break it to Heero that Duo might...\"
\"Don\'t say it unless it is true Wufei\" Quatre said.
The three now turned to Heero who was standing in the far corner staring at them.
\"Here goes nothing,\" Wufei said.
