Wufei
shifted nervously in his seat in Treize�s office. It wasn�t that the antique
chair with its twin placed on the other side of the man�s desk wasn�t
comfortable to sit in, but because the Chinese boy knew that this had something
to do with what he and Duo had done in the late morning. He was sure of this
because Duo was waiting outside in Une�s office, waiting for his turn, while
the woman took a chance to scold the boy. She, herself, had gotten wind of what
the two had done. She even dared to scold Mr. Treize for being too easy with
Duo�s punishment the first couple of times he had done this with his friends
and had been caught. Giving Duo a talking too wasn�t working, she insisted and she
wanted to try something harsher to fix his behavior.

Treize
brushed her off, knowing that a �paddling� discipline wasn�t something he was
going to allow on his kids and said he would take care of things. Une must have
had a harsh upbringing. So while Wufei was shifting nervously in Treize�s
office, Duo was being drilled in Une�s. The indigo-eyed boy was flatly ignoring
her.

�
I will not let him imitate me. No matter how long he makes me wait to scold me,
� Wufei was telling himself. He took his mind off the matters at present by
looking around Treize�s office. The man had a taste for antiqued, European
furniture. It was nothing like his bathroom. The darker wood that paired in
harmony with the hues of reds used on the patterned upholstery, to the carpet,
and curtains framing the two large windows on either side of Treize�s desk.
Personal knickknacks were placed here and there on tables, bookshelves, and the
desk. A few framed diplomas hung proudly on a wall. A bouquet of white roses
stood resting in a Chinese vase ended the eye tour of Treize�s office.

Wufei
glanced back at the man in question and found Treize gazing at him. The Chinese
boy flushed, from embarrassment or something else he wouldn�t admit to himself,
like the chance that Treize thought he was attractive, a thought picked up from
the going-ons of yesterday. Wufei scolded himself for even thinking, wondering
if Khushrenada thought he was attractive and met Treize�s gazing sapphire blue
eyes with a scowl. It was hard to glare at someone when your heart picked up a
few notches when staring into naturally seductive eyes of a gorgeous man who
was Treize Khushrenada. Those eyes lowered just slightly and Wufei�s forehead
puckered, wondering what the heck Treize was looking at now? Why not scold him
& be done with it?

�
Oh, no. He has to toy with me first! � Wufei thought, fighting the urge to roll
his eyes. He might have before, but the Chinese boy was sent in here to be
disciplined and Wufei wasn�t going to press his luck with the man.

Wufei�s
lips, Treize mused, were just the perfect shade and shape. Not too pink and not
too flesh toned and just full enough that they fit the shape of his face in
perfect harmony. Khushrenada had a sudden desire to see how they�d look set in
a pout. An expression that he would probably never see graced upon the boy
Treize thought regrettably. Were they just as soft and yielding as they looked?

�
Wufei, � Treize spoke up to get the boy�s attention. When he had it, the taller
man tapped a corner of his own mouth with a finger and then gestured the boy to
come forward with the same hand as he leaned towards the boy, � You, ahem, have
something on your� �

Wufei
had already leaned forward himself, acting upon the gesture before he knew what
he was doing and when Treize politely indicated that he had something on his
face left from breakfast, the Chinese boy flustered, moving back to wipe it
away, but Treize had already caught his face in his large, warm hand.

�
Allow me to� � Treize�s other thumb brushed away at nothing. Sneaky it was, but
the handsome older man could care less as he stroked the boy�s warm skin by the
side of his mouth a few times before brushing his thumb across Wufei�s lips. A
started, tiny gasp that escaped the boy�s lips from the warm feeling it left
behind caused both to draw closer to each other. Wufei�s eyes drooped slightly
as one might before they were kissed, but both seemed to suddenly remember
where they were and drew back quickly.

Treize
was all smiles inside, now assured that the lovely little dragon was indeed
attracted to him, while Wufei scolded himself for wanting Treize to kiss him.
His cheek tingled from where it had been held by the gingered haired man, as
did his lips. Treize cleared his throat, gathering up some papers together and became
professional again. He had almost lost self-control when Wufei had gasped at
his touch and it wouldn�t do to jump the boy on his second day at the home in
his private office. That and Wufei would hate him for such a violation after
the brief, but swift moment of capturing his lips with his own was over.

�
Wufei, it has come to my attention that you have purchased some personal items
with a certain account without being giving proper permission. �

Wufei
jumped up to his feet, � But Duo-! It was my idea! I asked! �

Treize
held up his hand, a little taken back by Wufei�s swift loyalty to someone he
had just met. A friend. � Ah, dragon. � � Be that as it may, what�s done is
done. The passwords are being changed as we speak and while I�ll look away just
this once for you, Wufei, Duo will be punished this time. He�s done this before
for some of his friends and he�s been warned of what would happen if he carried
on with this violation. �

�
B-but- � Wufei began.

�
-That�s not fair? � Treize finished, � I could make you both pay for the
items in question. �

Wufei
closed his mouth. He didn�t have the money and he doubted Duo did either.
Treize winked at him catching the distress and concern in his dark eyes, �
Don�t worry, dragon, I�ll only have Duo wash the black boards for six months.
Funds for personal items would have been provided for you eventually as all my
kids are, but I guess Duo wanted to make you feel a bit more welcomed here with
a shopping spree. �

The
raven-haired boy nodded. �And I apologize for using your money without your
permission, Mr. Khushrenada, � Wufei said humbly, looking at his hands in his
lap.

�
Since we are apologizing, I will end this with saying that I�m also sorry if
I�ve done or said anything to offend you when we first met, � Treize replied.
The boy looked up at him. Sapphire eyes smiled at him, sincerity to be found
within them. Wufei almost felt a little guilty for ever feeling a grudge
against the man.

The
raven-haired boy gave a little sigh. � I don�t understand you at all,
Khushrenada. You can be a charming man one moment & a manipulating bastard
the next. �

Treize
chuckled, his elbows resting on his desk, � I�m sorry you think I�m so two
faced, Wufei, but at least you�re honest. �

Wufei
flushed. Had he said that out loud?

�
I appreciate honesty in those around me, � Treize added. He stood up,

�
Well, now that we�ve had this talk, you can go on your way, Wufei �til we speak
again. On your way out, tell Duo to go on his way as well. I�m sure Ms. Une has
giving him a much harsher talking to then I would like, but� �

The
man shrugged and opened the door. The woman in question snapped up from
standing over Duo once Treize entered the room, plastering a smile upon her
face.

�
Duo is ready to see you, sir, � she said.

�And
I�m sure you�ve alreaiviniving him a talking too, � Treize said without any
humor in his voice. He looked at the boy, � Duo, you�ll be washing all the
black boards for the next six months once school starts up and this will be the
last time you do this? Agree? �

�
Yes sir! � Duo grinned at taller man, but took his word seriously. Mr.
Khushrenada was an easygoing man, but even Duo knew he had his limits and
didn�t want to find the ends to them. It could be even scarier then one might
imagine.

�
Sir, since Duo and I were in this together, I will join in Duo�s punishment, �
Wufei spoke up.

�
But- �

� I�m every bit as guilty as he is, � Wufei
interrupted the man. He glanced up at Treize, to dare the man to try and change
his mind.

�
If that�s what�s you want, � Treize said, seeing the sternness in the boy�s
eyes. Duo had better never abuse the boy�s loyalty.

�
Fei-kun, I love you! � Duo chirped, locking Wufei into a hug.

�
Wufei, Maxwell, my name is Wufei! � The Chinese boy argued with
the American as they left Une�s office. Treize chuckled at their retreating
figures. Une simply frowned. Her already being prejudice against Wufei, she
took it upon herself to think that when Duo hugged him and Wufei didn�t push
him away in disgust, that he was competition for Treize�s affections and would
make sure she found a way to remove the boy from the center.
